  1. Former Conceal here, hybrid since first nerf. As Lethality - Med hybrid you should manage to stay alive against them or fight back. Use your flash bangs carefully, save them against mele classes. Use always your kolto probes (also stims), it's kinda essential, not just the regen, but the easy TAs. If you did not die after their stun lock, you already won. Check his/her resolve during the stun lock, your first skill after the stun lock ends is shield probe or stun/mez, depens on the resolve bar. Usually i start with debilitate, sometimes they use antistun, and actually that's the worst thing they can do, because the flash bang, so if they use the antistun use your flash bang on them, take your time make a coffe etc.. j/k. If they don't use antistun just run out of los. After the flash bang/los you need to heal yourself asap, pop ur power or crit relic, Kolto Injection + Kolto Fusion, refresh your kolto probe, crouch, explosive probe (important), corrosive dart, corrosive grenade, use ur adrenaline probe (depens on build and stims, maybee you have to use it earlier), try to use your cull asap, because some conceal will use toxic scan automatically, refresh corrosive dart after their toxic scan. Try to keep the distance (~10 meters) and slow them down constantly (corrosive grenade, sever tendon), learn to kite and you'll be fine, overload shot is your friend (cut down talent), use shiv when they are close, but he/she will die/try to escape faster than you think. Don't be afraid, most people here are conceals, old school rogues, so they don't even know what the **** is med - lethality hybrid lmao. Nice vid about some lethality basics btw:
  2. Lethality operative dmg is ok (overall). I tried the class two months ago w/ ~600 expertise, usually i did 450-500k dmg / match. The problem is the lack of burst dmg, lethality operatives just have no burst at all. You need Cull, also you need TAs... and there is only 1 skill for that (shiv), or a Kolto injection (if you have the Incisive Action talent 2/2), but healing just makes no sense when you try to kill someone FAST in a 1v1 battle. So pure lethality operative is not the best choice for pvp, because they have the worst TA management... ...still Lethality hybrids are nice (18/0/23 for example), you always have two TAs for Culls (Medical Engineering). You also have the aoe snare within 30 meters (Adhesive Corrosives), solid energy managment (Combat Stims + Lethal Purpose + Endorphin Rush). Those OP offhealers are kinda nice if you wanna win the match.
  3. Hero Engine ... Good for development, ( !!! very !!! ) bad for pvp.
  4. Just don't go that mad like a sociopath and you'll be fine.
  5. Med - lethality (18/0/23) here and im happy, kinda nice build for teamwork. I love the pure lethality also btw but "sometimes" need some heal burst to win the match.
  6. Class balance is "ok" compared to other MMOs imho. Personally, i think there is one class which needs a revamp on a class tree. But they have to do that very carefully. Because Sorcerer is kinda popular... l m a o.
  7. I won't protect swtor, but PVP posts like this: does not prove anything except that you know nothing about NCSOFTs pvp systems. So, lets see some Aion examples, shall we? 1, You can farm AP (PVP points to buy gears) in PVE instances. Yes, you can farm your gear in the damned Fort Instas, you don't have to kill ANYONE EVER to get the best PvP SET in the game. no comment. 2, A geared Templar (tank) can fight against a whole RAID and stay alive. You need to use two sklls for . zero skill involved only time till you get your shiny set. 3, A Chanter (buffer) within 30 meter range can stunlock ANYONE for 1 minute (until he run out of mana). 4 skills involved 4, A sin with light set (magic boost) and with the correct stigmas can oneshot ANYONE after every 30 mins, NO MATTER WHAT. zero skill involved only time. NCSOFT is the ultimate Carebaer Paradise, gear (time) > everything. Personally i think pvp is cons in every single NCSOFT game. Don't get me wrong, i was a big fan of GW1. Story is a BIG pro, i simply love every work of Jeff Grubb. I'll understand if you wanna play with gw 2, because the graphics, or the story, or the innovations. But seriously... NCSOFT pvp is totally gear oriented.
  8. The worst thing you can do is to talk about socialism with nerds and trolls in a mmo forum.
  9. Champ is t2 pvp, rakata is t3 pve, t2<t3 probleme is there. However... combine bm gear w/ rakata, get around 10% boost from expertise (current fashion).
  10. 1, Use the Annihilation spec (watchman or whatever for reps) 2, Check some guides, first you need to learn a good skill rotation, essential for MARAs /Sentinels 3, Do some pve and learn the rotations, you're gonna need key binds, because you have to use lot of skills, do it logically. (for example: your first opener skill is key 1. Second opener skill is key 2, etc. etc. def skills at somewhere else or use two keys for them, like most important def skill is Shift +1, sec. def skill is Shift +2, etc. etc) 4, Use mental timer for some skills f.e.: merciless slash (soz i know only this one for reps), mental timer is very important on dot skills! Without those skills you can't kill anyone, with your dots you can kill everyone. I know it's obvious for some ppl.
  11. Sorcerers not need to do serious dmg here, just support, throw some hots and dots, CCs.
  12. Sorc 20/ 0 /21 Jugg 0/ 13 /28 Sorc 20/ 0 /21 Jugg 0/ 13 /28
  13. There is like 100 - 100 BM+ in my server (both sides). Most of them got their titles in the last few weeks, including me. So stop this zerg stuff pls, only a few percent of ppl were affected. Your name is kinda familiar to me btw, lotro or warhammer?
  14. Took me four years to get rank 15 with my champion in lotro, and it really meant something for me. Now ... in swtor, you can forget these things, like pvp rank. It means nothing and will be worse after patch. Can't figure out what bw is doing with pvp, or what they want actually...
