  1. In Basic gear you can solo the sm version of the Czerka tactical fp's needed for the weekly, if you should so choose.
  2. I suggested a while ago some sort of journal accessible from your ship (I guess would be replaced by Strongholds now) that would allow you to replay individual story missions. Think like a datapad on the desk you could click on, that had a list of your exploits(missions) in the story, where you could port to at least the last part of each class mission on every planet and/or end of chapter.
  3. I've read that here and I agree with what your saying. I've been playing MMO's for a while now and I've seen it enough to know its not uncommon. I just think its more prevalent at the moment because of the 12xp bonus. I just feel that when they are speed rushing you to 55, you can take an hour to get the gear that makes everyone's life a little easier. But it's not a major issue for me, just something I think is slightly more common now because of the 12 xp bonus. But its more of an annoyance thing; the benefits of 12xp far outweigh the few bad groups you get.
  4. The only complaint I have regarding gearing and the 12xp is that people start running HM FP's (55) without getting at least the 156 gear from Oricon. As a tank, its very frustrating when your que pops and your heals/dps have less than 20k health, with a mix of 98 mods and lvl 45 green pieces. You shouldn't be running HM FP's without at least taking the time to get the 156 gear(its free with a less than an hour time investment) or buying the 148 mods from the AH.
  5. Because my republic medical droid was clickable a week ago and it's not anymore.
  6. So I recently came back after a bit of a break (about a year+). Just curious, is there now anyway to transfer hilts from one character to another? Similar to the barrel/bowcaster thats been available for a while. Thanks.
  7. /signed. I would love to see a continuation of the class stories. I was so engrossed in the JK story of hunting down the emperor and redeeming my fallen comrades. Same thing with the SW story becoming the emperor's wrath. Class stories are THE MAJOR draw of this game; this game was fun but in my honest opinion has lost that feel of epicness that we saw in the class stories. I'd even be ok if the story arcs combined with other classes. Something along the lines of the Hero of Tython needs the Barsen'thor to help take down the emperor, while Darth Nox needs the IA to help root out his enemies and consolidate his power. The sooner this game goes back to individual or small scale stories, the better.
  8. Customizing equipment can be very costly in this game, as everyone knows. One of the costs associated with revamping your look is adding augments. If you desire a different look and buy new gear, you need to buy all new augments to put into it (not a problem, feeds the economy) and then pay again to have them installed on your gear. Maybe as a Subscriber or Legacy 50 perk, you can remove the cost of adding augments to your gear. If BW is feeling extra generous, maybe they can eliminate the cost of extracting item mods as well for subs or legacy 50. Just a thought, its the little things that count.
  9. I'm not sure if this has been thrown out there before, but I was thinking about how PVE group play (ops, fps) could be updated to include new ways complete them other than 4-8+ people beating up on one boss. It's a little lengthy so you could go to the bottom for a TLDR. So what I came up with was: What if you had an ops where the group split up to complete objectives that were dependent on what the rest of the group did? Think like the original star wars movie, where they split up and raided the Death Star An example would be a raid on an enemy ship or base. Say one of your factions operatives is captured, either by the opposing faction or a third party (Hutts, Dread Masters). The ops could be a raid on the enemy base to free the prisoner. Using an 8 person group, you could say you would need 3 people to remain outside and cause as much damage as possible to cause a distraction, 3 more people to cut the power to the prison cell and release the prisoner, and 2 people to take out the base commander or disable spacecraft to cover the escape. In this scenario, the outside group would need to cause a certain amount of damage/kill x amount of mobs before the power could be disabled and you cant bring the prisoner out of the base until the pursuit is disabled. In terms of loot each group could fight boss mobs that provide loot for the whole raid, or chests could be unlocked as objectives are met. Then before the escape is complete you could fight a traditional boss for the whole group. This is just one scenario, another could be to repel a base invasion, or to capture/assassinate a high value target. Each difficulty mode could be scaled, say with a timer. Objectives need to be met in a certain amount of time or the mobs enrage until the objectives are met. I'm a realist, I'm sure this is a tremendous pain to code and I'm not even sure if it would be possible. But if it is, I think this a great way to get a break from the traditional "8 people beat up on 1 Boss who has slightly better tricks than regular mobs" TL : DR: A new mode of Ops or Fps where the group splits up to complete objectives rather than sticking together and beating up on traditional boss encounters. I'm curious what other people think about this.
  10. Why would an option of watching the cutscenes with the same dialogue choices and replaying the missions be out? No need to change the dialogue, hard resets, or what not. Maybe make it like an instanced scenario accessible from your ship. Have a personal holocron you can access and select certain missions to replay if you wanted too, almost like accessing a journal. You can role play that you were "reminiscing" prior missions. This way you can replay the story without affecting your current characters status and choices. You wouldn't even need to make the entire story replayable, maybe just the instanced endings at each planet. For example, idc about running around tattooine chasing down leads on the planetary drum, but I would look back fondly on the time I defeated and converted Lord Praven. Or when I defeated the sand demon and saved Master Kiwiks. Running around Coruscant chasing down leads on Darth Angral's kid? No. Defeating him in the ruins of the Jedi Temple? Yes. You get the picture.
  11. Make individual dyes purchasable for subscribers directly at a cost of 150 CC and make them bop, leave the packs for F2P and Preferred. This way you put value back in the subscription and still have the options of buying packs, and buying packs and selling them on the GTN
  12. While I agree with parts of this somewhat, I think the underlying issue is that people feel they should of been able to pick out colors they want and pay for them directly with CC, not random dye packs. That's the nickel and dime part. Example - I get 550 CC a month. I can buy 2 packs. Don't get the one I want. I need to wait 30 days until I can try again or spend money on more CC for more packs for the chance that I get what I want? At least give subscribers the option to buy dyes directly from the CM, leave the packs for f2p and preferred. make it something like 200 for the pack and 150 for direct purchase. Put some value back in the subscription and still make money off the CM because people will buy dyes directly. Works for all.
  13. /signed, Ill agree with some of the concepts here. I wonder though, if something along the lines of the initial purchase could be bind on equip but unlocks the pieces in the collection and then any duplicates across your legacy are bind on legacy or bind on pickup so you cant sell them? Kind of the best of both worlds? Is that possible? This way you don't have to worry about duplicates flooding the market and you can still unlock individual pieces. Just an idea. I'm not too familiar with the system now to be honest, but that seems to address both concerns.
