  1. Not really sure how my CPU could be holding me up, I have the new AMD FX Series (The 4100). It's only the quad-core and not the 8 but it runs at 3.6GHz and can boost up to 3.8. Also, do you know how to check whether your 6950 is a reference card or not? The useless little booklet that came with it doesn't say whether the little switch is for BIOS 1 and 2 or it's a v2 card that uses it for something else. I read that if it's a reference card then it is built to be able to handle the unlocked shaders, but if it is a v2 card then it could end up overheating the card. @Whoever asked if AMD makes graphics cards: Yes they do
  2. I just upgraded my graphics card to the AMD 6950 (woot!) I did get significant FPS improvement over my ATI Radeon 5770, but not as much as I was expecting. Hoping someone else with a 6950 can compare my general FPS numbers to theirs to make sure that I really am getting what should be with this beast. Alone on my ship doing nothing: 110 General PvE in non-crowded area regardless of the setting: 70-80 Warzones: 30-35 Imperial Fleet: 20-25 With occasional drops durring warzones and imp fleet to 15ish. Does this seem right? Thanks!
  3. Ummm, yes it does. His main complaint is that it's "unfair" that people who pre-ordered sooner got into EA sooner... Pretty much exactly corresponds with that way of thinking.....
  4. Clearly you didn't comprehend my words, I will attempt to dummy it down even more... I saying you do stand to lose anything by pre-ordering vs. not pre-ordering. And I'm discussing your initial complaint that pre-ordering the game was pointless because you didn't get into EA right at the start. The people that pre-ordered before you, got in before you. Would you be complaining if the game had actually launched back in July, but you didn't purchase it until December? And for the direct link you wanted: http://buy.swtor.com/us/ (The main pre-order page) Notice the line a little bit down a ways: The order in which you redeem your Pre-order Code is the order in which you will gain Early Game Access before the game’s official release. So don’t wait and pre-order now!
  5. Why should it be wrong? Like many other things it life the EA is given on a first come fist served basis. Would you be saying it was wrong if you went to the Apple Store on iPhone 4s launch day an hour before they closed and they told you they were out of iPhone 4s's and you couldn't buy one? Had you pre-ordered in July, you would have gotten in on the first day....
  6. I'm sure they are sorry for not spelling out the exact details for your tiny mind but on the pre-order page it did say something along the lines of "Early access granted based on order of redemption". You have no valid complaint, you are only making yourself look like a foolish child throwing a tantrum for not getting his way. Just be happy you are going to get early access at all. Even if it was only 1 day prior to game launch that would still be one day more then all the people who did not pre-order. You didn't pay anything extra to pre-order the game, you paid $5 up front, then $55 when the game actually launches, totaling $60, the same amount to buy it in store after launch. So what exactly is your complaint? You only stand to gain by pre-ordering and lose absolutely nothing vs if you had simply waited and purchased in-store on the 20th......... By the way you are complaining and saying the pre-ordering was pointless it sounds like you had to cut off a limb and send it in just to get the right to pre-order or something.
  7. 10 times is quite a bit, dude must be a stallion (good job bro!!) Your complaining because you didn't read what they said. The info about it being first come first serve was right with all the other pre-order info, not buried in the forums. And again, feel free to cancel your pre-order and hitch-hike your way back to WoW (yes I'm saying your too young to drive).
  8. You are a moron... When they very first announced Pre-Orders and Early access it said quite clearly that the earlier you redeem your code the earlier you would get into the early access program. They never hid that, put it in small font, or used any other duplicity to trick you into pre-ordering. Stop whining, if you are so upset about this imagined injustice then cancel your pre-order and go back to WoW. Honestly no matter how they handled it there would have been people like you complaining like crazy. Had they just let every single person in on the 13th, the servers would have been queued like crazy, laggy, etc... and you would have made a post about how BioWare lied to you about being able to play. Also, early access wasn't even supposed to start until the 15th, assuming you get in tomorrow that means you had a 3 day way, so if they hadn't added those two extra days you wouldn't even be getting in until the 18th; instead they bumped it two days so now you are going to get in on the 16th (One day after their advertised starting point for EA) Suck it up and be happy with what you get or leave. Or at least just post your agreement in one of the 2,000 other threads just like this one made by whiney little morons just like you instead of adding another one to the list and covering up all of the actually useful and intellectual posts the mature members of the community are making. (Decided to unleash all my annoyance at all these stupid posts on you in one place) Hope a mod closes this thread and an admin bans your MAC Address from all BioWare services.
  9. Looks like they got partially through 12/07 or the people that are 12/07 and said they didn't get an email did and it just went to spam and they are blind o.O Wish they had done a little more (I'm the 8th). But I think they will be getting everyone in by the end of tomorrow at the rate they are going.
