  1. +1 on this. Wiped once last night, on re-entering instance some of the platforms were missing. Raid group exits area and resets instance but the boss remains bugged. Exiting area again to attempt to reset again and we discover the reset button has disappeared. Disbanding and reforming and still no dice. Would appear we cannot complete SOA HM this week, can't believe the boss/OP is still so so bugged after this many patches, pretty unacceptable, not going to hand around for 1.2 with this ******** occurring every week.
  2. It's called feedback? Or at least it generates a discussion that may provide useful feedback. In its current state i will not be re-subbing after my initial 3 month subscription ends. I thought Bioware might like to know why, and possibly they can act so as to not lose my subscription (or at least regain it at a later date).
  3. I'll add my +1 to the post simply because i haven't logged on in over a week. I enjoyed playing my Jedi Shadow but after completing OPs on normal (tediously easily) and then Hard (the same bosses again and once geared offer no more challenge) there seems little left to do. I'm currently valor rank 57 but the grind to BM has become tedious. I find Illum incredibly uninspiring, even when there's evenly match sides it's just a horrible AOE fest. I sepnd 10 minutes using force pull on CD to nuke an IMP to death in 2 secs and then leave with a 3-5x Valor buff to complete my PVP dailies. The WZ's are good but huttball really only offers any variety, Void and Civil have become quite repetitive. I started leveling a couple of IMP side alts but have lost interest here too. Whilst initially the questing is engaging, especially with the voice acting, it soon starts to feel very similar to other mmo's, i.e. repetitive and boring simply because the quest design itself is so unimaginative. They really need to improve the lvl 50 experience to keep me interested. I'm quite surprised that Bioware have apparently learnt so little from the past 10+ years of MMO development.

  5. As infil i use readiness with power trinket already, burst is certianly not an issue. But the 300k dmg medal is illusives mainly due to deaths on my part. I guess its just a choice of play-style, burst vs uptime. I do very much enjoy infil but will try out kinetic just to see how it stacks up.
  6. Combat shadow? Do you mean Kinetic? I'm considering trying the 31/0/10 spec to see how the increase in survivability stacks up against the drop in burst.
  7. Yeah its not so much the medal i'm after more just the goal of achieving it. I guess the balance between survivability and burst is necessary.
  8. I'm currently valor rank 55 with a mixture of centurion and champion gear (about half/half). I solo and group queue for WZ's and generally if the team as a whole does well my total damage sits somewhere between 200-250k. I'm still seeking the illusive 300k damage medal and wonder if other infiltration specced shadows see this medal often? I realise winning a WZ isn't just about max damage and i certainly try and use all my abilities to aid my team (taunts, interrupts, stealth, etc) but as a DD specced character i would like to see those upper damage medals.
  9. Opened about 40 cahmp bags since change with no drops. The rate of acquisition of Cent gear is now very fast, which is good for fresh 50's, but the rate of acquisition of champ gear is pretty slow. I needed 18 bags just to get my MH champ weapon.
  10. Conversely as a class with a tanking tree Jedi Shadow (playing dps spec) i can easily get 8 medals. AoE taunt is more than adequate to get 4 tank medals minimum.
  11. I was completely underwhelmed and disappointed with the Lord Vivicar fight, i literally steam rolled him into the floor. Played as Shadow with Theran healing at 32. I interrupt all mobs casts just as a matter of course, there's a reason you have the ability, so i never even knew Vivicar could actually kill me.
  12. You guys must have serious lag or something, I've done this fight twice, the first time as a level 30 shadow, i was told to run away after being gripped, did so and barely took any damage. I really don't see the problem? The general is just a DPS check. Kill the 2 turrets, burn boss to 50%, kill droids, kill boss.
