  1. People compare apples and oranges and complain their orange tastes nothing like the apple they wanted.
  2. Trooper > all Its so amazing it hurts.
  3. I disagree, levels 20-30 were very easy on my shadow, both PvE and PvP. At 30, I had nearly 8k hp, never died on tatooine doing any quest (including the heroic 2s), and have survived 1v2 PvP situations. Damage wise I feel a bit weak, but being tank specced that's somewhat expected. Either way, the combination of durability, sustainability, and sustained damage is strong at any level. Also, stealth > all.
  4. whinging sounds like an illicit activity.
  5. I've gotten random freezes since that patch early January. Course, now everyone else gets it with this patch. Here's to hoping this next patch fixes my issue with it.....
  6. Can't tell if serious or not. After looking at the name I'd have to say not.
  7. Currently at 32 on my tank spec Jedi shadow. Don't have all my starts currently, so I'll update this next time I log in. Health : 7800 Just got off Tatooine, so my mods are a bit behind level-wise >.<
  8. I may not be 50 yet, but my shadow is 32 and I can give a general impression of leveling. Soloing as a shadow is possibly the easiest of all the AC's. Reasoning behind this is the fact that as a tank, you can solo heroics (at least 2 mans) with just your healing companion. Also, stealth is amazing for soloing, as not only has it let me bypass unnecessary mobs, it has also served a very large purpose is open world PvP. As I've hinted at, I'm a level 32 shadow tank. I also have a 33 gunslinger and 33 trooper, but I love my shadow to high heaven. Just leaving tatooine at 32 sitting at 7.8k hp. I didn't die at all on tatooine, killed a good 10+ sith solo (not at the same time mind you, most was 2 at once). Its really just a fun advanced class. Flair-wise we aren't the best, but shadows have their role to play, and the force tells me to expect buffs to the areas we are lacking in.
  9. In response to this thread, I shall quote the npc outside the Tatooine space port. "If you have a problem with it, buy yourself a blaster, and take of it yourself" Off to fight 1v6 in the dune sea
  10. If the problem has gotten to the point where people are trying to bend the problem to the cause rather than the other way around, then really it isn't a problem at all.
  11. So let me get this straight... You were thinking of unsubscribing, and the fact that a browser bug is preventing you from unsubbing is whats pushed you over the edge to unsub? What kind of crazy freakin world do we live in today? Do people purposely look for meaningless things to complain about? People need to grow some skin.
  12. I had a 110k when I trained it on my trooper. Let me just tell you, if you do not have a speeder by the time you hit Tatooine, forget it. It honestly will be the closest thing to torture you will experience. I had a trooper in beta.... I rushed through nar shadaa........ Ever walk the dune sea on foot on a PvP server?
  13. I see these threads every time I come to the forums to look for topics I may enjoy. So what is the point of constantly bickering about subs when it has absolutely NOTHING to do with your own enjoyment of the game? Or are people just sheep waiting to move on to that "greener pasture". Because I don't want this thread to be a meaningless mini-rant, what do you guys think the game has contributed to the MMO market? Each game released leaves at least some mark on other MMOs. What do you hope to see from SW:TOR in newer MMOs?
  14. I'm starting to think the issue more lies in the fact that no reviewer is as merciless as a die-hard fanboi of another mmo looking for blood in the water. I heard they can smell someone unsubbing from a mile away.
  15. You know you play too much swtor when you don't like where the conversation is going with your loved one, and you look for the escape button.
