  1. My how far we have fallen from "Play your way."
  2. I have literally defended the dev team and this game from almost the beginning. When the game went free to play only 11 months after launch (update 1.5 I think), I defended the decision. When they shifted the game to a single player online hybrid (4.0-5.0) I defended them. Always defending and supporting, until 7.0 that is. This post will likely get me in trouble and I don't care, I don't plan on returning after this anyway. Since 7.0 every decision that has been made has been absolutely baffling, I cannot defend it anymore. I have never seen a more arrogant dev team in my life AND I'VE PLAYED WOW. Even Blizzard realized that alienating your player base is the quickest way to the unemployment line. Seriously, do any of the devs REALLY play this game? Because anyone with more than 2-3 characters can all agree all of these changes since 7.0 SUCK. But go ahead, keep telling us WE are wrong, and watch your game burn to the ground. I am done, there is no coming back from this, you guys don't get it and you never will. Thank you for giving me (mostly) 12 years of fun, but this game is clearly not for me anymore. Watch my 'session time' go from my usual 20+ hours a week down to zero.
  3. I have played this game since beta, and only been unsubbed for maybe 12 months total throughout all the years (most of it being during 4.0 and again for 7.0.) I will admit I did unsub again after the rep CQP nerfs. This one thing isn't what made me decide to do it, but it was the last straw. Since the launch of 7.0 they have continued to take away more and more of the little things I personally enjoyed doing in game, most of them repeatable things that didn't seem so grindy for me. Nowadays I have far less desire to play because I enjoyed conquest because it was a quick hit goal every day and reaching it on two characters a day was totally doable and fun. I really don't see why it had to be nerfed, it was fun, now it's not, simple as that. I still love this game but I no longer feel I can continue to support what I consider to be really bad decisions by the dev team and the only way I can personally vote is with my wallet. I only have a few hours left on my sub and my future will depend on how they handle the rep nerf. It's not the reason why I feel this way, it's just the nail in the coffin. If they revert it, I'll be back, have to show them that we will support them if they listen. If they don't nerf it or only partially restore it, it's clear they're only ever going to remain closed minded and it's time for me go. It's funny, it's such a small thing, yet for many of us it isn't because it's more a culmination of poor changes that have lead to this, for me anyway..
  4. 1. Bring back a way to acquire all previous planetary comm and flashpoint gear appearances (I'm looking at you M-305 Rancor-X blaster) 2. Simplify gearing back to 6.0 system/Reduce CQP back to 50k (especially if they don't restore the rep points they nerfed in 7.4.1) 3. Update crafting UI so I don't have to set the grade EVERY time I send out a companion 4. Introduce a proper character restore system like WoW (I'd certainly even pay money for it.) 5. Update character models/Fix existing appearance bugs (Like Kallig's Countenance hiding hoods instead of fitting under them) Bonus - I'd be more than happy for a year of no content to improve the game and fix bugs, I would even happily continue my sub if they communicated this intention ahead of time to continue supporting the game.
  5. Is anyone else concerned that we are less than 2 weeks away from launch and we don't have a definitive list of features coming in the expansion? Like seriously where is the hype train Bioware? At this point we don't even have confirmation on some of the bigger points of the redesign of combat styles (Will our existing tech classes get to choose two new combat styles or is our original advanced class locked in?) What previously removed armor sets are being reintroduced? What ones aren't? How will we be able to get them? Will our loadouts use armor shared between all characters from the legacy or only what each character has in their own possession? These are only a few things off the top of my head and honestly I'm a bit shocked we don't have any of this information this close to launch.
  6. On a similar note, I've noticed a couple of emotes are actually missing since the latest update. I use /peer all the time and it's just .... gone.
  7. I have 3 on my wishlist, a small one, a medium one, and a large one. The small one, capitalizing the first letter of the second name of a character in the chat window. It's bothered me from the day we were allowed to start using spaces to make names. The medium one, adding a character restoration service. WoW let's you do it right from the character selection screen, you can restore one character every 7 days for free, without having to contact CS. I would go even further to say I would be okay if it was a payable service. The large one, a revamp of the companion summoning UI. It's too large, too clunky and a pain in the butt constantly scrolling to find companions that aren't from KOTFE/ET. I always preferred the original UI better (which is still used for crafting but there was an extra button to summon each companion) but maybe we can combine the summoning UI and crafting UI together again into something a little more streamlined.
  8. I've been dealing with the same thing over the past month or so. Every time I would get either a canned response from CS or a response 180 degrees from the original response. The problem here is that there is no transparency from BW on this matter. There is no set policy. Take WoW, you can restore a character yourself right from the character select screen once every 7 days, you don't need to contact CS, it's completely automated. Easy peazy. I understand there's a risk to deleting a character and then changing your mind, but honestly it's all just a few button pushes, why does it have to be such a hassle? If BW doesn't want to make it easier, that's their right, but at the very least there needs to be much clearer communication about what the actual policy is, even in this thread everyone is speculating because nobody knows for sure. Just my 2 cents.
  9. I'm sure these have been requested before but I'm just putting my 2 cents in. They are the best looking hood-up armored robes in the game and would be nice to be able to put on a marauder. Heavy Ciridium is Jugg only and Xenotech Weaponmaster was removed in 2.0
  10. The Legacy armor for BH looks as close to Boba Fett as I imagine we'll see in game, it's a bit pricey but it's moddable.
  11. Warren representing again. Right now I'm only rocking one toon, and I'm on a RP server 'Shien'. You will find me as a Sith Marauder named Khaan.
