Owen, Sorry about the India cracks I've worked in IT and Support for a few major ISPs .... Most of the tier ones are oversees mostly in India the PI and Central America. To be fair they're hit and miss and are all contractors working for a company contracted to support another companies products. Ya I checked my origin account as well nothing was touched but my SWTOR. It also changed my EA login on PS4 games. I spun all my passwords and changed email addresses any way just to be sure. I also changed my email on my account and spun the Password on the original email ... they all have at least 2 layers of authentication. mostly a security key or at least a text message authentication. This was either server side, an exploit, or I pissed some one off at support when I canceled (I was pretty nasty about canceling my account) By the way If you have a Twin brother I think we know each other.

But why am I explaining it to a troll like who doesn't think before he or she opens their pie hole. If I wanted to pull a fast one on my wife it's already done. My Credit card company hasn't even received the charges yet and I'm protected against fraudulent charges any way. I'm not paying for this ... I want my toons restored and if a support rep was involved or responsible I would like them to loose their job. So i all honesty other than the headache I'm sitting on a bunch of gear that hasn't been transferred yet and I have about $250 worth of premium cartel coin gear I'm not paying for. your welcome to your opinion but ... Nope my my account was set up for monthly payments I have both my paypal and one of my credit cards attached to my account for several years. I pay for my subscription threw papal, so all the perp had to do was change my preferred payment from Paypal to the credit card I had on record. I'm assuming they did this because you can't buy anything on paypal IN GAME from the CLIENT software. It is possible that EA defaults to one for my subscription and one for purchases and I happened to used my credit card the last time I purchased anything (Which I probably did) All they had to do was get into my account with a temporary password. They didn't need to change my password, or my E Mail (They did change the email) There was no way some one could do this even if they knew me personally without going threw EA support. Even if they did know me personally and had physical access to my computer and credit card. I have security questions that no one would know the answer to not even my wife ... and I have a security key that stays on me all the times. Even if I got fished or hacked or it was one of kids THEY STILL HAD TO HAVE THE SECURITY KEY and GET PAST THE SECURITY QUESTIONS. My kid have their own accounts they pay for and they have security keys. If I'm not mistaken if you have a security key on you're account you have to Go threw customer service to bypass the key otherwise your completely locked out. But than again why would even matter to you? ... Your not the one that got hacked if you think I'm full of crap why don't just close your pie hole and move on?

That may be true but the person ordered cartel coins on my account, that account is attached to my credit card. My credit card company isn't going to honor those charges, so I think I'm just going to have to wait till I can contact support in the AM. You have a few felonies that goes along with what this person did up to and including fraud. Right now I'm not so much worried as I am pissed. I want the person that did this to go to jail and I want to put a support rep in the unemployment line. More than likely they where given a temporary password and my security key was removed ... I get the feeling that let them into the account but they couldn't reset my password without knowing the original and/or the security answers. But they still had access to everything else including the email setting which they changed ... to e********@yahoo.com (that's all I could see on my end) EA should have the phone number of the person that called in, a recording of that call, and the email of the person that called. The servers have a record of everything the did and Support can easily roll everything back. Unfortunately Support is contracted out to call centers in third world countries 8( so EA probably can't fire the rep responsible.

They ordered about 250 bucks worth of cartel coins today. They managed to switch my payment information from paypal to my credit card. The funny thing is they never bothered to change my security questions or my password. They just changed the email and had Support remove my security key from the account. I have emails showings some one was trying to reset my password. My guess is they exploited an automated system or duped some one in support into giving some one a temp password. I have deleted both the card and paypall off of my account now and reported it to my credit card company who said no matter what I'm not liable for the fraudulent transactions. Unfortunately support for EA is closed today .. I guess Christmas is pretty good in India. About the IP ... it doesn't matter I'm technically dynamic and I have and I use 3 VPNs a work VPN (I'm an IT pro), a security VPN, and an anonymising VPN myself So my own IP may well be all over the place. It's a simple solution .... my Credit Card Company isn't going to pay. So that's that with the money. EA can reverse all the in game charges returning my account to 19166 Cartel Coins, They can also give me all my gear back and reset my character they way it was the LAST time I played (Sept I think). Than I can convert my Character to Free to play as soon as my current subscription runs out. Give out my goodies to my friends and guild ... build my guild back up (My kids run it) and go back to Aces High. I only play a few hours a month mostly for guild stuff and 2 of my Adult children play. I've been a loyal PAYING customer since early access. Again I have a complex password, My email and Phone numbers are attached to my account. I have 5 Security questions, and a FRACKING SECURITY KEY. Yet some talking ameba contacted customer support and got them to blow open my account and bypass all that security without so much as knowing what city I was born in. You know that's way to much BS to put up with from the likes of EA.

They probably spent the credits in game on transferable gear .... Sold the stuff for credits and sold the credits for cash. I've only been playing since beta.

Ya think that this may be part of the reason? I thought I lost my credits and gear in the server change (The name yes, but the credit and stuff no) I didn't realize what had happened until I notice I lost about 5K in cartel coins I've been saving as a subscriber since the introduced cartel coins. I'm canceling because support sucks ... obviously!

My account got just got hijacked this week .... Whats the point of having a **** load of security like Complex passwords, secondary contact info, security questions, and a security key .... When any old ******e can call up support and have them open up your account so they can steal all your **** bypassing security! Good God EA sucks!

What is the point of having all the account security. I have security questions. I have a security key. I have my home phone number attached to my account. Yet some one called into customer service and duped a support rep into opening my account so some one could steel most of my cartel coins (about 5K) and stole all my crap. I hope they didn't order anything off of my account. Real good job EA. You really are the weakest link ... No really your the reason my account got hacked!

To Whom it may concern, I beta tested this game (SWTOR), per-ordered, paid for expansion packs that became free, I've been playing since per-release and been a subscriber all the way. What do I get for being a loyal long term subscriber? I lost my name my gear and credits in a server change while I was in the hospital. I had really good names on the old server ... the only thing I could get was something like EAPokedMEGood. No way I could get a closer name to Mayhem or any normal name at all. I'm actually surprised I got what I could with all the Free to play players spammers and scammers on. I'm done I'm canceling my account because you simply suck, specially with customer service and I don't feel you care about Star Wars, this Game or your Customers. What you do care about is Money and that is what I wont be giving you any more. I hope you all go Bankrupt and Disney Takes Star Wars Away from EA. 8) Oh and merry Sithmass!

I disagree I think it fails on the fact that the more they try to fix the more they break each new Patch introduces more and more suckage while known bugs like CTDs go unfixed. IMHO Subscribers are getting screwed and F2P players aren't getting much better. Personally I think EA wants to kill this game.

Pre 1.3 = n/a this is unfinished beta product that was not yet ready for prime time therefore it cannot be scored. 1.3 = 6 1.4 = 4.5 due to stability issues and bugs the likes of beta being reintroduced into the game most likely due to a new shadow "optimization".

Umm FPs take the same "knowledge of encounter mechanics " as most ops. and lets be honest there is nothing here that you can't get from Darth hater or Youtube. "some people who do not want to do operations beyond a certain degree of difficulty, still think they are entitled to similar level gear" Umm some people can't as they can't get into a group to do them. I think I pointed this out People are leaving and guilds are dropping like fly's! Allot of people also have a problem kissing a 12 YO cellar dwelling megalomaniacs arse just to get in on a Denova HM.

Skill ? Your joking right? FPS, RTS, and CSF games are Skill based. RPMMO's Take very little skill, Gear based ones take even less. That being said ..... THIS IS A GEAR BASED GAME! it has next to no honest skill requirements. Even in PVP, which does requires a little bit of knowledge and skill, is still more dependent on gear. The only reason this game has any bit of a learning curve is because it does not include a players manual and at best has a piss poor online players guide. I don't feel very sympathetic to raiders, The hardest part to raiding is putting up with BS drama and kissing butt to stay on your raiding Team. If you haven't been paying attention as of late the player base making like a biblical exodus and leaving in droves and guilds are dropping like flies. if your not already on a raiding team your pretty much limited to Columi and BH Gear. It takes a weak or two to build up enough BH comms to get a single piece of gear Raiding is and always has been the easiest way to get gear. All Bioware has done is made it so I no longer have any reason to do EOT. Infact I can pretty much put the Black Hole at the bottom of my daily to do list. As it stands Ilum dailies have the best pay out. fallowed by Belsavis which unlike the black hole only requires one lengthy load screen rather then two and I can solo all the heroics. Lost Island ... no point in even attempting this POS Flashpoint. Denova SM I wont touch it past the tanks as there's no reason for it. Kaon ... unless it applies to my weakly (it probably doesn't as it didn't pre 1.4) I may as well exit it every time I get dropped in it from GF. Simply put all that being accomplished here is bio ware is taking away people's reasons to play. I may as well go back to an actual game that really is Skill based like a FPS or a MMOCFS like Aces High or Warbirds. These are games where some poorly equipped player can still hand you your arse simply because he is better (more skilled) then you.

Depending on why you left SWTOR you're probably not going to want to come back for 1.4. There really isn't enough here to save the game. PVP is still jacked, ranked warzones are FUBARed. PVP is underdeveloped with unrealized potential, that Bioware refuses to recognized in favor of playing wacka-mole with the nerf hammer in a sad attempt to maintain balance at the expense of PVE. A simple fix to some of the issues with PVP is remove grouping from regular warzones and add ranked warzones to Group finder just like an Operation. Mabey even toss in some RWZ comms as a bonus. This gets the big premades outa Regular Warzones and gets more players into Ranked Warzones. Crafting is near worthless for all but consumables. Most crafted Items are are completely outclassed by items purchased by comms. The Black hole weekly is now gone, Making End of Torvix completely useless, and Black Hole Comms that much harder to get. Face it, if your not in a raiding guild ... your gear progression is limited to Columi and Black hole. This game hasn't exactly been kind to guilds, heck it hasn't exactly be nice on players either with most making like Charlton Heston in the exodus. Guilds Drop like Flies due to players leaving the game and Bioware seems to be clueless when it comes to player retention, Heck bioware is completely out of touch with it's customer base. Lagacy with a few exceptions is a let down. It has very little effect on game play requires lots of in game money yet has very low level requirements. Most people that reach Legacy level 50 are greeted by a discouraging hollow feeling of not even getting a title out of it. I honestly don't think Bioware has fixed anything that has caused people to leave the game. I'm honestly considering leaving the game and I have been here since beta and pre release. Many of my friends and fellow players that have left, left to play Guild wars 2, all of them seem to love it and most say I would like it over SWTOR to. however SWTOR has left me once bitten twice shy and I'm more inclined to go back to Aces high.

I have a gigabit ether net prewired house with 9 computers. Each of my kids has a computer and we game allot. The sexual content and upcoming same sex relationships have me concerned. as a parent I do not feel it is appropriate for younger persons and I can not let my younger kids play. Outside of that issue I have no issue with my older kids (late teens) and I would also love to get my wife involved. I think what this game needs is a family account. For $25 set up $5-$10 extra a month per login you can have multiple log ins. only 1 character per login. The account must have a security key and all log ins must use the same key. This way I can play on my main or an alt and my wife and/or one or more of my kids can create and play an alt on my account at the same time. Bioware makes extra money, I get my family involved while keeping the game affordable.

Most of the High End gear is for birth control ... No self respecting sith is gunna get any in that gear. It looks like the rejected love child birthed from the mating of a dunce cap, a tribal grass skirt thing, and Martha Stuart's couch. Oh god what is that on my character's face ... It looks like a turkeys butt! Come one Bioware this is Star Wars make it look like it!

I find it funny they have made no attempt to fix the bugged Alderaan Willpower +3 and the Corellia Presence +4 datacrons which are not accessible for med large or bigger body types without some insane work around. They did manage to fix the one busted cron on Ilum but there was no way for them to double talk their way outa that one as the bug was in your face. But to make a Cron harder without fixing 2 known bugged crons is a little petty. I get the impression all Bioware/EA wants to do is take my 60 bucks plus $15/month and shove mindless Brain bashing PVP down my throat .... oh and they hate Fat people too. BTW Stuck command no longer works like it did for the Fleet +10 all stats datacron but you can still get it ... it will just take you more tries to get all 4 people to it.
