Ops were insanely Over powered when the game was first launched, I think the out cry was so loud from the whining masses that they got the nerf bat grand slam. like the Sorc healers in 1.2 Operative where crush in some people opinions to unplayable inferiority, my Op has been a healer since I made her an operative so I can't personally comment on the DPS side of the nerf, how ever on the healing side of the nerf, i've seen a single op/scoundrel healer take on several people. <not me of course I'm not that great when it comes to pvp. >that just shouldn't be allowed to happen. a Scoundrel healer I know, doesn't seem to be having any real issue in 1.3. so I really don't know what to tell you, Adapt like someone earlier posted.

  3. as one person stated it's a step in the right direction, but there really no way to judge who to get credit to for someone like mentions stunning three people so a door can be bombed... I think the way it is fine. I usually end up being that one person stuck at a turret, even on my healer which is infuriating because lets face it YOU ARE needed where the fight is. But at the risk of sounding arrogant about it... a lot of games end up being if I DON'T go cap the turret it doesn't get capped..... because quite often I end up being the ONLY person to go for it... which ends terribly if the other teams sends 2 or more people to intercept, so yes I think the defender points are fine the way it is. in reference to people who just "go to collect defender points on a lossing game" really no different then people who bail out on a game early because it's not going to be an easy win. BUT it frees me up to at least go charge the enemy hopeless yelling RAWR !!!!! or something. in spome people defense on those games where you're just being hopelessly slaughtered can you really blame people for being demoralized and just wanting to sit at a turret .... some premades can get that way and it's no fun in the end anyway.
  4. ^ my point OP is that each class has it's role to play that complements the others, Ops have more on the move heals then the other two, Mercs can boost healing and defense, and Sorc just heal, people fall into the mentality that if one class out shines the others why both having the others, give it a rest, I haven't done any raids but what I said was 30% spammable surgical probe helps tide over till someone else can get the big heal off if no one else can get it then oh well, but what ever continue your nerd rage, talking to rocks and all
  5. Bioware made the mistake of shutting down their server to perform fix's during EU prime time and they nerd raged about it as if it was the first an only MMO to do such a thing
  6. Don't see the problem, Sages heal a lot I get it, where does it say a Op and a sage have to be on equal footing in every situation? I play an Op healer I play a Merc healer and I play a Sorc healer all lvl 50 all in champ gear, I notice the differences in each class, and I've seen plenty of others playing the classes, I've seen Ops topping the healing I've seen Mercs top healing, never anywhere close to a sage/sorc that focus' mainly on healing but it doesn't raelly matter. each class has it's own play style, I won't deny that Sorc for me is the easiest to heal with in PvP and PvE, but the Merc does things a Sorc can't, kolto shell, Kolto missle <residue that increases ALL healing recieved> super charge gas, nice boost to a lot of healing abilities, damage reduction shield, spammable healing scan... Op does things a Sorc can't Do, and imo has the most On the move healing abilities, any Op who knows what they're doing can manage Energy fairly well Kolto probes heal everyone you get 2 on for 1k crit ticks over 18 secs? ever person that ticks has a chance for tact proc, for a spammable surgical probe, the <30% mechanic for a free spamable Surgical probe which DOES do a decent enough about of healing to keep your target up, I've saved many people by spamming 30% friendly with surgical probe keeping him alive long enough for someone else to hit him with a bigger heal. Stop crying about every little detail with your BS stupid number crunching it's pretty easy to figure out Energy. and in response to Georgs post. or more so the reaction to his post. get over yourselves if you read half the bull coming from the intolerant horde of gamers who can't be patient for crap bad mouthing and trashing what I've created or helped create I'd be a little annoyed too, little news flash for you guys the customer ISN'T always right and sometimes the costumer needs here it

I skipped the last two pages so not sure if this was brought up... those of us BH who have know the joy of Playing with our beloved Blizz, know he zip lines opposite from everyone else, instead of charging to you targets how bout a zip line like blizz? already have harpoon or grapple what ever it is, so it does kinda fit .... of course a fat trooper ziping to a little skinny agent would be kinda weird but hey so is running on air
  8. I've PvPed on my Sorc from day one with my PvE heals spec..... if you want to PVE and PvP you're going to have to bite the bullet and respec or go full DPS or Full heal spec

  10. I was going to say increasing the sniper/gunslingers range to 45m is pretty fking stupid.... but then again ...... Sniper...... ...... yeah ...... for the most part good ideas don't think snipe needs a cast time reduction though
  11. Disagree... the expertise on the cent gear does improve survivability I last longer against the same people that melted me prior to gearing up. I'm almost fully cent and it's definatly making a difference...
  12. Agreed. this stuff is already broken..... it was fixed the new 50's have to work off the imho better system, which is what most new 50's seem to be crying about ..... I have to ask ..... do you people want it fixed? .... before or after you got your gear? just wondering
  13. just hit 50 on my Merc yesterday, went right into PvP..... and I honestly get what the issue is ..... yeah I got killed 9 times, but I was up and out doing my job right away, Battlemaster Bob would at me trying to kill me, I used one ability after another to slow him down so I could continue keeping my team up before I died.... thats the nature of PvP it's not that bad... already have a like 4 pvp pieces<implants and the like> already seeing the difference. if you can't handle it go back to mining asteroids..... wait wrong game
  14. it's not ideal but's better then it was, considering the champ bags now give 15 cent AND 7 champ comms, pretty sure I read that right..... so the argument of omg make the RNG worse !!!! now i can't finish my champ set out OMG angst !!! 7 champ comm in the cent bags.... Champion bags now always contain 15 Centurion Commendations and 7 Champion Commendations, and the chance to obtain a direct trade item token has been reduced. Battlemaster bags now always contain 15 Champion Commendations. You know what sounds A LOT better then crossing my fingers and toes for a champ token I most likely already have. They didn't increase the cost of champ gear you can now fill those gaps you're missing easier w/o vendoring the same belt 8 times, crappy centurion comms? uh gear out your companions ? if not yourself? Cent gear is still better then 49 blues, OMG people have to do some actual grinding for their gear.... it's the end of the MMO world as we know it....... Damn you Blizzard for setting the token gear precedent! I was expecting ..... the moment .....the second..... the instant ! I hit lvl 50 ..... that my Mail box would light up..... and the magic loot fairly would would deliver onto me my full Champion set !!!! but alas........ my disappointment .....
  15. understandable that winning such a fight would involve 2 classes of fairly equal capability. or 2 people who know what they're doing who can CC the healer long enough to burst either the healer down, or the Tank down, I would find it hard to believe no one else has seen such a thing play out, apart from cool downs that tank has no way of mitigating damage to himself apart from the Defense stat, shield stat depending on the class that's shooting you, the usual tactic I see to counter the healer tank combo is burst down the tank, as his taunts and guard only work on others. a healer can reasonably keep up with a tank being focused by 2-3 people, so proper control of the healer is required to win the battle. it's not an unbeatable situation.
