  1. /this I've got Legacy LvL 46 and it's totally worthless until I spend millions of credits. Credits that I don't have due to the fact that I'm running operations six days a week with my four chars at LvL 50. I've got no time left to farm credits.
  2. Exactly. BW needs to use their PTS more frequently and mirror existing characters from live to the PTS so that people can actually test the patches. That BW isn't doing this from the very beginning just shows their lack knowledge about MMOs in general.
  3. Matrix-Splitter und Würfel sind seit jeher Missions-Gegenstände... you fail at logic!
  5. Sorry to say, but I find Tiger Woods PGA Tour is actually a very nice game.
  6. Look at the Agents... they loose 72 points Cunning.
  7. Q&A at it's best... Seriously BW, you need to put every little thing on the PTS and have us have our characters on the PTS aswell, so we can show you early on what's wrong with your patches. This Matrix Cube-issue gotta be one of the worst failures so far you could've easily prevented with a good Q&A-team and testing. Until you fix this issue and give us our Matrix Cubes back we're basically left dead in the water not being able to do Operations... e.g. not being able to play the damn game.
  8. We need a fix within the next two or three hours or our Raids will not happen because of the missing Matrix Cubes. Just sayin...
  9. Having bought the CE day one it was available. And now after 4.5 month into the game I think I could've done witht the standard-version aswell... not going to resubscribe due to the total fail that was 1.2. Seriously guys and gals. SWTOR is not what it could've been. It's far from it actually and there's no indications whatsoever that BW/EA is changing anything drastically within the next few month. They simply don't listen to their customers and try to keep their investors happy instead, by offering with 30 days of free gametime for every player so that they can present bigger subscription-numbers on their next QFR. World-PvP is non-existant and they don't have any ideas about it to fix it. Basically they abandoned it alltogether as it looks like. Ranked warzones were trashed one day prior to 1.2 and they claim that we get 30 days because of that, when this isn't the truth. They just want to fix their QFR with that stunt as they see that only 30% of players are left and don't renewed their subscription. Sound-bugs, itmes from mails vanishing constantly, bugged quests, bugged flashpoints, wasteland servers, etc, etc, etc... the list is very long... too long actually. People can say what they want, but that doesn't make SWTOR any better then it is. Even the big forums like mmorpg.com are allready asking when SWTOR is going to be F2P and that shows. 1.5 month left until my sub runs out and I allready don't bother login in anymore as there's nothing to do in the game. 4 chars at LvL50 all Rakata/BH equipped... all in 4 month... what a waste of my money.
  10. To those laughing about my statement about energy-reg problems with MM... Let me tell you something. I'm playing since beta and I've tried every damn spec for Snipers so far. MM is good for burst-damage in PvP or for Bursting adds in OPs etc, but it isn't viable for 6 minute boss-fights as the energy-regen doesn't cut it for this extended fights. With Lethality tho, you have 50+% Crit for your DoTs regging 2 energy when critical and they do crit alot. Also notice, that the additional damage done by Cull also procs the energy-regen for critical DoTs, so you'll never run out of energy, even if you're spending 70 energy on your first three skills (CG -> CD -> Cull). And those speaking about PvP... you're ruining the game for us PvE-players, so ****.
  11. It doesn't matter in the laughably easy Ops, but my Sorc easily out-DPS my Sniper and even my Merc is doing allmost the same DPS as my Sniper. I'm just comparing characters I play myself, and my Sniper is the most useless DD in an operation, especially when skilled as MM.
  12. Show me Snipers that deal 1500 DPS in an operation pretty please. With fully remodeled Rakata (820 bonus damage, 98% Accuracy, 34% Crit, 76% Surge) and Lethality-spec I'm doing something between 1200-1300 on bosses. With Marksmanship I'm doing even less due to the energy-problems.
  13. Yeah, that's what I'm doing actually, if you read carefully. The whole question is: Why does the Sniper less damage then the Sorc and only very little more then the Merc? Snipers should do more DPS then Sorc and Merc, due to their unability to do anything else.
  14. Useless buff is useless... Marksman is not viable for PvE-operations due to their bad energy-regen and Lethality-Snipers are still 100-150 DPS behind Sorcs in raids. If anything they need to buff Cull, Weakening Blast and Corrosive Grenade.
  15. Best DPS in operations is coming from Marauders or Sorcs. Simply forget about the others, they're not worth it currently. More power to the force-users...
  16. My full Rakata geared Sniper (820 Bonus Damage, 100% Acc, 35% Crit, 76% Surge) is doing less DPS then my Sorc with the same stats. So yeah, we're not actually caring about Snipers in our Raids, as they don't have anything useful to offer like B-Rez, healing, etc.
  17. Play all of the classes yourself and come again.
  18. Thank you for the first good response. To the others. Damage-logs and all that stuff don't show anything actually, as they don't show your rotations or how good you do your rotations, that's why I'm not posting any and simply compare the raw damage-numbers. If you want, you can use a calculator and calculate the optimal DPS for the classes and then you'll end up with pretty much the same numbers I've posted +-10%. Even before the damage-logs I've used tools to calculate damage and they're allmost 100% accurate to the now available damage-logs. So, we're not talking player-skills etc here, but raw numbers and they simply are totally screwed up between the classes. Like the person above stated, then every DD should do the same amount, with a little more DPS for the melees ofc, but not 30+%.
  19. Did you notice the little [PvE]? I'm not doing any PvP at all, so stop QQing maybe yourself. Posting logs isn't necessary, you just have to do a 5 minute fight against the boss dummy yourself with all the classes. Raid-numbers don't count due to buffs and debuffs from other players etc. In a raid I do more damage with a Sniper or Merc and less with a Maro, that's not what I'm talking about tho.
  20. There's so much fail in reading comprehension in here.... Again. I play all the mentioned classes (Sniper, Sorc, Merc, Maro, Assa, Operative). I compare the damage between my characters, which are all Columi/Rakata equipped. I've thrown out any speed or unnecessary accuracy and all my DPS-chars (Maro, Sorc, Merc, Sniper) have 98% Accuracy (bar the Sorc, that doesn't need any accuracy) 30-35% Crit, 75-77% Surge and 800-820 bonus damage. Specced as follows... Sorc = Madness, Sniper = Lethality, Maro = Annihilation, and Merc = Arsenal with the according rotations used. Now, as I play all these chars myself, comparing all of them with my skills and the same equipment-level and stats, there's nothing to discuss really. The numbers speak for themselves, tested on the boss dummy. Please start leveling all these classes yourself and play them before you start ************ about my thread, because those of you who don't play all the classes don't have anything of value to say imho.
  21. I don't need to link any specs or combat-logs. Everyone can try the mentioned classes himself with the cookie-cutter-setups and see for himself that my given numbers are valid. For rotations and all the specs etc, you can go read the several forums to find out what cookie-cutter-setups are being used. Additionally, it's only those of you who are requesting numbers, who don't play all them classes themselves and to those of you I'm not even talking as you can't compare them yourself. You just like to ramble and I'm not responding to that.
  22. Hello there. To begin with, I have all classes at LvL 50 and they're all Columi/Rakata equipped. I play a Merc, a Sniper, a Sorc and a Maro as DD in addition to my Assa-tank and Operative-Heal... yes I've got alot of time to play apparently Now, that we can finally study the combat-logs all my previous calculations are backed up with hard evidence. Given equal equipment it goes like this... Maro (Annihilation) 1800 DPS, Sorc (Madness) 1350 DPS, Sniper (Lethality) 1200 DPS, Merc (Arsenal) 1150 DPS. All tested fully buffed against the Boss-dummy. I've tested hybrid-specs for the Sniper and Sorc, but there isn't much change and rotations are not as easy, so why not play it simple. The Merc deals a little more DPS in Pyrotech, but you run into heat-problems faster so it's not worth it either. So, what should I say.... The Maro deal s the most damage, which is all nice and dandy given that it is a melee DD. What isn't right tho is, that the Sniper isn't in hte second place easily outdamaging the Sorc and the Merc. Why you ask... well, the Sniper isn't a hybrid-class, doesn't have any healing-abilities etc... it's a pure DPS-class without any support-skills, just like the Marauder. The Sniper should be somewhere at 1500 DPS currently to outmatch the hybrid-classes, or the Sorc and Merc should deal less damage then the current 1200 DPS of the Sniper. It's just not right the way it is currently. Snipers need more sustained DPS and Sorcs should've a little less aswell as Marauders are way overtuned currently. The numbers should go... Maro 1600 DPS, Sniper 1400 DPS, Sorc/Merc 1200DPS. Make the pure DPS-classes do the most damage and place them hybrid-classes way behind them, where they belong, due to their support-abilities allready being an advantage. As we've now got all buffs in the raids without needing Agents or Bounty Hunters, we decided to simply go with only Inquisitors (1x Assa-tank, 2x Sorc-heal, 2x Sorc-DD) and Warriors (1x Jugg-offtank, 2x Maro), as this setup has the most DPS and the best group-heal, even if we don't have the 20% armor-debuff from the Sniper. Mercs aren't needed anyways from now on, as their armor-debuff only counts for themselves since the most recent patch. So yeah... fix this imbalance.
  23. Hello there. I'm reading, that you're going to do the next maintenance without resetting the game-servers again. Don't you people know, that the performance of your databanks and cache decreases all the time if you don't do that? The game get's laggier from day to day and not resetting the whole thing results in OPs being a horrible experience. So please. Reset the damn servers regularily, preferably once a day for half an hour to make the game running more smoothly. Thank you.
  24. Funny how many people just pass it on to the tanks being bad... You people don't know jack apparently. The tanks can't hold aggro against the DDs if there's more then one mob, period! A Sniper who casts orbital strike or a Merc casting death from above will easily pull the aggro from the tank in trash-mob-groups. And yes, I play it all... Assassin-Tank, Sniper DD, and Merc healer. I knwo all of the mechanics and they're totally bollocks. Look at your aggro-reset for example. The Aggro-reset doesn't work, due to BW having coded it to only reduce 0.25% of your aggro instead of 25%. Then there's the mechanic that melee-range needs 110% damage to steal aggro and range 130% from the tank. The tanks simply can't built up that much aggro due to their DPS lacking. The tank-form should've 100% more aggro instead of only 50% due to this issue. Try pulling the aggro from a well equipped tank-companion... companions have 100% aggro-increase and you'll notice this heavily. Boss-tanking is no problem, if you spot the boss every damn 15 seconds, but everything else is not doable. The Powertech-tanks do better than Assassins and Juggers with AoE-aggro, but even they'll loose aggro fast to a Sniper or Merc spamming their AoE-damage. So yeah OP, you'll see alot of aggro as a healer, especially if you're a Merc-healer applying the Kolto Shell before the tank pulls the trash, you'll have instant aggro in that case. The only way to solve the issue with aggro is to CC everything possible and have the smallest amount of mobs the tank needs to deal with.
  25. Do you eat meat? If yes then you are disqualified to talk like that.
