Generally do get pretty consistent 10k's lined up with breach, potency, breach, SS. Quite often actually. And the Alac augments on my guardian netted a substantial DPS gain. Being force starved also happens to everyone as far as I can tell who plays Infil, blackout and force camo are nice and all but there are times I have to saber strike for some force before I can breach or PB

So I run 14 alac augments on my guardian and I really like how it smooths out the rotation. Is this possible on a shadow? I normally play infil but sometimes dabble in serenity. I love infiltration so much, but I often times find myself force starved and having to saber strike. I know power augs are the way to go (I love big crits and would love to see consistent 10k+'s) And currently have only two accuracy augs in, just wondering if anyone has given this a try and what the results were?

You guys are depressing me! I love Shadow and Guardian DPS but get told that Melee is useless Now to hear the good guys here are having a hard time makes me almost sad I came back if I wont be able to play my favorite classes. Maybe I'm just out of it but I pull about 300-500 dps lower on my Shadow than I do on my guardian. My shadow is full 186's without accuracy at 100 (I was asked to go tank and gear that out first) vs my guardian who's in 180's with half alacrity mods ( tryin it out but short on cash) and a few accuracy mods ( to get 100.09%). Am I just playing bad or is the accuracy making that difference?

Is this both pub and imp side? I only have Pub characters

I'm currently on Jung Ma and its completely dead. I want to be able to queue up for a FP and not wait 5 hours for a pop or find a PuG for an SM ops, which server has good progression (Pref on the weekends) and a very active population? Thanks!

SO I hear about melee, it saddens me but its all I play. Vig guard, Shadow or Scoundrel. The ranged classes dont have much appeal to me, oh well. If I can make it work I'd love to make it work. Do guilds accept people and work with them or, since I'm returning from a long break, am I SoL until I catch up in gear? Ty for the replies btw, Keyboardninja

I just got back so obviously my gear isnt stellar. As long as the queue time isnt 5 hours I'd be happy. Is GSF running at all there? Is it possible, even with the melee gimp to roll there? I like to think I'm a pretty good shadow.

For the PVE obviously. I'm kinda sick of waiting 4 hours in queue without a pop as a DPS :\ Will guilds want a vig guardian or infil/serenity shadow?

For PVE and RP. My server is deader than deadity dead dead and its sad. 2+ hours in queue for a HM FP is sad

I'm an avid RPer through and through and would like the whole jedi experience. Storylines, good people, staying to the code, etc. So I'm wondering, how is the RP over on TeH. I heard of some old friends meandering over there and was curious to hear about it. (Pub side.) I'm also a pve'er. Working on HM progression on this server is stale, I'm missing the last bosses for HM DF DP but havent had a raid in a month because people aren't wanting to do them. I can pull my weight in dps and am geared and competent enough to do NiM's even. Looking to get a feel and see if people have insight before I transfer over to this server!

I went onto dulfy's site and looked at their rotation for Vigi guards and I've been trying that rotation but pulling a significant less dps. (Im rust with it and all but...) Its a difference of 3.2k with that rotation and 3.5-3.6k with my rotation. I also feel a lot of downtime in her rotation, waiting for CD's. In mine there's a natural flow. (Granted I'm only into HM ops and pulling WAY above any dps checks there) I generally follow a rotation like this. ST > FL > MS > Dis > SS > PB > OS > BS > MS > ST > FS > SS > PB > OS > MS with the ST thrown in there to get focus and avoid downtime. I know I waste some stacks of force rush this way but its netted me a whole heck of a lot more dps. Also I generally clip MS with a Keening proc. I've also had the best luck lining up relic procs with this for maximum MS crits. (Got a 12k master strike once or twice before)

Personally I'm a fan of a suggested +DMG to full auto buff. Full auto looks amazing and its easily interruptable in pvp so this wouldn't be OP. Plus its a thousand times cooler than pulse cannon and the ranged component would be amazing in some progression.

So I've got a min/maxxed Guardian right now and I know to keep his 162 armorings for the set bonus because of how useful they are but I'm wondering about a DPS shadow at how useful they are. I have the 4 set stalkers but would 180 gear outweigh what seems like a very underwhelming set bonus? Infiltration I should say

I think this needs to be brought up to the majority of the Shadow Community. Find Xin or whomever the rep is and send it forward. The more I think about this idea the more I love it. I prefer Infil over Balance any day and would love to have my raid spot set in stone and not be forced to tank.

It would have to be tied to the CV stacks though and NOT have them fall off when you use SS. I often times will SS -> Low Slash -> SS. Having both crit would be nice as hell in burn phases especially since thats close enough that if relics are procced it should be in the same proc.

Its mainly dead becuase no one in their right mind is going to put up with the current pvp imbalance happening. Imps are doing premades and farming pubs like hell.

I am absolutely in love with this idea. I think giving this would push those of us who love Infiltration over Balance into competitive DPS spots. The only problem I see with this is the fact that, with it being such a low talent, it could push the hybrid between balance and infiltration to ridiculous levels. 100% chance to crit with SS + FiB + Force breach dot (which is getting a damage buff) + the now 100% chance to proc Mind Crush and its 33% dmg increase would be nearly OP. It would be the new top spec much like DotSMASH is for Sentinels. Personally I think it'd place us in a spot in PVE that would do AMAZINGLY well and it wouldn't so much be anything to bat an eye at in PVP as crits already happen quite often. This definitely gets my vote.
