  1. I unsubscribed today. All the reasons listed in this thread and in the original thread apply to me. Today I asked CS if they could move all my toons to one server. They told me no. And that was it. I wish all the rest of you the best of luck and I hope you have a ton of fun. Sand
  2. I've got toons scattered across three servers. I kept rolling new toons as servers died under my feet. I kind of like all my toons but I want them all on one server. I want them on the same legacy - a major feature that this game trumpets as something that sets it apart. But I can't get my toons all in one place. There are newer games out there with better features and less bugs for the same subscription fee... Please fix this. Sand
  3. Hi guys, During the dieing server fiasco I stuck with you, grit my teeth and rolled new characters on new servers as the old servers slowly died. I doggedly stuck with you, believing that you would eventually allow server transfers. When the server transfers finally came, I was overjoyed because I could get everyone together and set them all up on one legacy (a feature you guys really push as setting this game apart). I was pretty much crushed when I could only transfer to a limited number of servers and now my "family" is scattered across 3 servers. Could you move them all to one server (I don't care which one)? That CANCEL button would be awfully easy to push if I get "That is currently not possible but we hope to implement it at some future date." answer. The Guld Wars 2 beta is very polished and very fun to play. The Secret World beta I played in was good and allows cross domain transfers. Please hear me. Sand
  4. Schwing! For the classes that are able to join it. Bummer for the rest of us. Sand
  5. I hate to say it but this isn't the fault of BioWare. This is the fault of the players on your server. Either they haven't gotten used to using the LFG tool or they simply don't want/need to. Sand
  6. One. Moved two characters. No big deal. Sand
  7. I have to agree. There should be valid, viable playable whole world PvP (I'm especially thinking of faction vs. faction). It is just so common sense. I was actually hoping for this in the original release. It would be even better if it could be done on multiple planets and involve space combat. Just sayin' Sand
  8. I have no problems with either target companion or target closest enemy right now. My key bindings did change in the server transfer. Recheck them, it might be your issue. Sand
  9. Unfortunately this is the fault of the 350 players, not BioWare. In my opinion this problem won't get better with cross server LFG because 350 people is a pretty big sample of the community. I know this is a lame thing to ask, but have you joined a guild? Out of 350 people on that server, surely some must be in a guild. Find one, join it and maybe your problem will vanish. (This is not meant to be a flame in any way). Also, is this an ongoing problem? Has it been happening every day? Sand
  10. Yes. The server I moved to is now fairly busy. Busy enough to find groups if needed. Nice to be able to pick up a group for the random dungeon or FP. Things are starting to go in the right direction. And the transfer for me was very quick and simple to do. There are a few hitches you need to be aware of. You might lose your name and have to pick a new one. It happened to me. Not a real biggie. Guilds have to be unmade and reformed so you should coordinate with your guild BEFORE you all transfer. If you organise it before it makes it easier to reform. The bank should be distributed to a member or members. Pick a place and time to meet once you get to the new server or do it over whatever VoIP program you use. Put a list of new names on your guild website. Pretty common sense stuff, really. On the whole I'm happy how it all worked out. Sand
  11. I think so. My new server is fairly busy. C'mon back and see for yourself. Sand
  12. I'm glad they left this open. Hopefully we can continue to get good feedback. Thanks for keeping it civil. Sand
  13. This was a while coming but it is better now. Thanks BioWare. Sand
  14. Open world faction versus faction PvP if possible with objectives and stuff. Perhaps on multiple planets. Sand
  15. Hey guys, Firstly, I think it is great that BioWare is sending out this second round of questionnaires. It shows how focused they are on wanting to get things right for those of us who are still actively playing and those who have unsubscribed (they obviously would like to have you return). Secondly, when I started this thread I was hoping that we could generate some good data and constructive criticism and I believe that this is what we are getting. Thank you all for keeping this thread positive and constructive. I look forward to seeing how this information is used, since it seems like many of the suggestions and observations would go a long way to rekindling interest in the community. Sand
  16. Hi all, Is there a way to make annotations on the map? Like "X" marks the spot? Some way I can put words or letters on a map that persists? If there is, is there a way to share markups with people in your group? Sand
  17. In GW2 the AoE powers actually have a graphic that paints the ground so you can mouse it around. This shows the potential area where the AoE will have it's effect. This helps put the center of the AoE in a place where it will have the largest number of targets. With AoEs that center on an NPC or player this could also be useful. Do you have a plan to implement this sort of thing in 1.3 or later patches? Will any new events be coming in 1.3? Are there any plans to expand the characters' stories story past level 50? Sand
  18. I constantly outlevel content but not by alot. Sometimes I'm up two levels or at the most three levels. I think my biggest trick is to log out in rest zones (cantinas). I don't do FPs, Ops, Warzones or PvP. I, howerver, do every single quest, side quest and bonus quest I can find. I go after matrix shards and datacrons. I do as many space missions as I can also. And I'm in no rush. I have kids and I play when I can. Just enjoying the ride. Also keep in mind that some of those high level people you see have come back to do side stuff they missed. Sand
  19. I'll be damned if I can get that datacron on the bank on Tatooine. Getting on that canopy is impossible. I have a pretty normal body type. I jump, I hop, I have speed on and off, I try on my speeder, I pray, I yell at my computer and ask for advice in-game. All that happens is I get so much damage I have to repair my armor. Then I'm grumpy all day and my wife hates me for it. Sand
  20. Well, comparing themeparks to sandboxes is sort of like "the grass is greener on the other side of the fence." EVE is a sandbox. I played it for a while and I'm not sure it is for everyone who is used to a themepark. In EVE you zoom around space in a ship but you never get "out" of the ship to walk around or interact with other toons. You never see monsters, NPCs or solve puzzles. No face to face violence with another toon or NPC. No pretty planetary vistas or architecture to look at or investigate. No buildings to walk into. No voice acting at all. The graphics are super bare bones compared to other MMOs and RPGs. EVE is very cerebral. Other than full 3D space combat it pretty much takes place in your head. And mining by pointing a laser at an asteroid for a big part of your online experience? Please don't get me started. Sand
