  1. Please do something about your current customer service. I'm on my 3rd ticket regarding a simple matter such as lost items. I don't want to raise a fuss, but this is becoming beyond ridiculous after 10 - 11 days as a subscriber.
  2. Microtransactions may have had a contribution but it wasn't them that saved the game considering there were less than 20 people in the fleet area at peak hours. And who enjoys an MMO with no people in it, except those ****ed up people that actually want SWTOR to be a single player game... It was the no-sub format that pulled this game from the descent to the grave. I know some people have issues admiting that, considering there's some messed up hate for non-subbed players (dunno why) but it's clear as day and if you stuck around this game then you'd know. That's cause what they offer is simply uninteresting. OK, some might buy the ability to wear orange items, some even might buy the ability to hide their head slot (nice one EA, it totally does not scream "RIP YOU OFF"), but honestly, why spend real money JUST to get in some warzones where you'll get steamrolled over by the other team for lacking elite gear and verbally abused by yours for the same reason. SWTOR PVP is not attractive enough, from many perspectives, to justify selling tickets like this. IMO they should have done that with the story cause that's actually good!
  3. Spend money to make money. You heard the saying, right? That aside, I'm honestly not that bothered about a free sub leaving, I understand this game is not for everyone, but when I'm pondering leaving myself (paying custormer since launch), because of something related to player numbers (queues) then yes, I start to care about the experience these people are offered. Let's face it, it's not like this game is doing great. Free players are what pulled it out from it's grave. Let's not pretend that before they introduced F2P this game was doing great.
  4. Ok, people casually teaming up to play with friends is understandable, but don't defend IWIN premades that literally farm randoms. Even one IWIN group is acceptable, but with two, it's just impossible to win simply because you lack the class setup to compete, everything else aside. PVP in this game has enough issues, it does not need this one.
  5. Yes, I want a handout... must be why I suggested to remove to ability to equip PVP gear from non-subbed players. In fact I'm a free sub myself, I just found a way to trick the forums to post here, cause I just can't toss a few euro per month...
  6. Are you simple or something? How the hell do you have to suffer? Honestly? Cause lower geared players are in your WZ? Go *********** do rated and everyone will be packing elite war hero gear if you are too worried that your personal performance is impeded by green geared players, and the way you say it is like they'll all crowd up on your team while the opposing team is packing premades. This is what I meant when I said people call on the biggest ******** just to get their point across, unfortunately most don't filter their thoughts before writing them. Tell me, using your own logic, why the **** would anyone buy WZ passes when you, yourself say that they will get stomped out by top notch geared players... please tell me, what rational logic did you use to come to that conclusion? That in the 3 weekly warzones they are used as floor mops, what is the bloody point to PVP, what's the bloody point to pay for a short period of access? I am only subbing for PVP, nothing else. The queues are too long because of the absence of participation in WZ, bottom line, the WZ passes are not working, the quality of PVP does not justify the current F2P formula, to top that, there are no server transfers so I'm stuck on a server with low queues and honestly I will not reroll another character. So please, feel free to come up with a proper solution that does not involve telling people to piss off from your game, crap on free players or other stupid crap that's been called upon to this point.
  7. And isn't it? I've been a supporter of this game since it was officially announced, I think I reserve the right to express disappointment regarding the way they handled things or the poor state of the community. So as you put it, I can post wherever I want, the difference is, I'm posting about an issue of the game, as opposed to you who are just here to attack my opinion or my typos and just derail my topic. So I'm gonna put an end to this and simply ignore you since in your third reply you had nothing to say but complain about my complaining, so it's not likely you'll add any valid point to this topic.
  8. Hurtful personal attack coming from someone with no punctuation. Now I'm here cause I want shorter queues and I'm offering a valid solution. Why are you here? To tell me to go away and leave SWTOR? To flame me? Honestly, do you have nothing better to do then be just another enraged forum-goer looking for threads to attack? So I kindly ask you, either use arguments related to the discussed topic, or just shut up and go away.
  9. Right back at you. If you have nothing smart to say, and you don't, then don't say aything. A better use of your time would be what you suggested as you contributed nothing but to reinforce my claim about the SWTOR community. And nowhere in my posts does it say I hate it so keep up with the discussion or shut the hell up and go away.

    2.0 Failure

World PVP won't work in this game. They tried before and it was a disaster. And yes, people need an incentive to do world PVP, and I mean PVP, not what we did ... what, one year ago? Taking turns at blowing up each other's vehicles to complete the daily without any complications. And if you attacked the opposing faction you'd get insulted by your own faction for disrupting their exchange. So yes, people need a carrot at the end of the stick that's gonna make them want to kill the enemy for perosnal gain, it's simply how it is. Sadly this will never happen here.
  11. Really? We are gonna start a profiling discussion now? About the types of people in societies? Cause if we do I can probably make you eat your own words. And the game went F2P not out of the kindness of EA's heart, it went F2P cause otherwise it would have *********** died. Their current F2P system is so messed up becuse EA never thought it would come to this, they had so much faith in their success based on the brand they bought and Bioware's reputation, unfortunately that wasn't enough to keep a player base and honestly if they hadn't shut down the other SW MMO they'd probably have even less players. Bottom line, it's not a premium quality game, in fact it's far from it. EA is trying to cover their losses (considering how much went into this game) every possible way. But there are smarter ways to do that, they just aren't interested in doing it. Fine, you want a solution to the problem you raised? It's simple, make PVP gear equipable only to subscribers, that should keep people form farming their gear then stop tossing money at dear ol' EA. It keeps people who want to do compeititive PVP subbed and it allows the rest to join in, helping queues on servers that have issues with them. Now I know the level of malice of this community, I've played since launch and I'm not surprised to see the crap people call upon just... well for the hell of it. A stupid hate aimed in every direction at every subject. Plus the remaining fanboiz that throw themselves at EA's feet, covering in (virtual) spit and rudeness every valid isse that is raised on this forum. Thing is, the game already has enough issues and barely holding on and it's a *********** shame since it started out good, sadly it's caught between the malicious minority and EA's greed. You want to help this game or help EA make money? Cause, from what I can see, there's a big *********** difference between the two.
  12. Let's screw potential customers then. **** em, make em leave the game and then look shocked when the queues start pushing past 20 min. Nice logic there.
  13. No you said PVP is not flawed. Do I need to quote that part again? Not flawed... has no flaws... flawless. Are you confused? So, for one, I aready suggested a reduction of rewards upon completeing a warzone by 90% so a non-sub player. First, you didn't read the thread and just started yapping. Second if you payed attention, it wasn't my post you replied to with your IQ brag, it was Coldin's. 140 IQ... right.... But feel free not to reply. In fact I hope you don't.
  14. Not to derail the thread, but honestly how the **** are they planning to make free subs buy their PVP packs when crap like this goes on? Gotta be fun for a guy doing 3 bgs a week running into a premade packing twice their health, running tactical roles and so on.
  15. I don't see why you have to feel insulted. I don't even see why you feel attacked, in fact the only thing that might come off as hostile in my post would be that I disagreed, based on what I've seen so far, with your sudden, out - of - nowhere, remark about your IQ. And how could you guess my tone from a post? If you got issues with that I suggest you read this reply with a soft tone of voice, I don't care, the message in it has to get across. PVP not flawed. Then it must be flawless? Are you serious? And good for you that you enjoy it, I enjoy it too, the problem is I enjoy it a little too rare because of the queue, so before you draw conclussions, get your facts straight. I like SWTOR PVP, I am also aware it has major issues and won't pretend they don't exist. If you do get payed for your opinion on business, then you probably don't get payed alot, all things considered. And how would you know what my job is? No seriously? This is the third time you pull this out-of-the-blue remarks, what's wrong with you? Do some research before you open your mouth. But you know what, let's analize PVP for a second, your flawless product: 1. Class imbalance 2. Bugs 3. No large scale PVP 4. Hacking 5. Gear gaps 6. No matchmaking 7. Twinking ... Should I go on? PVP is flawed and they are selling a flawed product. Now I'm fine with the subscriprion because I played this game since launch and I know what it can offer me and PVP is not the only thing in it, but to charge people based on what? On a flawed experience where they run into the above-mentioned isses? But according to you it's how you sell a product, by giving the potential client a frustrating, brief sample? So, really? Someone pays you for your opinon on business for real? But hey. maybe in your next reply you can mention how much you make per year or what car you drive... you know, information no one asked for and probably not one cares to hear.
  16. Yeah, well, I thought so too until I saw it happen myself. People like to complain, true, but sometimes it's actually very true.
  17. I think above 50% of the healers I guard are some marauder's pet and they don't give a toss about healing the person guarding them. So here's a friendly reminder also: Heal your guard cause he's the one who noticed you and keeps an eye on you during the battle and he's the most likely to vote for you if you do a good job. Personally I make a point of not voting for healer pets (healers following one guy around and ignoring everyone else).
  18. If you had, indeed, your IQ above average you'd probably notice that the prime issue here is that subs don't like free players and that most of the posts reek or plain malice. If your IQ was high enough, you'd notice that the whole PVP system is flawed from many perspectives and selling a flawed product does not improve your business. I know they had to go F2P (even if they said they wouldn't before launch) in order to save their game, but this is just going too far with the proof that EA is a money vampire, and honestly as a paying sub, this bothers me because I'm secondary on their list of priorities, considering that the PVP queues on my server are way too long. A server that has over 200 people on the space station at, most hours of the day. Using your power of deduction, which you claim to have, you'd probably figure out that buying the PVP - packs is not really that popular. Using yourself as an example won't do much cause I can use myself too and it would be quite the opposite. Bottom line, personal examples are not that valid when the queue problem is obvious. And allow me to say that people "gotta love" posts like YOURS, where they claim to have a developed mind (points for modesty there) but the content of their posts shows otherwise.
  19. What, you thought you could beat da smash? Only BW can, and they aren't doing a damn thing about it.
  20. So please tell me what the **** is the incentive for a F2P to join PVP in SWTOR? I mean honestly, from an unbiased perspective, we are all subs here. Why would you, as a f2p player, pay money ? The PVP is not that great, for **** sake, it's just a few warzones, class imbalance and bugs plus cheaters, ok a few of those are in every game, but there's also itemization and as a guy who just hit 50 running into a guy who is packing full elite gear you won't last 5 seconds. So let's assume that an F2P player with a working mind runs into that... you honestly think he's gonna pay? Look, before F2P the game was near dead, literally below 10 people on peak hours on the space station, F2P brought back some life to this game, only in presence, we see bigger numbers in the space station and on other planets, and so on. But it didn't fix longass queues. So please, let's not pretend things are going so great with SWTOR that it does not need F2P or that F2P players need to be treated like ****. Give them limited reward access to PVP so they can participate without thinking of their weekly PVP limit. I guarantee they won't have a great time owning subscribers, in fact it's the other way around, but at least they'll do something about queues. And sure make it on PVE servers only, so the PVP servers that have good queues or any server that has good queues is not affected. Happy ending. Oh and don't even compare GW2 PVP with this, for better or worse, GW2 PVP has more variation now than SWTOR will have in the next 5 years (their large scale PVP actually works).
  21. Yes cause it's working out so well already... why am I here then? Oh wait, 20 min queues or never. Obviously the F2P-ers are crowding up to buy those packs... but not really. And I am not looking to make F2P-ers happy, I honestly don't care who is happy and who isn't when I'm not. Now, I know when SWTOR went F2P most of the fanoboys crapped bricks, but it's time to accept that f2p saved this game, it's time to adjust to that fact.
  22. Yes, that's why there are so many Marauders and Sentinels in PVP. I played a marauder on another account before I got this one and there's no use pretending. I could live with their damage, but cut some of their survivability to compensate. Jugs and Guards in DPS specs have a lower survivability and lower damage (excluding smash which IMO, is broken) and they are supposed to be more tank-ish so their damage is lower. So either Guards and Jugs are overnerfed or Maras and Sentinels are, indeed, overpowered... honestly I think it's the second. But yea, it's not the first time a class is OP and the ones playing it keep chanting "It's fine! L2P"...
  23. Crash occurs when the ship travels and the planet is supposed to appear outside the ship, it is the same with the republic equivalent of the black talon instance. Fix it, dear devs, it's probably one of the most popular dungeons, considering it's the very first one.
  24. Yeah... Come up with a solution to nerf smash damage and buff something else to keep em viable.
  25. At the middle, I agree because players will get to take a good look at the wz and their chances, but this won't do ****, cause a lot of the frustrated players don't give a crap and all that would do is generate more frustration from players who join a lost game and quit themselves eating the lockout too. So no... If you want this fixed, go for the original problem, lack of balance in classes in setups and in general. Fix that and much fewer would leave.
