  1. I'm sure this has been suggested somewhere before, but on the off chance it hasn't been... instead of adding a new ability, just have the the Grapple ability serve 2 different ways. If used on a movable object (normal enemies) then it does what it currently does. If used on an unmovable object then it pulls the powertech to the object (boss). Not sure unbalanced this would be for snipers/slingers, but just an idea.

Another quick and easy (unless there is some really nasty hardcoded stuff in there) solution to give the higher legacy levels could be to unlock character 'rest/recover' animations for the entire legacy. For example when I get to level 55 with an inquisitor and I have legacy level 30/35/40 I could unlock their recover animation 'seethe' for say other empire characters. And to make it a more robust system, when I get to legacy 45/50 It could unlock for their opposite faction. Why? I have a light side inquisitor and a dark side consular. It would be a simple QoL while giving us higher legacy levels something else. Not sure if anyone else would be interested, and some might not make sense (trooper recover on a jedi?!?!?!?!). Maybe they would require certain weapons be equiped (this would make it harder so not sure). Maybe unlocking other race recover abilities (chiss datapad recover) when you reach a certain legacy level too. All the animations are already there, just need to expand who they are available to.

If they do add social version of the smuggler hat, then I hope they offer a version of it without the side/chin cover (the one from the cinematic Return), and one with the mouth cover where unify actually modifies the color. I personally don't like magenta especially when it doesn't match the rest of my gear. Unless It not unifying properly is a bug o.O
  5. What would be better, is if they used the same ui element they use for target of target. Currently the focus target looks slightly different than target of target and doesn't have any of the options. I think that the ToT is a miniature version of the character and target without energy (force, ammo, heat, etc). I would like them to be the same not only for the text info, but also so that positioning those elements through the interface editor easier, so sizing is the same (currently FT has a small size restriction where as the ToT can be resized much larger), and so that you can have the option to move/resize the buff/debuff icons as well. Here is an image for reference. The FT is on the top left and the ToT is on the top right.
  6. If you don't like all these people power leveling to 50 then do something about it (in game preferably). But what can I do to an ops group of 24 people?!?!?! Well if you have some of these then 24 can turn to 4-8 pretty quickly Orbital Strike - dealing 2082 elemental damage over 9 seconds to all enemies within 8 meters of the targeted area. Legacy Orbital Strike - Calls in support from orbiting warships, dealing elemental damage over 9 seconds to all enemies within 8 meters of the targeted area. Can only be used during a Heroic Moment. Legacy Lightning Storm - Calls down a Force storm over the target area, dealing energy damage over 6 seconds to all targets within 8 meters. Can only be used during a Heroic Moment. Legacy Flame Thrower - Torches everything in a 10-meter cone with a flamethrower, dealing elemental damage over the duration. Can only be used during a Heroic Moment. Legacy Force Sweep - Strikes up to 5 enemies within 5 meters with the Force, dealing kinetic damage. Can only be used during a Heroic Moment. Special Note: Ok so against 24 people you will most likely fall since you will be focus fired quickly. Not a problem. Pick up the quest [PvP] Charging the Pylon. Collect an orb from a Gree Energy Condensers. For all those who have completed this quest, you will most likely know what happens to you if you die while carrying one of these. If you don't then watch the video posted. Ok so your not an agent or an altoholic, but you know 1 person who is. Pair up, jump in there and distract while your buddy demolishes waves of lowbies. And if you think this is unfair, they are bolstered to 50 fighting level 50 mobs in a pvp zone. I prefer to do it with my operative/scoundrel so I can infiltrate/smuggle to get close, cast aoe, restealth and reposition, cast aoe again. And as a heal spec i can essentially ensure I die when I'm best positioned. Works best with 2 agents/smugglers. Death to the Empire! or if you prefer Death to the Republic!
  7. I'm all for this, but I have a suggestion to your idea. Instead of purchasing datacron by datacron (imagine the horrors of seeing this in the legacy window), it should work exactly like the HK unlock. Have 1 empire character find ALL 67 datacrons. This would enable the 'unlock datacrons' for all EMPIRE characters. Then if you wanted them on your republic characters, you would need to collect all 67 on a REPUBLIC character to enable the 'unlock datacrons' for all REPUBLIC characters. Its still a per character option, so there would be plenty of spending and given the new 2.0 achievement system, there is a valid way to detect if all the datacrons were gathered (not sure if its designated to a single character, but I'm sure you can just check codex). This adds a bit more difficulty to get it (unlocking HK takes some good time) and less development (increased priority of QoL task if easier to implement).

  9. Yea I would love to see a better variety of armstech weapons, especially when you can craft so many different types of gear [armormech/synthweaving]. I would love to be able to find schematics other than 'custom modified' and 'elegant modified' to get more options to use for leveling/endgame. It feels out of place wearing all grey/white gear (commando) with a giant reddish/brown gun with green glow on it. Especially since the weapon doesn't unify to chest, unless that was added.....
  10. would be interesting to incorporate 'zones' for non level 50 players. for example levels 20-35 fight for one node, levels 36 to 49 fight for a second node, and all 50s on the final middle node. might be too last minute, but would be cool. (i chose level 20 because you get access to the third row in your tree assuming your not hybrid). then it could be whoever controls the most nodes by end of time or whatever the 'win' rules are. and several operations groups working together. and if there is some issue getting non 50 players to the area the 50s could always clear trash in the way.
  11. I can live without the following, but it would be some nice stuff 1. Legacy Legacy wide option to purchase character perks (mail, repair, travel, etc) Legacy costs scaling by legacy level (level 10 gets 10% off, 20 get 20% off, or something similair) Legacy comms (Hit level 10 legacy and all starter planet comms become legacy, hit level 24 and nar shadaa comms become legacy wide, hit 50 and daily/BH become shared) I feel this could really be a nice touch, and a pretty good reward when you hit legacy 50 (and beyond). 2. Trooper (possibly bounty hunter) Would replace the high impact bolt sound with rail shot sound effect (or something as good). HIB sounds kinda wimpy. High Impact Bolt Sound. Rail Shot Sound. Make charged bolts the color of the crystal you use (have black-blue yet it is orangeish, not sure if applies to power shots as i haven't checked in a while.) 3. UI/Keybind Save keybinds to desktop or possibly with your UI customization. I would be more willing to try out other specs (From heal to dps or vice versa. Sucks to remap your ui/keys after getting the perfect ui) More action bars Keys to target specific enemies (instead of tabbing to find the guy with the red fire icon, push F to immediately target fire icon)
  12. I wouldn't be opposed to having the option to purchase them as a legacy wide unlock for some ridiculous price. Some of these could be very useful (quick travel, mail, spec change, repair droid, etc). Of course some of them would be worthless for legacy wide (companion affection bonus increase, unless you want ridiculous amount of presence).
  13. Will this also be including paid server transfers to servers of our choosing (maybe even with like a 2 week headstart to ensure we get all our characters on the server we want)
  14. I am going to laugh when they open the super servers and they decide to use transfers to move to them. Then it will be a 100% first come first serve for everyone and it will be 100% fair. And yes, I lost 4 names (2 origin servers), but hey, I can play with people so I'm completely happy. Plus as a healer, losing my name isn't a completely negative thing, those silly dps have to find me again in pvp.

  16. My Generic UI feels good for both heal and dps. And it works! The keypad feels very natural. Would definitely benefit from more bars though. Ops frames can pretty much fit anywhere and still be comfortable as well.
  17. 2 Questions. 1) Will we ever be given the chance to 'forget' schematics we know? For example, I can make the base item, the 3 upgraded version (crit, power, def), and some of their upgraded versions (alactrity, surge, etc). That makes for a ton of schematics for a single item. I would love to be able to forget the base item schematic if I have the upgraded version I like/want. 2) When these super servers come out, what exactly is the plan to move forward with them? Is the process to use the new server transfer to persuade people to join the top 12-20 servers which would be then be converted to the super servers? My concern, I have 8 characters with decently difficult names to secure (stupid pattern to choose 3 lettered names...) and want to make sure that when these new servers are implemented I won't lose those names (given if the server I'm on is not one of the top servers).
