I had to do the same thing. Also, keep in mind the only datacrons that are listed in your legacy are the stat-boosting ones. The matrix shard datacrons are still out there, they just aren't unlocked account-wide.
You may be happy to hear that several people were directing folks to both your forum post and website on my server (Master Zhar Lestin) last night. Thanks for putting all of this together.
Not sure if this is a bug or if I'm just missing something, so I figured I'd ask here before submitting a ticket. Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere or if this is a known issue. I admit I only poked around the forums a short while before posting this.
I've recently reached Dark Side 1. Through preferences, I've set the option to show Dark Side appearance changes on my character. It works fine in-game (my Rattataki's eyes have changed from light blue to an orange/red) but when I am on the character select screen the changes do not display (eyes are back to light blue).
Anyone else have this issue or am I just missing a preference specifically for the character select screen?
Have to agree with the "fortunate" folk. The idea of the legacy system is to (eventually) grants bonuses to players going through the game an additional time. If you really don't like your surname then you can always start over on another server.
As long as the gear matches the companion's skills (ie: light armor, medium armor, or heavy armor) they can wear it. Not sure about the later planets, but every one I've been to has vendors for each armor type and a weapons vendor.
I'd check your credit if I were you. If you get billed and your card is declined, the bill doesn't just disappear. Eventually the bill will be put into collection.
Nope, there are gear and weapons in the game that require certain levels of Light or Dark to use. You can also find gear and weapons that require you to be neither Light nor Dark to use.
I've been trying to figure this out for myself so I'll see if I can get that to work. I'm playing on a Mac so I'll have to figure out what the equivalent to the PrintScreen button is on an Apple keyboard.
Yea, can't change the base looks of your character after you finalize. If you don't want to re-level again, maybe you should consider trying another class for awhile. That way when you go back to your original class it won't feel so repetitive.
