  1. I'd like to have an achievement weekend (or week event), where kill counts are doubled (similar to how rampage bonus works), or alternatively, have them purchasable in the Cartel Market or Cartel Store. Surely, I'm not the only one struggling to finish (grind) those 1000+ kill achievements!
  2. Actually, 1.2 is "allegedly" going to have a lot of stuff. I hate to be cynical.....but experience has been a harsh teacher.
  3. Which developer playtested this new UI Cooldown Effect and said, "Hey this is really good?!" Why does my entire ability bar (s) flash when I enable my speeder? I can only imagine what it's like as a Sith Warrior or Jedi Knight...ugh. What wrong with putting a number (that counts down) for abilites that are "cooling", and simply grey out those that are unavailable due to range or target? As a Jedi Sage, several of my power have a short recharge time and during a battle it is like: Flash / Scrolling Effect Flash / Scrolling Effect Flash / Scrolling Effect .... (You get the idea). Highly distracting, annoying, and hard on the eyes as they keep getting drawn away from the action on the screen to the UI bar!
  4. City of Heroes gave you the ability to color you individual powers. It was unfortunate though becuase most people had not color sense at all. You'd get 3 or 4 active buffs on you and you could not see!
  5. Easy fix...just add a toggle on the preferences screen!
  6. Sorry...I have a bunch of teen age kids that have no clue about the real world or life in general. So when they complain about stuff being unfair or not right I tell them to stop crying until they have to pay a mortgage, electric bill, or buy groceries. It's noting personal...it's just a reflex action.
  7. Can you please explain the lore about troopers/smugglers/agents, etc. using color crystals in their blasters/rifles/cannons?
  8. Just imagine if his favorite color was periwinkle!
  9. I don't understand (with todays technology) why my client (on my PC) can't show my lightsaber (or blaster bolts) any color I want, while everyone else's client show's colors as what you would expect (i.e. jedi with blue or sith with red). That way everyone would be happy! Everyone could have pink or mauve lightsabers while everyone else would see the standard color. That way you wouldn't have people crying because their client would only see the standard colors regardless of what any one's individual client is showing its own individual user.
  10. Havn't I read this post somewhere else? Oh I remember....just every MMO I've ever played. I guess there really isn't anything new under the sun.
  11. Agreed. As Death is part of the Force, as many Jedi has stated over and over not only in the movies, but books, games, etc.
  12. If you read the lore and backstory, they are not being mind controlled. Exposure to the hive alters brain chemistry and they become part of the hive. For a joiner, they and the hive are the same. Removing them from the hive would be like cutting off your own hand (from their perspective).
  13. Again, this is not about a moral choice. Do you embrace COMPASSION and UNDERSTANDING and allow the girl to stay where she is at peace with herself and surroundings or do you embrace FEAR and INTOLERANCE and threaten numerous beings with SUFFERING in an attempt to bend her to your will?
  14. Even this decision really has nothing to do with the "moral" choice. Since the Jedi eschew attachments, being romantically involved (as a Jedi) was frowned upon as it was against the code. After all, look what good it did for Anakin. His attachment not only to his mother and (eventually) wife led to a whole lot of people dying.
  15. Dark and Light Side points are not always about good vs. evil. They are more closely attuned to the emotion behind the decision. For example, the mission where you have to poison the slaves. Since you have no contol over their "ultimate fate", do you embrace COMPASSION (which equates to a quick and painless death) or do you embrace SUFFERING (which equates to a slow, lingering, and painful demise). The LIGHT/DARK choices are not always about the MORAL choice, but more often about the emotion behind the choice.
