Exactly, thank you. I asked the question assuming anyone who answered it would be familiar with the transfer guidelines. The reason I asked, for those people being mean about the whole thing, is because it seems strange that they put a transfer restriction in the transfer requirements list. Which was odd, so I asked about what it means exactly and maybe why. Of course, personal attacks are the outcome of asking a simple question on the SWTOR forums, which is sad.

Check out dabs.com. Your main consideration is the video card for gaming. Seems to be a lot of good deals on that site for the UK.

Best to either wait for transfer or wait a couple of weeks for the transfers to go through. Otherwise you will not know for sure what the population will settle down to.

He will be fine on high settings, maybe have to turn down shadows and bloom. Other then that he will be fine. Edit: He's not running at 1080p, you probably didn't see that, at 1080p he might have issues. I assumed it would run at 1080p at first glance because of his screen size and hardware.

If BW continues with the "status quo", either later today or tomorrow. Will also only see 4-6 servers added. This is pathetic.

It has more to do with playing an MMO on a dead server, hearing about the 12th for transfers and then being let down. So, of course people are upset. The immature people are the ones antagonizing the frustrated people IMO.

I really doubt the game has a million players. It's probably around 500k or less. A lot less after today, it's all guess work though.

Exactly. BW just slapped their player base in the face. "You don't get transfers right now and you could get a transfer sometime in the future". That is what they told us and that is why everyone is so angry. I never thought they could pull off something worse then the Ilum graveyard trap, but they did!

Could be worse, over here on the US side all the servers are light with two that get to standard during prime time and one of them sometimes hits heavy for a little bit. Basically only two servers on the US side that aren't dead. After today, I suspect we will have a lot less subs also.

If you wanted to play on a PvE server you should have rolled on a PvE server. That is YOUR fault, not BW's. Sorry but there is no passing the buck for YOU rolling on a server type you didn't want to play on.

Well this will give you a idea of what has happened to the player base in just the last month alone. Not perfect, but a good example of the rate at which people are bailing on this game. The solution is simple and for whatever reason BW is not being expedient with transfers/mergers. At this point and dealing with this level of denial/inaction on Bioware's part, not sure if the game will be salvageable. What a waste on Bioware's part.

I have 4 level 50 characters and an almost complete legacy. The problem is I'm on a dead server and I have almost no one to play with. If there are not server mergers or transfers before my sub ends, why would I resub? There is literally no one on my server to play with, fleet averages around 5-6 people and there was a point last week when I did a /who and I was the only person online on my server. It really doesn't take 3 months to implement server transfers/mergers, I encourage everyone to unsub before their next month is up " to get this across to BW". At this point they have to be aware of the problem and known about it for months!
