  1. I always thought the solution would just be to have the BoP or the biochem requirement lifted, but this is sort of elegant. I would prefer that the period was longer than 2 - 3 days from first use (assuming real-time whether playing or not.)
  2. biochem has the best medpacs, stims and adrenals, all requiring one of these bad boys, and all BoP when crafted. Woot for not making sense.
  3. sorry, i was responding to the jawa. and as of right now, there is nothing, and i dont know of what is planned to change. If anything, they should make them BoE and not BoP to balance it out for everyone. but as of right now, i dont think there is anything stopping you from making what you want from one skill, unlearning it, getting the second skill up to 400, and then making the reusable items there.
  4. No, they do not need a requirement, like other reusable medpacs gotten from RE. They are just bind on pickup, effectively placing the same limitation on it. Doesnt make any sense in my opinion, considering that there is no equivalent craftable medpac consumable to "balance" it.
  5. Its pretty simple, just make the endgame items, like tionese implants and rakata medpacs non-BOP. Biochem can make money, and everyone can get them. simple fix.
  6. I completely agree that this is nonsense. Specifically, the schematic for implants that are dropped by hard modes, like "tionese blah blah blah" are bind on pickup. This means that crating for endgame is completely useless for the economy. thanks Schubert.
  7. Not that I disagree that this would be cool, but this is not a simple undertaking. This is expansion-like material. 1) adding another class means a overhaul of the planets, orbital stations, hell, even the fleets. It also means writing and another story, which is quite a doozy because of voice acting, and refactoring class balance, and then inter-class animations. Do we really need this right now with the state the game is in? 2) Total Melee-hate, as well. If something like this is going to come, wait for and expansion down the line.
  8. First off, those reusable medpacs, adrenals and stims have no market value, because only people with leveled up biochem can use them. Second. the answer is yes, because People will want the rare orange clothes that only crafters can make with very rare schematics.
  9. Okay, now am I and the other people who posted here just unlucky? or is that rate bugged for diplomacy?
  10. I am not saying 1 in 6 is reasonable for a crit, because its not. but 1 in 50? if I was to set my prices based on those odds, the level 1 reusable med pack (which people want, btw) would be around. 3k. How is that reasonable? Also good to see that I am not the only one (or is it?)
  11. I think I messed up, but there is also a miscommunication here. Here is the color code - What are you calling legendary/relic? Purple?
  12. My main crafter is a Biotech/bioanalysis/diplomacy. As you may/may not know, the epic first tier items require an Alien Blood Sample. This appears to be a random result of first tier diplomacy missions, with the rate affected by your diplomacy level. However, I am around 60 in diplomacy (just been sinking my money into it) and across the dozens of Moderate, Abundant and Bountiful yield Level 1 Medical supply missions I have only aquired 4 Alien Blood Sample, from a single mission, and about 200 Biochemical Bonding Agents. When I was in beta, the rate was not this horrendous (maybe 1 in 6, not 1 in 50). Am I just unlucky, or has something changed? Or am I doing something wrong? I am also curious to see if this is just a Diplomacy issue. Anyone got any info for me?
  13. Unless I'm wrong, you can only craft up to epic (purple) such as the reusable med packs and stims. Legendary are raid drops, or disassembled.
  14. My issue with diplomacy right now is that I have spent thousands on tier 1 and have only gotten 4 alien blood samples (with about 180 biochemical agents). I cant make any reusable stuff!
  15. Second wave is out. Redeemd August 9th. See you in game!
  16. ^qft. turndown service will be around ******e o'clock every day.
  17. Based on pollings, general discussions I have participated in over the past year, I believe after launch it will be Empire underpopulated by a small margin. The pre-launch guild distribution is not an accurate gauge, as most of those guilds are hardcore players, often guilds from other MMOs, and the general distribution of those are in favor of the "evil" factions. When launch hits and we get the influx of general consumers, Republic will dominate in terms of numbers. Then the trash-talking and ganking really begins.
  18. The most sober post I have seen in hours. +1 internets to you sir.
  19. I say swo-tor, or swo-tar. Don't ask me why the second one.
