  1. "Failstar, you've already gone through a lot together so don't let Qyzen Fess down. Log back into the game to continue your discovery of the galaxy with Failstar or another hero." So, I get sending e-mails out for folks who are unsubscribed, but this one confuses me. I've decided to take a break from playing until 1.2 since I burnt myself out. Still paying for the sub, not terribly concerned. Why am I being encouraged to log back in when I'm still paying though? O.o;;...It's my money..I'll log in when I please?
  2. This is insane. Time to go play, I just cannot stand these forums.
  3. America yes, Planet Earth, no. But if you saw in the earlier post related to rating some wonderful person posted what falls under a game a T rating which included Simulated Gambling.
  4. It's simulated gambling. No real money involved so I don't see a ratings or legal issue. The issue I see is if the system were exploitable or could possibly cause a severe credit bloat. The worry would be RIGHT at implementation, when the first person hits that big jackpot and decides to buy up the entire value portion AH and do a relist or something similar. And gambling without big gains possible...*Shrug*
  5. Daily? Like, lemmie average it out. I'd say I invest about 10-15 hours a weekend..Which would be around 1-2hrs a dayish. I've just got a limited amount of time usually so it's difficult for me to get on and play daily. But when I do get on I usually play hard.
  6. Well yeah, because it took people a ton of time to reach level cap in WoW, then you had to get 40 people together with the right roles and such to even have a shot. That was more of a design "issue"..You had to literally slam your head against the endgame dungeons over and over to get the gear you needed to even take a shot at MC, then had to have 40 people coordinated properly so you wouldn't die. If you've noticed, once new content is coming out for WoW NOW the normal modes are absolutely blasted in a night by some of the most hardcore guilds. *Shrug* I couldn't really care either way if population is rising or dropping as long as I'm having fun. It doesn't really matter if you prove a point either way..I mean..it's the internet right? Play if you have fun log off if you don't? Anyone? No? Back to leveling my new BH then.
  7. "I drag all my problems through every thread in the forums since the more I do it, the more people will like..see..uhh..something me." --- In other news I like some of your suggestions, especially arenas. I think it'd be fun to team up with one or two folks to fight, but I kind of feel like currently healers would need to be balanced out a bit. It really feels currently like if you didn't have a healer in any capacity, it would be almost impossible to compete.
  8. M1 - Left Click M2 - Right Click (Slot 1) I'm lazy.
  9. My Ninja is 10% less effective. WHAT IS GOING ON?
  10. I don't think you get "bonuses" for extra characters, you just get bonuses you can apply to them through leveling the legacy. More character options..moves..nobody really knows as the system hasn't been detailed yet.
  11. Huh. So are you using like a 3D Monitor or the Nvidia built in 3D or..Curious. I'm not equipped for 3D ATM (And won't be soon sadly) but I've never been a huge fan, is it really that much of a neat improvement? Do the characters really pop out at you?
  12. I'll save you some time. It's not going to live up to your expectations.
  13. HAH! Now I want options as to what it pops up on as well. WHITES ALL THE WAY UP TO ORANGES. BWAHAHAHHAHA. MOAR!
  14. It's supposed to represent the passage of time obviously, but there is absolutely no reason to send people away to the fleet. You could easily say "Why not go study in the ________" or "Why not hone your skills in the __________" or Why not go torture some people in the ___________" Point is, it can be on planet. It really can. I don't think it's the egregious sin that hes making it out to be since it doesn't actually suck up that much time (10 mins tops? Does this really warrant a 2 week anger protest?) but it is nonsensical none the less.
  15. I. Skip. Through. Alien. Talk. Sorry, I don't understand it and I read a lot faster than I hear what they're saying. I think you're in the minority in this one. Alien voices are cool, but by the 3rd line I just don't care anymore. EDIT: Not to mention a feel like a lot of the talk doesn't match with the volume they're saying? Sometimes they speak an entire paragraph but beat me to the end, which creates this awkward silence. Weeeeird. I suppose alien species may be able to convey entire human sentences with one word but...
  16. Options are good, but I feel like if it were strictly only for Blues/Purples/Oranges it would solve the issues. I love it though because I made a mistaken purchase awhile ago and BW JUST refunded it recently (WZ Commends, thanks!). I think just changing the rarity threshold would work? Yeah?
  17. I don't work in the industry, but this caught my eye. "Originally publish at Game-Over." Proofing. PROOFING! PROOOOOOOFFFFFFIIIIINNNNNNNNG! I just hate when people link blogs when you could copy/paste what you wanna say here about this specific game, which you I assume "attacked" with a ton of comparisons which typically goes something like "This game did this better, this game did that better, or WoW did it better" (Amirite?) I'd say if you wanna catch eyes, you write a review that does NOT compare itself to anything, and only involves your direct experience with the game. Your next review, this one is already probably shot. GL.
  18. Didn't read the review but I clicked on the website and read through this thread. I cannot believe nobody pointed out that the user was just doing this to try to get hits/comments on his blog. I wish I could take back my click, and no, I won't be bookmarking it.
  19. It's not, but I'm not sure why you think it should be. Hardcore players may spend more time in the game, but casuals pay the same $15 a month you do to play it. And there are more of them. Lots more. And at the end of the day it's getting them to keep subbing. Like I'm not saying your point isn't valid, I'm just arguing from the standpoint of a casual, which is also valid. Even if they were to lose your subscription for doing this, the gain of casuals (or keep) would far outweigh it.
  20. My favorite part about this post is about how you blindly responded that I'm dense when I claimed that I supported the LFG system in the second half of my post. Back to what I was doing.
  21. Yeah except that you CAN find people most of the time if you search actively instead of passively spamming in fleet. Beyond that, I APPROVE of the LFG system entirely, I just hate when people make it seem like some catastrophic failure to not include it at launch. It's not that bad as long as you're not socially inept at asking people to come play with you. (Even people who are NOT listing that they're LFG! .)
  22. Que with people that listen and play well.
  23. "Hardcore PvPers Reroll. Casuals can just do the research or suffer not PvPing. They get stuck in que for 3 hours because they picked the wrong server? TOO BAD." See how that sounds? I consider myself a hardcore player but I also consider myself a hardcore realist, and if I had one of my friends play this game for 2 months on and off level to their mid 40's and then they decide they want to really get into PvP, what should I tell them? "Oh well you rolled a light server and there are no ques here. Time for you to completely abandon your character, pack up, and start on a new server. Thats the price of wanting to PvP" All the current system is doing right now is causing people to quit. Period. EDIT: It may be keeping YOU there, but if you even begin to think your voice is somehow in the majority...Well, I can't help you there my friend.
