  1. 2 things: 1) If you stun/slow people they can't get away fast enough all the time. 2) You overestimate player intelligence.
  2. So, how does it compare to Shadows/Assassins chain pulling someone away from a goal in Huttball? Or multiple non-Knight classes that have roots attached to their knockbacks? Basically you're complaining about one small thing cause a bunch of people are playing Sent/Marauder now since Combat is stupid good in PvP with Precision Strike and buffed Master's Strike. No root adds resolve, why should Knights get nerfed because you feel that it's too powerful? It only seems to be an issue if there's an incident where a PvP match has more than 1 knight. If you're rolling up against teams of 4 Marauders, they'll kill you anyways if they focus fire you down. You're looking at the entirely wrong aspect of it.

    Who's Doc?

Doc has a real name. He just prefers you don't use it.
  4. I can cancel Master's Strike with movement every time. What's your ability delay set to?
  5. No, they shouldn't if they always cater to the players, the game loses it's balance and design path, ultimately making the game worse. Players don't know what they want most of the time.
  6. Right up until we get a nerf, then it will be "BOO HOO BIOWARE NEVER LISTENS TO US! THEY HATE JKS CAUSE THEY WON'T FIX THE LARGE BUTT ISSUE AMONG OTHER THINGS" MMO fans are fickle things. Probably a bunch of people complaining this isn't good enough of a buff/change.
  7. Soa's damage is Elemental/Internal damage, which cannot be dodge/blocked/parried. As a Guardian, my shield and my Riposte ability never proc on this fight. It shouldn't be a big deal, as his damage to the tank is a pretty minor part of the fight, but it is annoying.
  8. It kinda scales with gear. Just not Guardian Gear (Scales with Willpower, last I heard) So, yes. It needs to be reworked.
  9. It's a mechanic of combat. A guardian has abilities to negate incoming damage rather than heal damage (Stuns and things like Saber Ward) Other classes compensate with heals, or slows to prevent damage. You don't have that option. Just a style of gameplay.
  10. No what else doesn't count? You sitting on the forums NOT TESTING IT. Get on the test server and post me evidence that it's as world ending as you say.
  11. Force Leaping a full resolve (white bar) target works as normal. The root and interrupt work fine, just not the stun.
  12. You'll never be restricted by alignment for weapons, really.
  13. Nope. You get the 40% resolve from the stun, and then they still can't move for a second afterwards.

Have you tried taunting the adds? I hate seeing "the fight is too hard, this is the thing that makes people quit" type junk. Have you ever considered that if hundreds and maybe thousands of people have done it before you, you might be doing something wrong? Maybe take a step back from your threats to quit, and figure out the mechanics of the fight. I have no lag pretty much anywhere. If it's just on your experience, it's probably not the game. Just speaking from a technical background. This just sounds like another excuse. The only time I notice that "my toon" is doing worse, is when I'm doing worse. If I'm not paying attention to what I do, or my surroundings in game, I sometimes die. Why should they forward a ticket for something that doesn't even sound like it's bugged? They could have checked the logs (BioWare has logs of everything) seen that everything is working as intended, and closed the ticket to move onto a real issue. It's getting real old for people to come to the forum and complain about <insert mob/fight here> blaming everyone and everything but themselves for not being able to complete it. I bet if you had a video recording of you doing the fight, it would be quite easy to pinpoint what's going wrong. But so far all you've done is come here, say you can't beat the fight, then blame BioWare for everything.
  15. The problem with Hybrid specs, is that they show an inherent flaw in the trees, as the positioning of talents is allowing the cherry picking of powerful talents to usually create a spec that the devs didn't intend for. Hybrid specs in such a case are chosen because they are more powerful that a standard tree spec, and it devalues the other talents in a tree, or content in the game (such as hybrid specs putting out more damage than intended) That's usually why they get squashed pretty quickly.
  16. Stagger and Force Clap do stack.
  17. I've already told people in like 3 threads. It's not optional. And it wasn't that hard for me to adapt to it. Raise your hand if you've tested the change, and if it broke the game for you.
  18. You didn't use Awe. If you use Awe to stun all the adds+the boss, you can kill the adds without the Boss casting at you. Also, line of sight, and having health bars on so you can see cast bars and change targets to interrupt. For everyone: The fact is, if you can't kill this, you're doing it wrong. You aren't using the abilities available to you, and not interrupting the Force Blast. I've done it on a Guardian and a Sentinel now, once pre-nerf (took me 2 hours worth of attempts) and once post-nerf (one shot). Saying that other people are lying or had to overgear the fight is just an excuse to not take the onus on yourself to play better. You may think I'm being rude, but I'm just not sugar coating the truth. The fight is easy. Turn on Health Bars (Preferences>Nameplates>Nameplates on enemy NPCS) Use all of your stuns and interrupts available to you. You have 4 base line, and depending on your spec, you can get shorter CDs/more. If you're trying to brute force the fight, you're doing it wrong. He will one shot you, and it's your fault, not the fights.
  19. 3 Yellows for the tank one. It has def on it. It's best in slot for the most part.
  20. Man, if something this minor is all it takes to get you to quit, you must go to pieces if something big were to happen.
  21. You don't get a choice. It's a passive for picking Guardian. Like Blade Turning, or the ability to use Shield Generators, or Heavy Armor. And I've been using it in PvP on the test server, it hasn't been a big deal in the sub 50 bracket. If you're on an assist train the resolve bar fills almost instantly anyways, and if you're not, you just compensate for knowing that you're going to stun them. I've been using it more often to stop the spam clickers on objectives.
  22. PvP'd all day with it today. Was barely noticeable, other than I paid a bit more attention to the Resolve Bar. This was at the sub 50 bracket, as I don't have a 50 on the PTR yet.
