  1. Perhaps, it would have been better had BioWare just left the system in place and not inconvenienced players with another one of their mistakes. The 5.4 patch in August could have fixed the problem without jacking up yet another part of the game for players - what's one more month after years of having the broken system. Purchasing the CM crystals with actual (as in real life) cash makes this a priority for many people. Being facetious and condescending toward others who are (rightly or wrongly) upset or frustrated about this situation, which is one of countless other problems with this game, does not lend itself well to constructive discussions. I can definitely understand why people would be upset and frustrated with this situation. I find it irritating as crap that I had to craft crystals (ones that I didn't actually want in my LEGACY weapons) to compensate for poor decisions and actions from BioWare, again.
  2. So, the Devs don't want people playing Sages/Sorcs at all? I don't understand. The DPS specs suck, so healing was the only thing a Sage/Sorc could do. Now, they won't even be viable healers...I...wow....just, wow.
  3. Oh, great. Now my OCD is acting up, again. I can already feel the shakes coming on. Why, BW, why?! Why do this? I just don't understand it. Please put my achievement back as 100%. I really had to work for this one.
  4. A "proc" is basically a 'procedure' or 'process' that occurs when an ability or item (e.g., a relic) is triggered by a certain event or events that activate whatever it is supposed to do (i.e., increase stats like mastery, power, critical chance, etc.).
  5. There is the problem with "...just run the flashpoint in [solo Mode]" when not all flashpoints have a solo mode available. For whatever reason BW felt it necessary to have some flashpoints still require groups to complete it. So, if you have a player in the group that wants to watch the cutscenes, and it happens to be a flashpoint without a solo mode, then it seems a bit unfair - not to mention rude - to force that player to spacebar through them. As a longtime player who has run through every flashpoint many times, I get a bit annoyed with the person wanting to watch the cutscenes. But, I'm certainly not going to force that person to spacebar or vote kick them, if that person doesn't spacebar. I'll just watch them for the umpteenth time and move on, or just drop group and find another one.
  6. It would be a bit unusual for it to be mandatory before the xpac drops. Those that get Legend status after the xpac wouldn't get the same benefits for obtaining the same achievement. I very seriously doubt you'll need to complete everything before the xpac goes live.
  7. It is a little weird how the Devs are handling obtaining Nico. But, however you choose to recruit him in-game, being a subscriber during the time period specified, should be the only way to obtain him.
  8. Agreed. Just seems to be individual, pre-conceived bias about a system they haven't even tried, yet.
  9. Let's not be too hasty...I like having that option as part of opening a cantina pack.
  10. Here's another code: http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/7nq77
  11. I got the Monolithic quest to work by relogging in the instance. I had to go to the doorway after relogging, then fight the Monolith. Once I did the first convo with Lana, the beast disappeared. Then, I went to the doorway again, relogged and the beast returned and finally finished the quest. I then got stuck in place after the last convo with Lana, and used the Shuttle Pass to leave. This was a frustrating quest to finish.
  12. Here's another code, just in case others are expiring: http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/7nq74
  13. These nerfs are total crap...I'm not even surviving like I did pre-1.3.
  14. I mentioned this about a month ago and was told to stop complaining. It's ridiculous, but until BW fixes it, we all have to deal with it.

    Amazing

LOL...putting an "e" in the word changes its meaning. I believe you mean to say, "pubs."
  16. Check out this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=448263 All of us have missing Matrix Cubes. I didn't log in to my character until just recently and discovered mine was gone.
  17. It loops around Hoth? I didn't know it made a circuit. I thought it stayed pretty much in the Clabburn Hills area and reapawned there after being defeated.
  18. What is the respawn time for this probe? I waited for a very long time for it to show up and nothing. It's the last datacron I need to get to have all of them for my main character. It seems a bit pointless that BW has you wait for this probe. Afterall, you have to fight it in order to get the depleted datacron, then you have to go to the other side of the map to charge it before you can use it. It just seem like a big waste of time to wait for this thing to respawn. Anyway, I'm done complaining. I just really want to know what the respawn time is for it.
  19. I've considered that, but she wants to do it herself. Besides, I'm curious to know if this has happened to anyone else, or if it was just an unfortunate occurrence at a bad time.
  20. LOL...That's not quite what I meant.
  21. So, my wife was working here way around to the ledge in the Starship Graveyard to get the Endurance Datacron that's sitting there. I had just gotten it and was waiting for her. I decide to go over and look at here screen as she's about to make the jump up to get to the top of the ice outcrop steps that are next to the ledge where the datacron is, and something weird happened. When she made the jump up to the last step of the ice outcrop to make here way down to the ledge where the datacron is, her character seemed to just hang in the air for a moment, then the SWToR page popped up on the screen, and she was sent back to the beginning of the trek to the datacron. I was thinking, "what the heck just happened?" She looked at me, I looked at her, and we were both a bit surprised. This was here second attempt at getting this datacron as she missed a jump the first time and fell. Needless to say she was seriously ticked off; so much so that she immediately QT'd to the cantina on Hoth and quit the game. Has this happened to anyone else while doing something with your character?
  22. I have to agree. My wife and I both play a Merc, and we both are tired of the npc's being thrown out of the radius of hits. It completely negates it's strength. DfA needs to be fixed quickly.
  23. Thanks, Revelationjp, for the ideas. I used doofer's idea from above, and I took out the beast pretty easily after logging out and logging back in. As I said in an earlier post, I think it was just a bug or something that popped up when I went into the instance.
