  1. Np. Meeting notes posted. Next meeting is July 9, 2014 at 9pm EST.
  2. Don't know who you are but looking forward to meeting you. Please be sure to be accurate in your information and conjectures, as you are incorrect about the "peak day" statement. There were four days, one on each tab. Not sure what your last statement means but I only understand Basic.
  3. In regards to numbers, on the spreadsheet those in yellow are those who did NOT attend the last meeting and/or have not replied to e-mails. In regards to the "membership", those guilds in green (besides our one guest, Waide from <Spectre> and your guild) were all represented there in our meeting the other night and are part of the JMHC.
  4. So...over the past few nights I was on this week, Sunday through Wednesday, I went around to all major planets on Republic side: Fleet Coruscant Tython Ord Mantell Nar Shadaa Alderaan Corellia Oricon Tatooine Each night I recorded the amount of people who were on each planet. I did a sampling at 4pm, 6pm and 8pm (what I consider to be "peak" hours). Additionally, because of the implementation of 2.8, I figured our server pop would increase and give us the best "sample". Here is the link to the Google Doc/Spreadsheet I made: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lN0UOsjRcxMyE0yogd6f_ro0Dzmt1CyvGpZIgA1UhqE/pubhtml This accounts for these four days I sampled. I plan to do this at random. I do realize their may be more players during the weekends, but I feel this is, again, a good sampling. Based off these numbers and the guilds who joined Wednesday night; I can say within a 5% MOE (margin of error) that the number 55% is a feasible number. Also take into consideration of active players that each guild reports that is has. At the most peak times we around 170-180+ active players on Republic players. I know <The Guardians> run around 28-30, <Systems Commonwealth> runs between 18-22, <Axios Initiative> runs between 10-15, <Warriors Wolf Pack> runs between 14-18, <Jedi Coven> runs between 10-15, <Wraith Battalian> runs between 10-15, <Remnants of Hope> run 15-20+, <Knights of Sokan> run 20-25+, <REGULATORS> 10-15, <Shots Fired> 10-15, <Galactic Slave Trade Company> runs 10-15, etc. <Republic's Hammer> 8-12 <Penumbral> 10-15 <Coruscant Guard> 10-20 JUST with these, using the lower number, that is 183 members. Using the higher amount is: 252. Now that is just the "active" guilds. We aren't including Fellowship of Ancients, Knights of the Old Code and 7 other guilds who didn't show for the most recent meeting. Wanted to give you a clear answer to your question Thanks! P.S. Crinn's Guide to the Galaxy had similar numbers, but had the author's name as Mr. McSnarkyPants
  5. Thanks Luniara for your feedback. The meeting was great and I'm glad we had resistance on some issues so we could have varying opinions and make the process more whole, using the varying perspectives. July 9, 2014 is the next meeting date. 9PM EST. Coruscant Senate Building. Would like to have <Coruscant Guard> on duty if they could have 2+ folks available
  6. I pulled it from your encyclopedia of "Crinn's Guide to the Galaxy". The number 42 was taken and had a picture of you beside it. So I randomly chose 55.
  7. Below are the guilds represented in the JMHC. Additionally here is their point of contact. Each of these guilds officer unique game-play experiences for their members. A special thank to each of our members for making this possible. 8. First off: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=744448 Please read Luniara post from today. If someone was skeptical beforehand, they can be "less" skeptical now. I appreciated her efforts and <Penumbral>'s. We inducted several new guilds into the JMHC. <Galactic Slave Trade Company>, <Jedi Coven>, <Axios Initiative>, <WARRIORS WOLF PACK>, <Republic's Hammer>, <Coruscant Guard>, <Verus Scientia> and <Coordinating Confusion>. This brings our membership to 21 guilds. Additionally we now represent over 55% of the server's population of active players. That being said, here are a couple of things you should know that we voted on: The JMHC chat channel (/cjoin jmhc) was created and will be restricted to only representatives to the Council and its member guilds' leadership. That means that a "member" of <Insert Guild>, may not use this channel. This limits talking in the channel and topics of conversation. We voted that the JMHC channel will only be used for: RP, wPvP coordination, recruiting guilds (NOT individuals) into the JMHC (up to 30 guilds max.), and social/political talk among other guild leadership. We voted to use a pre-existing ops channel: ./cjoin Raids for pug'ing for ops/fps. This channel has been around for more than a year and is being used by over half of the guilds on our server. We voted to use a pre-existing ranked PvP channel: /cjoin ranked for finding ranked pvp groups. This channel has been around since Season 1 and doesn't get a lot of activity, but it will be used by our member guilds for finding ranked groups. We also agreed that we will use the /2 channel to do unranked or normal pvp. We voted that <Shots Fired> will work with <REGULATORS> create PvP teams and benchmarks. We had several non-JMHC members attend and also hop in Mumble last night for a total of 27 people on our voice server. Thank you our leadership team; Barnaby, Jiraxis, and Mad for allowing me to do this. Overall great meeting and looking forward to July 9th's meeting as well. We will be creating our PvP/PvE raiding schedule roster until that time and will open up the database for distribution to member guilds.
  9. Looking forward to it Luniara. See you Wednesday evening!
  10. Thank you for posting. This means you will be in attendance? have a terrific day
  11. Update: Please respond on this thread if you are attending. Thank you!
  12. That being said, lets get technical: Can BioWare/EA do what Blizzard did and do a Battlegroup with PvP across all servers? I have no clue to what it would take to make this happen.
  13. Axios Initiative starts running ops around 10:30pm EST / 7:30pm PST. They would be your best bet. Loyalla is my contact there, she is GM. Thanks! They are a great guild
  14. Thank you for your input. Good that you will in attendance. You will get your info then. Thanks Lun.
