  1. All the clowns saying "Fix the game!!" with their cool "I've unsubbed (but troll your forums for w/e reason)" crack me up. Content design and bug fixes are separate departments. They can actually do both at the same time. They've stated this before, and they'll most likely point it out again. Hopefully you pay attention this time, because you're wasting time and space with unconstructive posts.
  2. I really like the idea of a weekly Q&A... so that's why I ask my questions every week. 1) Anything buzzing around the BW studios about Defection, or the possibility of Defection in the future? I've never seen a better setting for it than SWTOR. 2) Any chance on revamping threat generation? Threat output seems very low, and abilities that claim they generate "High Threat" don't seem to actually do so, like backhand. IMHO, tanking is more about mitigation via cooldowns (and learning how to use them) rather than struggling to keep 5-7 mobs on you at the same time.
  3. As its already been said... its time you start to listen BW. I've been playing the Tank role in MMO's for over 10 years. I'm very efficient at what I do, and my understanding of game mechanics is never an issue. That being said, you really need to fix/increase threat generation. I find it silly, that my target does not generate threat while stunned. I find it even funnier that I even have to fight for aggro. I would very much like it, if you took WoW's outlook on tanking, because quite simply, they got it right. Threat shouldnt be a battle, thats not what tanking is about. Its about using your mitigation cooldowns to do the best job you can. Its not going to be long before I quickly burn out from tanking, and unsub til the issue is resolved. I'm certainly not the first, nor will I be the last to complain about it. Throw us a bone here BW. Thank you for your time /rantoff
  4. I'm not sure if this has been asked or not... Is defection (switching sides) in the minds of Bioware at all? If there was ever a better premise for it, SWTOR has it on the ground beating it senseless.
  5. Truth juice, not from concentrate. With some vitamin "C" for CORRECT! I'm 30 now, started playing MMOs when I was about 16. Just have to realize that not every game can be better than the last, and that I might possibly be growing out of it. Still, SWTOR suits my current needs - and for the most part, better than any other MMO available - so I will continue to sub.
  6. Hells yeah! Lets just hope that season 2 has a lil less wang in it!
  7. Haha, love your sig... April... new season... cant wait.... need... book... SIX!! #Getyour****togethermartin
  8. Too funny, I was just thinking the same thing the other day. I have a friend who CONSTANTLY starts his sentences with "Well, if you want to look at it objectively". Whats funnier is, he still says it when the word "objectively" doesn't even apply. EDIT: Oh, and it makes me want to slap the **** out of my friend
  9. Fraud, or Fraud not... there is only Fraud.
  10. You might want to find a new crackhead to purchase your incorrect information from. Where do you get 300k / 15% from? Didnt they just post an up-to-date current sub number at the beginning of this month stating they have 1.7 mil ACTIVE subscribers? I really don't think PVP'ers account for success or failure in an MMO, we're definitely the minority. Again, new crackhead... pronto....
  11. Yet your still here... posting... on the SWTOR forums... still.
  12. Yeahhhh..... Actually he's not. How do you not understand that being able to fill a certain role or perform similar abilities does NOT make you the same class. A warrior in Rift can use many different souls, but they can never stop being a warrior and start being a mage. Pretty simple and very defined.. To someone with intelligence at least.
  13. Actually it is, for the majority of us out there. 1. I prefer to play with friends. However, I have MANY friends, and some of them are also healers like myself. Do you bring 2 healers to a 4 man Flashpoint? No. 2. I spend 90% of my time healing, which can burn me out on that particular role. I'd like to switch ROLES every once in a while and DPS/Tank. 3. My guild runs operations, and I like to win... In particular circumstances, having two tanks will hinder my group. Why shouldn't a guild focused on progression, be allowed to optimize their potential? At this moment, I would have to visit a trainer, spend credits and then spend some time configuring my bars. After so much of this, its easier just to roll an alt. Why should I have to do that, when I'd actually prefer to invest my time in ONE character. Point being, there are numerous reasons why dual spec is important for some of us. If its not important to you, I understand and appreciate your views, but you certainly wouldnt be forced to use it.
  14. I love the game, and will continue to sub for a long time. While leveling alts is my favorite aspect of an MMO, it can get VERY annoying when you don't get the proper credit for completing a mission. When I attained Talos on Hoth, I was lvl 39. I've since done 4 of his companion quests and have now reached lvl 47. I receive +5 XP for each of his quests. Also, I just attained Xalek @ lvl 47, completed the story line to the point where he was no longer a "Guest", and began his first companion quest... to receive +5 XP... Something seems terribly wrong there. Also, due to my poor tracking of individual quests I cant recall the name of each and every one, but one that stands out in my head is the Ald Bonus Series. An NPC asks you to flush out ambushes and report to the next hub. You fight several standard, one strong, and one elite to complete the mission. However, when you arrive at the next hub and turn in said mission.. you don't receive ANY credit whatsoever.... It would be nice to get credit for the missions I complete. Please address this.
