So redownloading the game fixed my issue. I noticed the version I downloaded today was 3GB smaller than the version I was playing with earlier today o.O

I have not gotten any since the patch last Tuesday, so no I am not at the weekly limit. I did check my currency tab and it did not increase when completing these tasks.

I have tried with multiple level 80's and one level 75 doing these quests/events. In the mission log it doesn't even show the Daily Resource Matrix as a reward for any of the weekly's.

I am not seeing an increased chance to learn higher tier items from deconstruction for biochem and amormech, the % in the tool tip is the same as prior to today's patch for learning all gold biochem items: 5%. As well as the alacrity and abosrb augments armormech make still say 10%, not 20% like the critical and accuracy augments say from synthweaving and armstech.

Can we please get a mouse cursor size adjustment setting in the user interface in 6.0? Leaving it up to a third party app like yolo mouse which does not always work properly and is wonky normally; or starting the game and then increasing the Windows scale settings is just a terrible way to do things, even then still the mouse cursor is not as big as I'd like it, and then when I tab out everything is way too big and I have to bounce back and forth with the scale setting in Windows. It would be a great quality of life improvement to get this setting. I know many folks would greatly appreciate it - those who use larger than 1920x1080 monitor resolution and those with vision problems.

Ditto, login service is unavailable multiple times, did get through once only to have an empty server list with an error when the game tried to load after logging in...

Tried logging in multiple times this evening, keep getting message 'the login service is unavailable'...I was able to login once but the server list was empty and received an error trying to retrieve the servers...so it appears this issue is not fixed.

I don't know why game developers don't take more advantage of it's community, especially this one is much larger than this game, to which free resources can be pulled from to support it. Raffle off an opportunity or do an ingame event to be part of a team that creates content for the game, such as raid or pvp map and let them come under your guidance (er free apprenticeship) work and create it for you and it only goes in upon your approval. They do the one project and leave, then rinse and repeat contest and content creation cycle. I'm sure fans would be lining up out the door to make excellent content on an internship based level as contest winners. I'm sure there is more creative things for this or like this that can be imagined... edit: perhaps this should be in the suggestion thread, sry it did not end up there

I have been a paying player of this game since launch and even contributed in closed beta a few months before the games release. I cannot begin to describe the major disappointment this game has become the past 2 years. The level sync of this game majorly ruined the leveling experience, one doesn't even need to think about healing while leveling, leveling is sooo boring now. The removal of heroic 4's and the switch to tactical flashpoints have made those experience's a boring joke now too. The dumbing down of flashpoints, removal of Heroic 4's and the joke that is now leveling completely disparages the player from preparing for harder endgame content and new folks suffer for it. This apparently doesn't matter now though as there has been no new raids for 2 years. Guess that was a sign of things to not come. There is plenty of solo content for people to do, why take away the fun from group experiences? Now, to top it all off, there has been no new raids for 2 years, and with the expansion announcement today there appears to be no new raids in the near future. Also, the coding in the latest 16 chapters content is a joke with enemies randomly appearing and bugging out, taking away what little fun there might have been with the newest content this past year. This game is really going downhill and the content is suffering big time. Even PvP has had no major work done to it, a new map or two in the past few years, I mean come on??? If you put as much time in the content as you do the cosmetics people would still be around to purchase that stuff... This announcement today is very well the last straw for me. As soon as I get done posting that I get booted from the game to character select screen, bye-bye swtor for now... try logging in to the Origin game client and it took forever to log in just now too, something fishy is going on with EA servers or their provider for sure...

I keep getting stuck at "Installing game client 205" at 0%. I've tried reinstalling several times from a working copy of game version 4.6a to no avail. I tried deleting the retailclient_swtor_203to204 patch folder a couple times and restarting the launcher to no avial (it re-downloads the client patch but fails to install at 0% again). I am installing within 'Windows safe mode with networking' so I have nothing else running, no antivirus, no firewall, etc. I am using the old client and do not have Bitraider anywhere that I'm aware of. The patch notes on the client still state they are 4.6a and not 4.7 patch notes. I am unable to launch the game. Using Windows 7 64-bit,16GB ram with plenty of disc space, have used this rig since SWTOR beta (with upgrades to graphics card and SSD). Here is my client log: update: I deleted the retailclient_swtor_203to204 patch folder and then tried running the launcher repair utility from http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/LauncherRepairUtilityP1.8.2.exe , afterward, upon logging into the launcher it still required me to download 'Game Client 205' and it still gets stuck at 0% installing... 2nd update: Upon my latest attempt to patch from a working copy of game version 4.6a I now see patch notes for 4.7 in the launcher, however I am still stuck at installing 'Game Client 205' at 0% and unable to play. I will let it sit trying to install the game client for a few hours now as I go afk and will report back later...

Saw this same error pop up after taking an insane amount of effort and attempts to get past the patching 308 error and successfully patch. Was able to get in game and dismiss this error after loading a character, was only logged in for a few minutes so unsure if there is any long term effects from this error yet...

Got it working and updated by only closing the launcher and quitting the remaining launcher process in task manager every time it did nothing and gave me error 308 and every time it stalled during the update process and gave me error 308. 95% of the time the launcher would do nothing for a few minutes and then spit out error code 308. It took me about 50 times seriously of quitting the launcher and reopening it to finish the update successfully. I would post my final log for you bioware, buts its 230KB, too large for the forums. (p.s. I do not use bitraider)

Mine is stuck at 6% install for about 1.5 hours now (I was away for a portion of that time)... :-( update: I use the old client (not the bit raider crappy streaming client). I went in to task manager, in the processes tab, and closed out the launcher.exe process. I then reopened my client, the 8+ GB that I had already downloaded were still there and the client verified that data. The client then began redownloading a small portion of the file it was hung up on installing. The launcher is going again, downloading and installing the last portion of files it had yet to download... the force is with me tonight! update2: I had to repeat relaunching the launcher a 2nd time as it stalled again further into the process, but after the 2nd time it finally finished downloading and installing everything. Now if you're a vet at this, even after your play button lights up, you'll remember to run the repair utility first before launching the game. The repair utility found 9 files it needed to fix even though my play button was ready prior to running the repair utility. All is golden now! Server: The Harbinger This all started after the 2.7.1 patch on Tuesday for me and appears to happen at random times. Sometimes I have been able to play the game without incident. However both yesterday and today I've had stretches of lag-spikes and DC's without end. My trace is showing a timed-out event. I've ran repair launcher, game scan/repair utility, checked my ISP which streams other content fine at the same time the game is having issues. Reset my modem/router. My raid group cleared Tyrans tonight on 4th attempt in 8-man hardmode. We just had a dps respec to heals and ran 3 heals and 3 dps. Once you get the mechanic of going down below to click the pyrimad after simplification drops off you it's actually a pretty fun fight.
