Welcome to modern day mmo pvp. Where everyone is dps and on a singleplayer campaign to get the biggest numbers because they think that if they score 500k damage they are better than a guy with 450k damage.

Not for the last time, but for the 200th time since public launch, if there are sorcs out there (and apparently there has been) that do not have 12 or preferably 15 points in the healing tree you are doing 'it' completely and utterly wrong. I don't care how many bads try to get into a flame war with little 'noob' me, I will keep on saying it until I see every sorc ina WZ getting 100k+ heals. There is an extremely and completely intended reason that we are a class with good dps and heal abilities and talents, that does not bury itself in a resource deficit, and that coincidentally also has a long-term resource mechanic.

This is why the last 2-3 generation of mmo's have failed, the people are, really, just complete derpoids who even when trying to make a post about their opinion, still manage to, well, kind of contradict themselves'.

Should it? Because other classes that have simialr cast times do that kind of damage? Despite the fact they are burst dps classes and we (sorcs) are a sustained healing/dps class. Sorcerer's will always be balanced by BW on the principle of our mechanics; we have a long term resource mechanic that allows us to straight up fight for longer than most other classes without burying ourselves in a resource deficit (other than just plain running out of force, which isn't a deficit). This is why LS doesn't do as much damage as it should. They toned the values down to compensate for the resource mechanic they gave us, and aren't man enough to state it was very simply too low and they have ballsed up a simple calculation for the damage co-efficient of LS when compared with FL. People NEED to stop asking for stuff they want, and have no idea about, but they won't. This also was perfectly demonstated in this post then that lovely chap stated alacrity doesn't affect the gcd when the post above his gave simple factual evidence that in some cases it did, and then again AFTER his post. This general trend of hyper-derpness is seen in game every day when you have a wz full of dps who can't actually land more than 3-5 killing blows a wz. I digress...

hybrid dps? A true hybrid is a healer/dps at the same time. All sorcs can, but a dedicated hybrid spec defines a hybrid playstyle. I'm glad I won't see any more 'hybrid dps/dps's. Moar force bending.

Cross server ANYTHING cannot exist in this game UNLESS bw change up their servers dramamtically. It is extremely difficult to do this. Stop wishing for it, it can't happen eith the current infrastructure of the game's servers.

The amount of ignorant posts of the calbre found in this thread used to baffle me. It existed in WAR but was rare; the amount of tards in this game however is out of control. i can't wait to leave. By the way, if a date is in the future, it hasn't happened yet, and that means I am still playing this game, as the concept we call time hasn't elapsed to the aforementioned date. I have no idea what that guy talking about ranted obj-less arenas is on about, I didn't even play wow GZ guys on proving me right And I really hope BW proves me wrong, since I've been looknig forwards to this game for almost 4 years, personally. However, I am not so narrowminded as to be completely tunnelvisioned by a game that I feel the need to defend it to the alst, despite so much time invested in it, especially before public release. I really wanted it to be the next big thing and still do, but imo 1.2's changes are not for me, and a vast majority of people I know in varying guilds on Tomb of Freedom Nadd serrver, EU's biggest pvp server by far. Such a fanboy. Rated wz's will do nothing, I guarantee it. They need to amke sweeping changes to the pvp aspect of this game and realise its not an add-on to the majority of long time players.

PvP is bad because most of us get 10-15 fps. It's just not enjoyable.

Please do yourself a favour and l2p the game whose forums your posting in before publicly announcing your mentally handicapped, unless this was your intention.

Teh bloody game doesnt even run with respectable fps.

WAR can be summed up by 'mara/chosen stackable cast time increasers' Anyd ev team letting that through knows they let their playerbase down BIGTIME. And they did. The combat and basic rvr was good, but everything they tried to do was just complete fail, there no other way to describe it.

I don't want to do any crafting, I just want to gather or whatever and sell stuff and make money, either directly or indirectly. Crafting actual items for myself isn't a priority.

Just running missions. It doesn't seem like theres much point running around gathering in this game when you could be doing something else pvp related, or farming instance.

As title, just send my guys out and gather stuff up and either sell it on or give to friends to make me stuff. What are the best crew skills to take? I am geussing Underworld, slicing and treasure hunting, am i right?

10 years ago people didnt have as much access to computers as we have now, nor was gaming as popular.
