  1. I've been subbed the whole time and had this same problem after the patch completed but I quit the game to desktop and relaunched the game and everything unlocked. Hope that works for anyone else that has the same problem.
  2. Nope. When I'm sick I'm determined to go to school/work and spread my misery around to as many people I don't like as possible. I even volunteer for overtime just so I can cough and sneeze on more people. Sick days are for when I want a 24-48 hr vacation in the middle of the week.
  3. So yes you are indeed being ripped off but it's by your own governemt and not Bioware.
  4. Uhm you have to remember that the "community" is made up of constantly changing individuals of widely varying ages and experiences. It cannot "mature" like an individual person would. It will always have a percentage of people that behave "poorly", "awkwardly", "inappropraitely", or whatever term that best suits the situation.
  5. I got my party jawas when they were emailed to me. Maybe you should think about filing a petition to find out what happened which will probably be ignored by CS or they may respond with a series of increasingly frustrating responses that demonstrate that they have no idea what they are talking about because they never actually bothered to read your original complaint.
  6. The definition that you were looking at is, narrowly, chemical burning in air. Fire, more formally, is the phenomenon of atomic (molecular) recombination that is manifest by a new product and electromagnetic radiation. Chemical combustion just rearranges the atoms from parent material(s) to product material(s). The radiation given off is often light or infra-red (heat). Note that this does not require oxygen. Oxidation reactions are remarkably common, but by no means the only way to do this. In nuclear burning, the atoms themselves are combined to create new and different atoms. Nuclear burning does not require oxygen. The main nuclear burning that is happening on the sun is a hydrogen-hydrogen process, forming helium. There are other processes, too, but this is the main one. Some good sources: A good conceptual physics source that is easy to read and will help you is: Paul Hewitt "Conceptual Physics" Addison-Wesley George Abell "Exploration of the Universe" In layman's terms the sun is indeed on "fire".
  7. Got tired of waiting for server transfers so I recently made 11 new characters on the server I actually want to be on. I got all my names on the first try.
  8. That might be how it's done at real MMO companies, but this is BW where the dev team consists of a single trained monkey that does everything from creating new content, to fixing bugs, and responding to customer service complaints. Just kidding.
  9. Unfortunately TSW didn't go Free 2 Play, they went Buy 2 Play. Like Guild Wars 1 & 2. Buying the game gets a customer complete unrestricted access to the game. A sub gets them a 10% discount in their cash shop, a free item each month from the cash shop, and $10 bucks in free bonus points in the cash shop. Now you and I may or may not like the game itself, but their business model is a hell of a lot better than the one that this game uses.
  10. I would. I want my order to be ready all at once so I can enjoy it at home at my leisure. I sure as heck don't want to have to make half a dozen trips back to the restaraunt for one meal.
  11. There are just as many "fanboi" trolls as there are "hater" trolls, so any perma-banning should apply to both factions.
  12. Yes please. I want to move a character to the server my friends are on. I don't care if I have to rename the character once he gets there.
  13. Refund who exactly? The OP didn't buy the outfit from the Cartel Market. He bought it from another player. So to refund the player in the OP's case would involve taking the credits he paid other players away from them and giving it back to him. Should they give the refund to the original purchaser? What if the original purchaser is happy with the way it looks and doesn't want a refund? A much better idea would be to allow players to choose between which version they want to wear. Other games manage to provide multiple style options without any difficulty, this game should be able to do it as well.
  14. And watch out for the hissy fit they'll throw if the devs appease someone else's desires instead of their own first.
