  1. I'm interested in learning this as well. I've set Treek up as a tank on my 55 Gunslinger and given her all tanking armor/mods/enhancements, but it still seems that she can go down relatively quick. Been wondering if I should switch her to healer.
  2. I have a quick question that is slightly off-topic. As a high level (55) player, is there a fast way to grind planetary commendations so I can buy armorings / mods / enhancements for my alts?
  3. Out of curiosity, how does Annihilation improve survivability? The only talents I see that would help with survivability are Hungering (2% health gain on bleed critical), Cloak of Annihilation (retaliate reduces cooldown on cloak of pain), and Subjugation (reduce cooldown on interrupt and obfuscate). I'm guessing the key talent would be Hungering as it gives health on bleed crits and Annihilation will be doing a lot of bleed damage and crits, right? Or is there something else I'm missing?
  4. Out of curiosity, what was so bad about leveling as Pyrotech? Naturally you'd take more damage than in Shield Tech, so was it just having to heal up every few battles? Or was it something else? Trying to get any feedback I can on leveling a Powertech; so far the general consensus is Shield Tech over anything else. However, I would like to more info comparing the two specs for leveling.
  5. Thanks for the replies. I would like to add another question: how do Pyrotech Powertechs perform as DPS for end-game HMs and Operations compared to Arsenal Mercenaries?
  6. Hello, everyone. As the topic implies, I'm interested in your opinions on whether Mercenary (Arsenal spec) or Powertech (Pyrotech spec) would be better for soloing. I realize soloing is easy in this game, however it's things like Heroic 2's and some Heroic 4's that I enjoy attempting to solo (perhaps being few levels above the quest). The main biggest advantage I can see is Mercenaries get a 1 min CC plus the ability to heal themselves (along with Mako). Do Powetechs have any way to make up for those lack of utilities, or would Mercenaries be the preferred soloers?
  7. If your level 42, I think you can do the bonus series on Alderaan, as it is set at level 40 or so. Other than that, as previously mentioned, space missions and PvP warzones can give some decent experience also.
