  1. One can only hope that Lana will have a variety of companion customization kits. Her default appearance looks like a barbie doll got attacked by a yellow marker. As for OP's question. All we know from Bioware interviews is that old companions will return and that we will have tough choices that could ultimately determine if they continue following you or not. As for which companions are returning? An educated guess would be: whoever came back to record more VO lines. It's highly likely the companions who had VO in Shadow of Revan will be back. (Vette, Quinn, Kira, Doc, etc etc). It might not have been a lot of lines, but it proves that the actors are still getting work from Bioware.
  2. I'm so surprised this thread is still alive. In case a few of you missed my post.. uhh.. 20 pages ago, This is straight from Hall Hood from a question I asked via Twitter two years ago: https://twitter.com/hallhood/status/297445457888702465 It's not the answer that many people in this thread wanted, but it's an official response. Jaesa-Light may not be romanceable, but you can convince her to sleep with you (if that's what you're after). The dialogue option will come up during the final conversation with Jaesa. In order to get this, you can not /flirt with Vette whatsoever. A single [flirt] with Vette progresses Vette's romance and disregards this dialogue choice with Jaesa. See a video I posted here: As stated already, I asked @HallHood over two years ago. KotFE probably wasn't even an idea at that time. What we know is that companions and story are back in the forefront of Bioware's agenda. Who knows if Rachael Leigh Cook returns to reprise her role as Jaesa. If she does, she could gets tasked with knocking out a bunch of light side romance lines along with everything else. *shrug*
  3. It comes down to this: Grallmate represents the knowledge and interests of the Guardian tanks. AndrewPast represents the knowledge and interests of the Guardian DPSers and PvPers. I'm sure both would be able to provide adequate focus to the skill trees they're less vocal about. However, you are right about AndrewPast and his role in the vigilance 15% buff. That can't be forgotten.
  4. Bioware had to know what they were getting into when they started signing on big voice actors to be companions for a continued project. If they didn't make some sort of contract to come back when there is a legitimate batch of lines, then I pity Bioware's foresight. So far, all we've seen, that were "new", were banters around Makeb. And for all we know, those banters were most likely recorded prior to launch. (The devs, no longer with Bioware, have stated that the Makeb project was in works before release.) What I'm implying is that I don't believe the actors and actresses of our companions have been called back at any time after release. It's a sad thought, but there it is. What we need is some sort of implementation that makes companions a big feature again. I remember the hype from Roleplaying fans when companions were announced for SW:TOR. We need that spark again. My PvPing and Raiding guildmembers admit that they grow further and further apart. They might as well be statues accompanying the other decorations of the star ships. I have to believe that Bioware does not approve. Make us want to connect with our companions again, whether it be gameplay, story, or quality of life.
  5. In order to get all 8 class legacy unlocks and the maximum companion legacy presence bonus (400+), I still need the Consular, Smuggler, and Trooper. I plan to level a Jedi Shadow this weekend.
  6. Once you get your healing companion as a Marauder, it will be very tough to replace him with anyone else... regardless of how good Jaesa looks in her slave bikini
  7. I regret (Inquisitor Story Spoilers below):
  8. Warzone Arenas... ?? **gets all tingly inside** Could be arenas like.. huttball arenas, or could be ARENAS (2v2, 3v3)! Either would be welcome.
  9. I have mixed feelings about mobs with long spawn times being the subjects to the bounty system. I foresee a lot of camping. As for the idea of bounty missions, there's an event coming in August, which will address your itchy trigger for finding bounties around the galaxy.
  10. David Hayter's Jedi Knight Male is pretty close to his actual voice. And yes, his face is pretty recognizable. He's done a lot in Hollywood. Euan Morton is a tough one though. Can you imagine that raspy evil imperial voice coming from a young stage actor?
  11. Definitely Kira. I find forbidden romance to be the most entertaining. Not only that, but she's one of the only romance companions who have a dramatic impact to the overall class story.
  12. Just a forewarning, I have a sob story incoming. I met this beautiful padawan named Kira. Together we were everything. Food tasted better, the air smelled better.. everything was great. We had ups and downs.. and lots of Sith trying to kill us. But we persevered as a couple and finally wed, against the Council's rules. Shortly after the wedding, we travelled to Voss for a side mission and then talked about children. Everything was great. I woke up the next morning and she had nothing else to say. This went on for several days. 'Did I do something wrong?' I thought. She is quite persistent at this silent treatment. I confronted her and asked, "Kira! What's wrong, baby?" She looked at me and said "Don't mind me..." Confused I said, "Huh!?" She replied with, "If you mashed Hoth together with Tatooine, would it make a decent planet with nice weather?" Horrified, I thought to myself, 'Didn't she say that when we arrived on Hoth so long ago? Why is she saying things she's already said?' Finally, I questioned her with a "What's happening, Kira? Are you alright?" Without missing a beat, she said "Don't mind me..." Didn't she just say that a few minutes ago...? What's going on!?? I am saddened that my beautiful and talkative wife has completely done a 180 and decided to stop saying anything new at all. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go meditate. It's not safe to have such worries emanating inside me.
  13. As an inquisitor, Xalek is a no brainer. Sith are taught to believe that in order to excel up the ranks, you must eclipse your master. The fact that he's the closest to my captain's quarters just makes it even more ominous. As a Sith Warrior, Quinn. You only have to betray once to be branded a betrayer for the rest of your life. As a Jedi Knight, I trust Scourge the least... but I also respect him more than Doc and Rusk. So even though he does pose a threat, he seems pretty intent on observing the progression of my legacy while he's still around. I suspect that he''s waiting to kidnap my first born child and groom them to the dark side.. Kira and I are pretty alert about this.
