  1. Next level mara/sent play is positioning; be sure to work yourself into a position to saber throw CC'ed targets while executing your rotation on your primary target. Ignore any detractors, we know the best CC is death. Can't break a mez on a target if the target's not breathing to begin with.
  2. He's not wrong though. Mara/Sent is objectively better than Sin/Shadow is, in pretty much every way. Sap capping is fun though, for sure.
  3. This. tbh with the comp i built for this game after the cluster **** fps i got on my older one from when i played Aion, i just threw the cpu with the best single core results i could afford in it and hoped for the best. .-. Not really a computer savant nor do i do 16 man raids, but it's worked fine overall for pvp thus far. Now that I've said something it's going to burst into flames in one of the Huttball hells though.
  4. I'm sure, but I'm asking if hes seriously stating he shouldn't be required to keep track of his debuffs in pvp.
  5. I really don't want to be that guy, but is this serious? .-.
  6. Used to be able to, but there was some bug where it would stack the cxp boost you had before with the new one you applied for that warzone only, granting a double bonus to the single warzone. Their way of 'fixing' it was just to keep you from using one in the warzone. If memory serves, as long as you have the buff applied when you enter the warzone it should still apply the bonus for that warzone round even if it falls off before the end. I'll test it tonight.
  7. Forgetting the fact that someone at Bioware would have to care enough to put time into implementing that, I'd have serious concern the server populations wouldn't support that outside of peak hours. Even if they did, it wouldn't solve your problem, as you're going to still get 'elite' players in the solo queues that will be on the same team. Your real problem would come from actual elite players though; there's not as many as there used to be, but there's still enough true world beaters running around that would be more than capable of ruining your day all by themselves in a pug group should they desire to. The point is moot though. They'll never split the queues, because unranked doesn't matter to BW; their only goal with it is to increase queue pops to get as many people into an activity/content as they can. The ranked queues don't have objective based maps which is a turn off to some, and is full of some truly insanely skilled players you'll never see outside of granked which discourages others. That and the same reasons that draw solo players to regs for fun will inevitably draw groups of friends/acquaintances, some better than others. There's nothing that will realistically fix the issue at this point with the population and setup imo. It's more likely to increase queue times to the point it kills group queues at certain points of the day, and then they'll just queue sync solos for some fun, dropping groups til the majority are on the same team and then it's the same thing as before, only worse. Personally if anything I'd like to get a practice arena queue where new groups could practice for granked, but god knows granked sharks would sit in it all day er' day too. so /shrug. It doesn't matter. .-. /nihilistic
  8. Bolster now sits around 252 iirc. Better to rock the 252 main hand proper due to bonus damage or some s*** like that, but past that I'd just readjust my 248 gear to get closer to the established stat value goals. In regards to gear in pvp, the gear differences aren't going to be crazy until the 258 main hand off hands come into play; come about 2 weeks from now or so those who started right out the gate grinding should be getting close to full 258 gear anyway. Id assume until the mh oh get released it's going to make healers/tanks more valuable w/o the increase in weapon damage to go with the stat increases, but i don't know much.
  9. This. Please check into the companions on DPS mode. I've sat and watched my companions stand like their blocked doing nothing but taking damage, not attacking etc. Something feels *really* off with them recently. *edit: Specifically Shae as thats who i run with, but id assume it carries over to other companions too
  10. u up, bb? Mmmm, an irrational number cannot be expressed as a ratio between two numbers and it cannot be written as a simple fraction because there is not a finite number of numbers when written as a decimal. Instead, the numbers in the decimal would go on forever, without repeating. I get so hot and bothered when i remember that the number π is a mathematical constant. Originally defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, it now has various equivalent definitions and appears in many formulas in all areas of mathematics and physics. It is approximately equal to 3.14159
  11. This. I doubt it'll ever be fixed because I'd bet the issues lie in the engine, specifically the modifications they made to it when building this game. Doesn't matter what the hardware they throw at it if the issue is what they put on it. :/ /shrug Hate the map though, and I'm one of the few psychotic people who loves Queshball. .-.

    PVP Hackers

Old post but w/e. First part is fine, but this thought process on the 2nd half is exactly why it's so hard to accept most hackusations. What where these healers doing to be in god mode? Positioning/movement hacks are a reality in any online game because the client has to report to the server where the player 'is' in the world, but past that? .-. not much else is realistic when most the important stuff is located server side. I see plenty of healers out there though, ranging from very easy to hard to kill through some combination of LoS, guard and the abundance of low tier DPS players filling matches. If your group is rocking DPS players that average 1.5-2k DPS per match vs a half way decent healer with a guard, you're gonna have a bad time, and god forbid it be a great healer who gets the most out of his/her abilities and cooldowns. .-.
  13. I do like playing it, but i generally have a 2-3 a night policy for it. It's not the best designed warzone, but my biggest dislike of it comes from the players themselves more than the map. .-.
  14. Looking forward to watching and donating to a good cause. Also gl with the hot sauce banana xD That can be brutal without being able to have casein D:
  15. Just the win loss total from the 3 toons he posted alone comes out to around 60 hours of footage, lowballing it to 5 min start to finish per solo match. <.<; I mean, I myself am looking for anything to pass the time til GoT comes back for that final season, but this seems a bit excessive to verify what his screen shots show.
  16. if Aion wasn't so damn daily heavy I'd still be there. :/ It's too bad, it was a great PvP game. Past that putting the last of my MMO eggs in Camelot Unchained.
  17. Would be awesome, but I've learned better than to get my hopes up for stuff in this game.
  18. Little in this game brings me the joy of queuing with friends for a night of pvp and hearing their despair on comms about the multiple odessen pops in a row, I say keep it in.
  19. I like turtles. Make each turret reduce by 1 every 30 seconds with both teams starting at 1,000.

    Open world pvp

Pretty much this. PvP is an afterthought in this game, situated somewhere between which new cartel market reskin will go on sale next and figuring out who's gonna voice generic trooper #26 in a new flashpoint/chapter.
  21. To be fair, the majority of the ones I found doing youtube searches are pretty dated. That said, I can still count on one hand the amount of times I've seen a legit speed hack in person. :/ Note; that's not to say there isn't speed hackers in game, things such as positioning hacks like speed and height adjusting stuff, but map bugs and/or glitches are considerably more likely with this s**tty engine x.x
  22. Anytime man. Love finding new stuff lol, kinda hard to get some solid newer metal around where I am. xD Stuck with Meshuggah, Ministry, Napalm Death, Behemoth and the like for gym music. Chthonic; Taiwan black metal group. Been around for a decade or two, but still love the mix of old bm influence with Asian instruments.

    new WZ coming

Personally i was crossing my fingers for a Odessen Quesh ball crossover, in a map designed with tons of particle effects ran on a potato server. :/
  24. They're solid, and real chill guys as well haha. They're on the line of blackened sludge for most of their stuff, with their older content being more black metal in vocals and their newest CD cleaning up the vocals a bit. Both are good imo. Made up of a part of Abigail Williams, with their lead vocalist Adam Clemans also fronting Skeletonwitch these days.
