  1. Checking the Skyrim forum and I see a few threads about graphical bugs in the rendering of fire. The difference between those issues and the ones raised on this forum are that the issues on the Skyrim forum are accepted as existing by everyone in the thread and promptly added to the patch list. On the tor forum issues aren't even consistent and users would rather blame each other.
  2. Please, do explain to me why you don't see these so called 'idiots who can't configure their rig properly' on any other games forum, yet there are hundreds of examples right here. It's not a coincidence that so many people with top end rigs, who are likely to be pretty tech savvy, are having fps issues with tor but not with any other high end graphics games. The only logical conclusion is that the odd one out (tor) must be the issue not the pc which manages to play all other games with no problems.
  3. Well then, how have I managed to put together and setup computers for nearly 10 years with no game (out of literately 100's) ever giving me problems until TOR. Why is it you can go to any recently released games forum and find no threads of this nature?
  4. Speaks volumes of your character and subsequent credibility... I hope in time you can realise that making overzealous remarks intended to demean an unknown entity is as ridiculous as those you attempt to berate.
  5. It is utterly ridiculous to see some people in this thread saying 'you just don't have your pc set up properly' to people with top end machines. People with high end rigs are usually pretty tech savvy, you don't think they would have the latest drivers, shut down unnecessary processes etc. I have a rig that should slaughter TOR, in the same manner that it does Skyrim, MW3, Assassins creed rev, Arkham city and Aion. Yet despite tor being the least graphically impressive in the list, it runs at the lowest frame rate. If you can't except that this is poor optimisation on Biowares part than you must be high on crack.
  6. It takes minor effort and resources to write some text, it takes a lot more to add voice acting. Voicing side quests was a tremendous waste of resources, that could have been spent more effectively in other areas of the game.
  7. I'm all for equality and providing options for players, but when does it end? Next thing you know you could have people asking for a companion in a wheelchair or a Hasidic Jew or any niche they can dream of. You can't cater to everyone and represent everything.
  8. I really don't understand why some people roll a female character, but then have a problem with romancing male characters. If you feel that you are so deeply emotionally invested in your character that romancing male characters makes you feel a little awkward inside, then perhaps you shouldn't have rolled a female in the first place.
  9. 2.2 ghz dual cpu ain't exactly "teh shizzle".
  10. When I quit wow, I stood in the middle of Orgrimmar trying to give my stuff away and people just told me to s.tfu. It's not as easy as you might think
  11. I saw a lvl 2 knight called Aankakin, which always perplexes me as to why someone would want to spell an existing characters name incorrectly and somehow think that it is an interesting or appropriate name. Not to mention the training saber wielding, flesh raider beating, newb was a far cry from the prospective lord of the Sith.
  12. I can't help but think that if BW had just voiced the main quests they could have dedicated more resources to other areas of the game that are currently lacking, yet the cinematic story telling aspect wouldn't really feel lessened.
