  1. That was back when Bioware knew how to design armor.
  2. I find the thing most funny about this is that on SWTOR spy there is a crystal called lime green that is supposedly going to be put in the Cartel Shop. How much limer can you get than the one we have right now?
  3. Well, seeing as he likely had a huge roll in putting what Jedi players have been asking for since launch in the Cartel Shop... that would be a no. I'll trust him with SWTOR's future when he actually starts delivering stuff I can trust in.
  4. Lime green color crystal? You mean like the one we already have in game now? Though I have to say I can't wait to see what orange-red looks like.
  5. I'd love to see Nar Shadaa flushed out more. It's supposed to feel like a big open city but feels too closed off and lonely.
  6. So just because you had to do it back in the day it is the most efficient and effective way to deal with PvP content and balance/fairness in PvP? Logic.
  7. Why do I want to believe that they are taking steps to evolutionize MMOs and the way expansions work, but expect they are going to mess it up horribly at launch?
  8. The gear gap between PvP gear? I'm running full champion and am still having problems in WZs. It has less expertise than recruit but the stam and stats are lower than my gear already. Keeping recruit gear the way it is basically added another tier of gear without compensating for the lowest end. SWTOR needs all the legs up it can get it and making PvP fairer than WoW would be a darn good one.
  9. I'm pretty sure you're reading that wrong... it says you don't have to pre-order it not that you don't have to buy it. If you don't pre-order I'm sure you'll be able to buy it at a later date.
  10. It better be a bug, I bought the chest because it was black and looked cool, not because it was grey.
  11. Man, I kind of want to get that for either my Guardian or my Sentinal, but that clipping with the lightsaber in the picture is just bugging me.
  12. I had a knee jerk reaction mostly because Bioware said before that it was going to be free before saying that they might charge for it. I'm trying to justify $10 on something I thought was going to be free, but I can't. It'd be fine if they were giving us a fairer chance to get CM items in game outside of the GTN, but pushing all the gear subs have been asking for (now the hood down jedi robe) onto the CM shop and telling us to pay $10 for this just doesn't sit well with me personally as a consumer.

    Cool armor

I've been searching the GTN, the PvP vendors, and the Legacy vendor and the only cool piece of armor I've found is the Muse Vest which I can't use until level 31. Do you get anything cool from heroic 4 missions or other world commendations or does consular gear just all around suck? I'll use the Revan Robes if I must, but it doesn't really fit my consular's character. I want opinions and information! ... please? INB4 cool is subjective
  14. I look at myself as just a gamer, but if I had to label myself as hardcore or casual I'd likely be casual, and never once have I thought to myself 'You know what this game is missing, the ability to sit in chairs. Man, does this game suck because I can't sit in chairs.' (P.S. you can sit in your captain's chair).
  15. I remember in Vanilla WoW sometimes the Zeppelin would disappear and it would just drop you into the ocean. Man, those were fun swims back.
  16. What about if you want to play a different race for one of your classes? Shouldn't you level a few more just to be safe?
  17. Oh noes... you're calling someone petty because they bought and item and want it to work like a regular regen like it should! Sounds a bit petty doesn't it?
  18. Now that I'm subbed and on the other side of the fence again I have to say that I'm sad to see preferred status players are getting level 1 sprint. I view that as one of the major perks of being subbed over F2P. I wouldn't mind 10, but 1 seems a bit much. I would much rather see an increase in the xp gap for F2P players as I think that's what the real turn off is. As long as they still have to wait til 25 to get their mounts though I guess I'll let Bioware make that compromise if it means more players.
  19. Wow, this is kind of shocking. I suppose unemployment helped, but I honestly can't imagine spending 105 days in the first year playing SWTOR. I enjoy this game a lot, but not 105/365 days in the first year enjoy. What shocks me even more though is that you did all 16 ACs. How can one bring themself to level not only two of the same class and experience the same story but also level the same (essentially) AC twice? That just blows my mind.
  20. I agree, I think a lot of the 'first year was terrible, barely got content' are from people who only do one type of thing (especially people only here for the story, they got shafted pretty hard). If you look at it as a whole SWTOR put out more content this year than WoW.
  21. I don't see why they don't have services like this yet, I mean, it's already half way done. They have the ability to flag you for a name change so I don't see why they don't get someone to take the time to write the other half. It might be because it's buggy? Yesterday I played a character that I hadn't played since the server merges because I didn't want to change his name, I did and logged back out and was immediately flagged for another name change. So, a buggy system could be why.
  22. The ignorance with you and the person you quoted intrigues me. You assume that the people complaining about servers being full are the exact same people who were complaining about servers being empty. Why? Where are the facts to back up such a statement?
  23. Aye, I keep telling myself F2P players haven't leveled up to there yet, but another part of me wonders if the cut in XP makes it's frustratingly hard to get that high level. I love the way low level zones feel though, it's almost like back at launch. It feels like an MMO again.
  24. Maybe, but I refuse to agree with him because I find that he's a moron. I don't think SWTOR is the fairest F2P model, but it gives you good content for free and does its job of getting people to sub. Logging onto a F2P game and wanting a subscription like experience without a subscription? Get real, I've played my fair share of F2P games and have never expected to be treated like a sub, nor do I know what it feels like to be a subs so it's impossible for me to expect it. Most people coming to this game fresh aren't going to know the perks of being a sub and likely won't care. If they want to they'll sub to get those perks, if not they'll likely just play F2P or leave. It seems the only people that are raging over SWTORs f2p model are returning players. This is the real kicker for me, when you don't do your job as a reporter and report things and do actual research and just say 'as far as I can tell', then your opinion needs to have its validation checked. It's true that SWTOR doesn't have an option to buy character slots yet, but if he was really going to report on SWTOR he would have done some actual research and found that Bioware is trying to get that feature in as well as improving character slots and action bars for F2P players.
  25. Eh, I don't know, most the time what I hear in general chat (outside of the fleet) is the opposite, people are subbing up because they enjoy the game and want their shackles removed. We'll see how long that strategy lasts, but it's working so far..
