So far I love it! The controls are easy to understand, keybinds only took a couple seconds to reset to my liking, and the gameplay is outstanding!

I just put the cybernetics on his whole person except the head. A reminder to him of how close he came to death. And he does look considerably cooler as a (mostly) cyborg.

Intro Maelikyte has been around for 7 years. We got together around 10 of the old crew from SWG (F*** YEH!) to start playing SWTOR again about 2 weeks ago. Many of us were in the beta and played through the available content until March of 2012 when we all had life to deal with. Now that we are back, we'd like to build a fun place to get together for everyone. We use Ventrilo for voice communication and have a 25 slot server. As soon as you hit Tattooine the mobs begin using more castable abilities and way more abilities that deal fire damage. Far more AoE's from mobs from there out as well. I found, keeping Kaliyo in current lv greens, it was far batter to set her on passive to move her out of the fire then re-engage the target. Other than that it's been a breeeze all the way through Voss with her.

I just completed Act 1 last night at 28 on mine, you are in for a treat man! Great story so far. I have 50 Assassin, 30-43 Marauder/Jugg/Mercenary, all of them are fun, my Sniper is more fun. Glad to see more folks rockin the long shot!

What lv are they? If the Assassin is lv 12 and the Sorc is lv 40, sure you're going to feel like that. I have Sorc and Assassin at lv 45 (Sorc) and 50 (Sin Darkness spec) and can not tank anything my lv with my Sorc. I can tank 2 golds and a strong or 2, solo without CC, with Xalek and myself on my Assassin. Sure, sometimes I have to use adrenals and a healpack. It also depends on the type of mob, melee mobs are especially vulnerable to Assassin.

85% in-stealth-speed + 15% (3/3 Obfuscation) of your speed in stealth = 97.75% total speed in stealth. I haven't noticed out of stealth moving any faster than anyone else with sprint active. The one most likely cancels the other.

I have been using Khem in DPS spec and gear since I got him, turned off his taunt and let him tear it up. I am Darkness spec and it works great.

They had it in the beta builds until early November. It looked nice having a hood with the lekku hanging out the back

I used Khem all the way up, some folks will use Andronikus some will use Ashara. I prefer Khem because he doesn't die so easy

Honestly I probably could have used Andronikos or Ashara, I just like my Khem. And to reiterate, I had not 1 issue while leveling. If you read the cry here about how squishy/underpowered/armor deficient we are it makes me wonder how I killed Zash solo at 28 and got Ashara at the same level from the Taris quest and I never felt that I needed to use any pet other than Khem.

I leveled Darkness in tank gear. I used Khem all the way through in his DPS stance and got new armor/upgrades every 4 levels. I did not encounter 1 thing that made me think I should have done it any other way.

To those having the issues I solo'd her in darkness spec last night at lv 29 then went to Taris and got the lv 33 pet, solo without stims or healpacks. I have used, up till now, only Khem. What issues did you have with the fight?

It's almost funny to read this. I leveled my Jugg to 35 and got bored, no issues at all, so I rolled a Marauder. Last night at 28 I soloed the lv 32 quests all the way through killing Gann (the Jaesa quest was a breeze, go darkside!). Maybe it's how you are using the skills or the spec? If you're not Annihilation spec you may want to try it (I haven't tried the other specs yet). Here is my spec so far and here is what it will be at 50. I used Jaesa for the first couple quests on Taris last night at lv 30, all of the mobs are higher level than me. Sure I have to use the self heal after each fight, it's only 3-4 seconds to get from ~75% to full. When I charge in I immediately hit deadly saber before I land, consuming the 3 rage built up. The first hit I make is battering assault to generate more rage, then rupture and then assault to proc the 3rd bleed if it's not already up. If all 3 bleeds are up I use ravage to finish off any strong mob and repeat for gold and champion mobs. Mid-fight just make sure you keep deadly saber, rupture and riposte on CD while waiting for ravage to cool down. Everything dies very quickly. With multiple strongs or in situations where you may even have 2 golds just pop a defensive CD. At 25 I solo'd the Heroic 2 - Supply Line, on Tat using Vette. Hope it helps man.

This is exactly why I keep her affection at my level*100 (lv 32=3200 affection). The story line stays constant with my lv and even though I shock her, a lot, she still gives me quests at the appropriate time. At 38, or whenever I decide to axe Baras, I will bump her affection with all the gathering crap in my storage.
