  1. Reset and abandon are both grayed out. I also tried going back to Zakuul to find the source of the mission but, nothing there.
  2. I was up to the point where you fight Arcann, and I wanted to empty my bags, so I used Fleet pass to return to fleet. Now every time I click play, it just shows the load screen, and loads me into the spot you load in on Fleet. Also, no matter which companion I select, it defaults me to T7. I filed a ticket regarding this 7 days ago, but no response, so now I'm level 65, and can't get to Odessan, finish story, etc.
  3. I personally know of over 80 people who cancelled their subs, and not one of them quit because of the subscription model. A small number, and completely anecdotal, but I just never ran into anyone who quit because of the 15 bucks a month. In fact, I probably know of more who have/would've quit because of F2P. Good luck SWTOR.
  4. What if you hate fleet chat, and find it filled with trolls, miscreants, and mental incompetents, as I do, and always leave it turned off? How would my game become more "enjoyable"?
  5. I don't know many who hate this game, but I know over 100 people who just didn't like it. Myself included. Too bad, I doubt there will ever be a truly successful Star Wars themed MMO. This one is headed for niche status, just like SWG, but, I've been there and done that. Good luck SWTOR.
  6. I never hated SWTOR, nor did the 80+ members of the pvp-only guild I belonged to. Some of us became frustrated, others bored, and eventually all of us quit. If they ever get it sorted out, I believe some of us would return
  7. Your're probably right, and that's another concern of mine. what you describe is exactly what I did in every F2P I ever tried. I downloaded it, played it for a few weeks, and quit. Never spending a single dime on the game, and that doesn't increase profits. In my opinion, if EA doesn't see an increase in profits, or at the very least, stabilization, they will make this game completely F2P...and the next step, should SWTOR still remain unprofitable, is shutdown. Of course I see that as a worst case scenario, but make no mistake, EA, as a company right now is hurting, and I could easily see them pulling the plug if they think it will benefit them.
  8. Unless they make radical changed, the same fundamental problems that drove people away in the fist place, will be the same problems that cause F2P to fail as well. Even players who play for free, want to have fun. !-50, is the most enjoyable part of this game... but only once. I rolled up 4 level 50's before I quit, and the on-rails repetitive side quests nearly pushed me to start drinking again. My entire guild of over 80 people quit this game, as did I, and not one of us quit because of the subscription model. We quit because we didn't like the game. F2P won't fix that, without a substantial overhaul.
  9. You mean the Malgus statue that you can pick up routinely for less than 30 bucks. Don't spend it all in one place lol.
  10. I hope they don't bring them back. I bought three of them, used one and saved the others. Exclusive items help to define players, almost like a visual history that says "yeah I been there, done that". With so little customization in this game in regard to character creation etc. We need all the individuality we can get. Instead of asking for a white crystal re-release, why not ask for another limited availability color. Then in a few months you'll have something that others who happened along after you, will never have, and it will set your character apart, just as our white crystals do now.
  11. All the "good" pvpers left when 1.2 went live, so WZ activity should remain pretty constant.
  12. I cancelled the day 1.2 came out, and my sub is up 17th or 18th of Aug. Not renewing. I continued to lurk about, because I love Star Wars, and really hoped they would start steering pvp in a positive direction, but ultimately it's just been one debacle after another, and I don't foresee them getting it right any time soon. I'll check back in a year or so.
  13. GW2 is certainly not the second coming of Jesus lol, But it is however, so far above SWTOR in terms of PVP, that I can't even describe it. If running mindless PVE dailies is your thing, SWTOR is for you. If running countless Warzones dailies to get fully augmented WH gear, then using said gear to curb stomp people in Recruit gear is your thing, then SWTOR is for you. I can't really say how good, or bad, the PVE is in GW2, because I don't partake in in it, but if you want pvp that is skill based, then it's the game you're looking for. No gear grind, no elitist, I can pwn you because I can play 18 hours a day and have better gear, and no sub fee. Everybody, (who enjoys true pvp competition) wins.
  14. Well I can relate to your problem. I quit playing the game, both pvp, and pve about three months ago. Why? because even though I was always in the top three in every category of every pvp match. The only mvp votes I got were from groupies, or guildies. (So I guess my contributions while solo rendered me a nonfactor? Yeah, right...) I soon realized that pvp in SWTOR was just to be a never ending gear grind, (al la WoW), and even though I had the best gear at the time, I just didn't give a **** about being better than someone else anymore. So I moved on to GW2, along with about 80 other members of my guild. Personally, I find the whole "fairies and elves" BS less than appealing... But damn they got the pvp, head and shoulders above anything SWTOR has done to date, and since I don't even have to bother with leveling or pve, it's a win, win for me. HELLA FUN FTW!
  15. I have 3 for sale on Jedi Covenant for 5 mill each, and 2 white crystals for 20 mill each. PM Valeri or in game!
  16. I was able to get 7 out of 8 of my old names on my new server, AND my legacy, but still all I do is log in, say hi to a few people and log back out lol.
  17. It's too poorly written to be authentic.
  18. Level cap without a full expansions worth of content is fail. It's nothing more than a way to keep people on the treadmill.
  19. Does it really matter if you or I think the complaints are founded? It really only matters to the person making the complaint, and based on what I've seen in game, and on forums, people, for whatever reason, are not happy, and ultimately that's all that matters.
  20. I enjoyed SWG pvp for 8 years, and got bored with TOR pvp in 3 months. But financially, TOR probably already equaled or exceeded SWG in terms of financial success.
  21. I remember 1.2 I cancelled the day after it went live!
  22. I'm glad you're happy with the state of pvp. However, many are not, and their concerns are just as valid as yours. Some will continue to voice their concerns, while others will leave. My advice to you is that you avoid the forums, and continue to enjoy the game, because you will not, no matter how hard you try, influence the opinions of those who are unhappy. And ultimately, BioWare will either please the masses...or not.
