  1. Actually most PvPers hate bolster because it is an over complicated, buggy mess that breaks all over again when a new tier of gear is introduced. The PvPers that dominated before bolster (the few that are left) still dominate. Nothing has changed in that respect. They should have just made recruit gear closer to the standard PvP set, set up a vendor that sold it for 1 credit for each piece, and then made 2k expertise a requirement to queue for max level WZs.
  2. Just as I thought. On topic: I think the changes to jarring strikes are poorly thought out, in particular. Even with the previous buffs to concealment, it was not a ranked viable spec. Taking away the knockdown means concealment OPs are going to be at the mercy of ranged classes even during their opener, and I am skeptical that they will buff shield probe enough to make OPs able to stand with the rest of the melee specs.
  3. It is in fact a class balance issue that will affect both PvE and PvP. As stated in the OP, he posted it here because he felt this is the place his concerns are most likely to be noticed, and since it is SWTOR related General Discussion is a perfectly valid place for his post. I suspect you, on the other hand, have no interest in the OP, and are just here to troll and/or derail the thread. Just like many of the others who were posting earlier.
  4. It is a class balance issue that affects many classes.
  5. Because as you said this is General Discussion. Meaning you can discuss anything related to SWTOR here.
  6. Yes Ilum pissed off a lot of PvPers, but RWZs were the final straw for the majority that left early on.
  7. PvPers left because of the bait and switch with RWZs, and PvEers left because they had burned through the minimal end game content SWTOR had. It wasn't from the balance changes at that time. Edit: Although many of the balance changes since have driven people off.
  8. The closest this game has ever been to being called balanced was 1.2. Then Bioware listened to the scrubs whining on the forums and their "metrics." It has been a race to the bottom ever since.
  9. Only made it about 30 seconds in. For the love of science, re-bind your backpedal key.
  10. It isn't. Well there is a hybrid that uses PFT that is semi-useful, but specing deep into pyro is just as worthless in PvE. CGC dot dmg was cut in half, which was 30% of pyro's dmg in pve. Also, TD was worthless pre 2.0 for pve specs, and just got worse with the new TD. There is actually a 60 dps loss just using the new TD in pve.
  11. Why should he, or anyone for that matter? Every patch Bioware nerfs classes based on what the lowest common denominator is crying about. This community needs to shut up and realize they aren't nearly as good as they think they are, and Bioware needs to stop giving in to their whining demands.
