I will throw it out to you in the way I am honestly thinking about it. I mean your trooper character is probably meant to be thought of as being among the best of the best. So I do. I think of him as a Spec Ops CQC trained soldiers. Thinking as to how such a soldier would think He would go to that close range combat more than other soldier. Play him with that mindset and it makes perfect sense to me. That being said I have seen alot of ranged enemies that do stay ranged and you can blast away and still tank at range just fine through alot of mobs. I wouldnt say all but alot. Also.. I kinda agree. I think we should have acess to a different weapon as a vanguard. A shotgun to carry around would just make this class uber ****** even if it only changed the aesthetics of the class.

Yeah I was speaking about that turban thing. It was pretty bad looking on my body type four BH during beta. Only other helmet I saw was the weird WWI looking wide brim helmet. Also strange looking... Mercenaries seemed to love that thing.

Yeah seriously. I didn't know that every time I get out the shower and dry my hair I was donning heavy armor. Makes me pity actual light armor users

I didn't think too highly of the game other than the IP after the announcement of the companions. What little bit of the game I read about after that just didnt seem to be anything worth looking into. I almost forgot about the game until I got into the beta test weekends. After beta testing I saw the game was actually worth it. So by Dec 1st I preordered. I wont really be upset if dont get in until the weekend or later. I knew about this game way back before it was officially announced and actually waiting for another star wars mmo since before the cu and nge on SWG. A few more days isnt going to make me go postal with nerdrage.

Gamestop actually gave you a code? I originally preordered from Gamestop and they didn't even know there was a preorder code. They tried to tell me they ran out of the codes to get into beta monhts ago. I cancelled with them and just went through origin. Redeemed Dec 1st.
