  1. thanks guys for all the help its been perfect. the problem was i had to hit 51 before the terminal in my ship lit up with the makeb stuff!
  2. Returning player, i am level 50 and when i last played there was some pvp on ilum and that was it. I had done all the rakata raid stuff and finished my class quest. Where am i suppose to go now that i am level 50 and need to get to level 65. I have no purple icons on the fleet, my Quest log is empty, I have nothing on my ship ( ive clicked everything and tried to speak to companions) So i guess my question is what the heck do i do now?
  3. our difference in hp is because you use level 49 crafted implants and ears. I have augmented Black hole Ear with 121 endurance and Augmented BH implants with 108 endurance where you only have 72 on each. Ask MR Robot
  4. I use Exotech stim and my matrix cube atm so with exotech stim and im sorry 9 augment slots. I have Ear implantsx2 belt bracers helm chest pants and weapon augmented im at 25029 fully buffed in raid 41.27% DR 28.01% defence chance 65% shield chance with darkward and 2set bonus 55% shield absorb
  5. acutally its both. like zorn and toth. one is all Force attacks so those cannot be defened or shielded its pure mitigation from armor. stormcall i hear is all tech attacks so same thing they cannot be defended or shielded again pure mitigation from armor and our self healing.
  6. Pretty much this i use the survivor stuff for pve if im going to dps i spec madness. But like in a raid if we do Nightmare mode kp i dps in dps gear as tank spec for the first boss.
  7. and 20k takes a whole 2min to get really i buy stacks of 10 each time for about 250k thats just a dip in the wallet nothing major. sitting on about 20mil so couple 100k aweek isnt gonna matter.
  8. ITs ev and KP storymode that drops schematics to craft 24b mods its ilvl 56 mods. I'm sorry if you feel that cybertech is a waste I think biochem is a waste all the exotech boe stuff is better then the bop reusable rakata stuff for biochem. I dropped biochem after i made my 2 black hole implants with augment slots for cybertech ive made so much more money in cybertech selling my ilvl 56 61 and black hole earpieces then i ever did with Biochem. I just have a biochem alt make my exotech blue Stims and adrenals for raiding.
  9. thanks i try to really help with the info ive either gathered or learned from experience. I do alot of Raiding im not hardcore but i still love to min max my characters. I also just totaly love assassin tanks. I have all 3 tanks at level 50 and geared and assassin by far i enjoy the best.
  10. Then you must not play the same game i do. For the other crafters to craft items that ilvl 56 they have to raid exotech schematics drop from Raids as well. I dont see what double standard you are looking for. all professions get entry level gear to craft then they all can be expanded on if you raid then you get nice patterns to make. Then all crewskills gain even bigger bonus from Being able to do Denova and making BOE TOP TEIR GEAR to sell on the gtn. I see crewskills as huge monye makers and way to gear up alts to get them ready for Top teir raids. For example I made dps sorc leveled to 50 when i hit 50 i got a full set of orange gear got the guild to craft me enhancments and i made my power mods Now im 61 mods/enhancments in every orange slot with 58 Armorings and a campaign relic never stepping foot in to a raid. I am able to skip all the pre content up till denova and compete thanks to crafters like cybertechs and artifice.
  11. had this happen on ears with cyber tech had levle 19 blue ear selected and crafting but then it made a level 30 which i had no mats for whats so ever.

  13. Ive been making a ton of credits of making the Black hole mods. you have to pull the mod out of the gear that its in before you can RE it. But the BH/campaing mods and enhancments can be RE'ed

Black hole implants ears mods and enhancments can be RE'ed to learn the schematic. the best way to get Black hole comms are to do the weekly quest on corellia for 6 the weekly flashpoint for Lost island and kaon for 8 the weekly for denova for 8 and then you get 20 for a full clear of denova normal mode and 20 for HM and 12 for nightmare mode KP
  15. Let us have more then one crafting crewskill. You will let me have 3 gather crewskills, 3 mission crewskills but not 3 crafting crewskills. I have alts that can gather the mats i need for crafting crewskills. Please let us have up to 3 crafting crewskills. This way Schematics dont go to waste in raids. With how few people are on the servers and acutally showing up for raiding its very hard to find people with black hole schematics. Be it ears/Implants or mods/enhancments, let alone someone acutally cafting campaign gear. If they allow us to have more then 1 crafting crewskill that would open up alot of options for these schematics that drop in operations, instead of them getting random rolled and sold to vendors, That or make the Schematics Boe so they can be sold or traded to alts that have the professions.
  16. See its RNG, I love the crafting system i learned my BH ear on my first RE same with the implant. I got 2x crit implants with in 5 crafts and my ear on the first. Rng can work in your favor as well.
  17. Basically at level 15 its all about Force Lightining. I leveld my sorc as madness and in that tree you get Force lightining with no cd and it regens force. Plus you get a skill called consumption to help with force.
  18. that is if you are at 15m or more. If you are under 15m then you pull agro at 110%
  19. ITS a group skill. If 2 people are in group together and you have agro using cloud mind will lower you threat it may be enough that it starts attacking the other player but not all the time. If you have WAY more agro then the other person cloud mind may not drop your agro far enough that it attacks the other player. There is NO visual effect No buff on you no debuff on the mob you just wave your hand like obi does and these are not the droids we are looking for. Its sorta of a Detaunt but not exaclty. It just lowers your threat by a %. If you drop from first to 2nd then you lose agro if it doesnt drop enough then youd ont lose agro. Simple skill is simple.
  20. it would go 5000 50% absorb before armor so 2500 damge would be absorb leaving you with 2500 to be mitigated by armor if its 50% armor then you would be left with 1250 so yes your math is right but its absorb before armor.
  21. what i would work for if i was you, would be Shield/def enhancments in every piece of gear then putting absorb mods in. then using what ever augment slots you get for defense. I currently have Ear/implantsx2 belt,bracers Helm,Chest Pants Weapon Relicsx2 with augment slots. I'm using the black hole ear and implants so its got enough shield absorb there. im starting to use the 41 absorb mods in my gear now from black hole boots.
  22. yes i agree that the definition to avoidance and mitigation are different. but the both do the same thing. They both lower the amount of damage you take. Thats what i was getting at. so both are important to have in balance. I'm at a 28% defense with stim and 65% shield chance with darkward up and 55% absorb. Im an advocate of having all 3 stats in balance not trying to push one or the other to deep into Diminishing returns. But i know for a fact with Kephess that you defend his melee attacks. so by your logs you are saying that stormcaller is all tech attacks well that would mean that Defense chance and shield chance would mean nothing then. Might as well have a dps with high hp tanking him. If your statement is true i point you to this statement "Melee and Ranged attacks are Defensible and Shieldable, whereas Force and Tech attacks are not. This is consistent with other games such as WoW and RIFT, where “spell” attacks are not dodgeable / parryable and not blockable" So with that understanding then nothing is mitigating the damage coming in other then armor, and depending if the tech attack is Elemental/Internal or kinetic/energy. If its elemenatal/Internal damage then nothing is mitigating the incoming damage from that boss.
  23. acutally this is wrong you can defend attacks on both of these bosses. And defense chance avoidance mitigation its the samething you are mitigating damage by avoiding it. But when it comes to these bosses i defend all the time. Kephess is a Melee boss so you can most defenitly defend against his attacks lol. The way it works is you cant defend Force/tech attacks. So unless a specific skill is a tech skill you can defend against it. So like Firebrands Debuff you cant defend it aka have a chance for it to miss, because its a tech attack but how every his main attacks can be. the game works on a 2 roll system first it checks to see if you defened 2nd roll if you dont defend checks to see if you shield. So a high defense is nice but you dont want to suffer absorb to have a high defense. Because if you dont defend and you do shield you still take a big hit because you have no absorb rateing. Thats where stat balancing comes in.
