Isle of Q'D. That was a perfect example of this. Quest hub with a raid available to both factions. Each faction has the same quests to either kill or gather (standard MMO quests) and send us on our way. Make the quest "getting" area a sanctuary, but other than that, as soon as you leave the little agro area for the guards, it's on.

Let me ask you this, is it feasible for me, with 1 computer to record hundreds if not thousands of hours of PVP to catch the 1 instance it happens? Should I slow my performance down to do this? Should I load up my HD and review matches where it may not have happened to me but "possibly" someone else? I don't know about you, but I don't have that kind of free time. Which is truly why I don't care about what others think on what I have seen. I really don't. I was letting this thread die until someone stated I was flat out lying about what I have seen. If you think about all the matches and all the people I have faced it's rather obvious this isn't an "all the time" occurrence.

With the Sorc change I have seen Sorcs cry and complain because of an unintentional exploit with their DPS system being corrected. sheesh

Why click a link if a post is entitled to something you know to be false? You aren't "forced" to read anything.

Open your character window and under the lower stats area you will be able to select what stats you want to look at. You will see a "PVP" tab, click that and it will tell you how much of a % of expertise you have. If you want the raw number, open your character screen and look where the other stats are. Also I have a feeling this needs to be explained. Expertise not only increases your damage output on another player but it lowers it as well. Same goes with healing output. So for instance you have 10% expertise, your damage output is increased by 10% and your damage taken is reduced by 10%. Hence the "her exploding you" event. I can gather you have no expertise gear and she was probably in all pvp gear putting her expertise over 10% not to mention it's higher end gear. Of course she could have popped an adrenal and a relic to increase her damage even further. Bottom line, when you hit 50 atm it is painful to PVP. A lot of us had to grind out getting waxed and not killing anyone until we got gear as well. You can either do that or wait until 1.2 comes out. Hope that helped.

In that very thread the OP stated he was going to test my theory, eager to prove me wrong and has yet to post back. But ya, lets all have everyone streaming video that way if something does happen you can pick apart system specs, client lag etc etc etc etc. With as buggy as the game is, is it so hard to believe that maybe, just maybe while I am seeing my resolve bar ticking down, server side it hasn't reached 100% yet? Roll an Op or Scoundrel just until you get your backstab. Go into a WZ, wait till someone is full resolve /backstab /kill /enjoy /profit. Why should so many throw you and the "few" videos to prove what we know is happening to us? Ya, I know a lot of complaints are raging about how resolve doesn't work because of snares etc. But to be fully stunned while a resolve bar is white and cooling down is BS. Seen similar stuff just recently pop up like this and yes in Hutball. Someones running from the first fire trap and then appears past the second. Guy mysteriously fly's sideways to another ramp from the floor without anyone being there (if it were grapple they would come out of stealth, not to mention their entire team was on the other side of the midpoint). And yes, all the while flickering "all of a sudden". I can say though I have not had it happen to me even though I have been in the same areas/circumstances as others. /shrug

No I get the fact that things still need to be implemented but the general consensus on the forums is that World PVP should have some holier than thou special treatment thing.Valor outside of Ilum and Merc comms are needed. And to the bold, there never will be a "guarantee" that other people on an opposing faction will be playing in a specific spot at any given time. People really need to realize that isn't a BW problem, that is a player problem.

I'm a merc pyro and I crit for over 4k heals and damage. Nerf Paladins,errr wait. Healers heal, when was the last time a healer damage crit you for over 4k? While I think some heavy armor healers have a bit too much tankability that really has nothing to do with their heals.

Back up, you have to give the stipulation that the sorc has just his bubble on and no guard etc. You also have to put it up that the damage has to be on a "fresh" bubble not one that the CD is up and is recastable.

So what magical barrier is keeping people from going over to the other factions area and stiring up some world PVP on Tattoine and other worlds? What's keeping you from doing it? Not trolling, I am asking an honest question. If it's a low pop server, reroll or wait till server merges or xfers and then do it. As I see it on a PVP server the only thing holding world PVP back is the Players. Yes, I have toons on a low pop PVP server as well. You can get any form of real "reward" system for world PVP out of your head as well. There will probably never be on as not only would it be severely exploited, but hard to balance with other forms of PVP. Remember the valor trading in Ilum, just an example
