  1. I ended up also having this issue. Hoping we get some information on whether or not we have to re roll characters or will be retroactively given the quest/item.
  2. I appreciate the response. Didn't notice until today when I looked at the patch notes that this was a problem. Any update on how we can get the lightsaber if not re roll the character again.
  3. I haven't been able to flip through all the posts here, but did anything get said on what will be done in response to lightsabers not being given for completing the forge? Should we just reroll the consular and go again?
  4. I made my lightsaber at the forge for my Jedi Shadow yet I received nothing from doing so. I assume I was supposed to receive a lightsaber. How do I correct this?
  5. If this isn't possible or no one can answer, can a moderator delete this thread?
  6. It was nice when it was a necessity to know both specs for raiding. Although it was always fun to do arsenal since I never had to think. Still might use it for dailies though. Can't start my brain during that boredom.
  7. I have been gone for a long while and have just got back in. Noticed that there are 6 quick travel points for Imperial side on Ossus while the Republic only has 5. Is this as intended or am I missing one that I cannot find anywhere. The imperial side has a nice one near the robot world boss while the Republic side does not have one similarly. Any information is greatly appreciated.
  8. Does this mean I can use Innovative Ordinance excessively again? That would make me very happy if so.
  9. Thanks for understanding. I ended up clearing up the OP a bit so that it was clearer and more succinct. Helps to have some sleep. P.S. To those talking about the graphics issue, I run the game max by the way and always have. I do not think it is a simple fix issue nor exactly what I meant when I said textures popping. Changed it to graphical glitches.
  10. Prior to reading: This post will bounce around a bit since it makes me a bit emotional to write about a game that for so long I enjoyed and have found I no longer want to play. It is not to attack the game, but to provide honest feedback on my experiences over 8 years and remember the times that I am fond of. Back at E3 2009 the first trailer for this game was released and it was the start of my journey with SWTOR. At the time, I was captivated in creating my own Star Wars story and playing a game that really enhanced my personal vision. I was in awe of the game and got immediately sucked into the MMO experience. How people described playing WoW for the first time was identical to my experience with SWTOR (especially since it was my first MMO). However, after many times of leaving and coming back (mainly because of money), I have finally hit my endpoint with SWTOR and as a larger picture consistent gaming. I really do not want to spend a lot of time rambling about problems I have had since my return or things of the past, but specifically two key problems that have lead me to today: consistent bugs and my willing investment in the KOTET storyline. I am saddened by things that in the past were crystal clean that are now riddled with problems that make it difficult to turn away and keep moving. Newer content has been especially hard to enjoy when random graphical glitches, companions don't fight back, enemies do not target properly, cutscenes have overused animations and shallow dialogue options, etc. I can deal with these problems for a while, but when the story content and voice acting became very difficult to believe or even interesting to listen to, it was impossible to continue on. As a result, by the end of KOTET I could care less and after starting Iokath, I could not tolerate anymore. It is such a shame because there are pockets that are brilliant and awesome (Senya and Arcann are incredible), albeit no where near enough to make me even care for the Jedi I have been playing since launch. I felt that I could no longer play as a Jedi knight who had so much history and ability, but rather a Jedi who became a no named figure overnight rather than a Jedi Master that killed Vitate twice. I don't want to go any further than that, but overall the weight of the story feels lost and distant from the past. No longer do I feel there are unique narrative threads, but just a homogenization of ideas and concepts. Before I leave I want to mention things I have thoroughly enjoyed about the game. Contrary to many, my nostalgia for the old content was what kept me coming back to the game. As much as story was a highlight, when I got into progression raiding on a mercenary, my investment in the mechanics and abilities of the operations, flashpoints, Innovative Ordinance and the teams I would participate in were the selling point of staying. It never really mattered that the content was old, but that it was enjoyable and difficult enough to want to repeat over and over again. It was well developed in all aspects and whisked you to areas and places you wanted to explore and spend hours playing in. I cannot remember how many times I was in Ravagers and Temple of Sacrifice in 3.0, but I never stopped liking zoning in and killing a giant dog or giant frog gross thing that made rocks fall on people. Heck even doing the False Emperor a billon times I still enjoyed killing some lunatic Sith who thought he was the next Justin Bieber (even though sometimes it took 45 minutes). Don't even get me started with the many heinous and stupid experiences I had with friends and random players (some of them way to bizarre to recollect). I don't think there will be anything that brings me back again nor sure if that opportunity will arise, but I guess my biggest takeback in my time is to find what you enjoy and sometimes knowing when to move on remembering the good experiences you had rather than constantly thinking about what there never was. I don't think I would have been able to come to that conclusion if I hadn't played SWTOR. I hope that others that have left and are thinking of leaving see this post and commemorate the experiences they have had with this game and also wish the best for the remaining developers and their futures.
  11. Just got back into the game. Never have done GOTM and did not want to do it until it was finished anyway. I'll be interested to see how difficult it is for a story mode operation. As a disclaimer, I am also someone who came for the story, was a ****** dps, did not want to do group content, did an operation and then got hooked. Started as a "story mode warrior" and then eventually became a mid-level raider (completed a lot of hard mode and nightmare content, but not all). I enjoy challenge in all content since I am a bit of a masochist, but I also see no point in doing anything that is completely mindless (if I am actively engaging in said activity). I would say in my week back I have not seen many time that the operation was in general chat unlike the craziness of ToS and Ravagers back in 3.0. I thought if anything there would be "GOTM up to x boss" that happened all the time especially when weeklies did not go to the end of the operation. I think if anything this should be a forum post that guides people to the resources they need to understand the game better if they are interested in completing these harder content. Although also give the off advice here and there to players that are struggling or clearly are just mashing Rapid Shots could be helpful to the systemic issue.
  12. I am sure that this has come up multiple times, but I think with the imminent implementation of cross faction queing for warzones, I think this is the next logical step. With the state of the game and a personal desire for it to see better days, ensuring that players can hopefully do any of the content they desire at any time whenever they want would be incredibly vital to attracting players to the game. Yes new content is also a giving, but the more quality of life and polish additions the game has the more likely people would be willing to stick out for a little bit longer (including myself who frequently takes month long to year long breaks).
  13. Yes to this post. I would think it would be a simple update and an awesome Quality of Life addition. +1
  14. I am so happy that I found this post. I was just thinking about this exact thing not 10 minutes ago and wanted to make several posts of things that I wanted. This is number one. However, I would prefer this implementation: A Legacy Unlock that allows for people with the Galactic Explorer achievement (all maps found) to have all maps already discovered for a character (does not include quick travel points). Make it legacy level 10 and an unlock for each individual character. I would call the unlock "Mapmaker" or "Galactic Cartographer". I would have initially said make it a universal unlock, but other posts made me think otherwise since not everyone enjoys this idea. However, the idea of making it a toggle is even better to me since everyone would could decide. I think though that anyone that turns it on would no longer receive any experience for entering areas they have never traveled.
  15. Hi I'm currently looking for a raiding guild that has a lot of activity in the HM and NiM Raiding scene. I don't think I can commit to a team at this moment, but I am willing to be an active substitute for the times I am available. I have two Mercenaries available with 220/224 mix of gear. I play both IO and Arsenal with my highest parse of 6641 in IO. I am currently 7/7 SnV NiM, 5/5 NiM TFB, 3/5 HM Rav, 4/5 ToS and stupidly 16M NiM DF. I would say 5/5 EC NiM but that was in 2.0. I also have a 220 sniper with virulence, but I am working on the rotation. I have a commando as well, but I assume the activity pub side is low. Thank you to anyone for the time.
  16. Thanks for the information your two. However, I decided to go to the Harbinger based upon responses. Thanks. If I could get this closed or deleted that would be great. Just want it to be known I am not looking on this server anymore.

  18. Recently I did 4.4 in IO on a 1 million dummy and 3.7 on Bulo. However, I am planning on switching to Harbinger at this point just because of more responses earlier.
  19. I'm currently looking for an active progression team on the Harbinger! Bastion or Shadowlands servers nights any time in the week and late nights on Friday and Saturday. As of right now I am on BC and am planning on transferring to one of those servers based upon feedback from friends, obvious proof of success on those servers, and the lack of serious people on the server itself. After recently getting into progression, I have noticed my desire and intent to get better and make the progress to doing exceptional. I have both classes ready though I am not decked with 198 BiS (192 ready). I'm currently 2/5 in HM Ravagers and 1/5 in HM ToS though that is as far as the group attempted before fading. Also completed time runs of NiM SnV and TFB at 60 (as a healer though) and 4/5 of NiM DF (never did Brontes with group). I'm an exceptionally quick learner and take criticism very well and try to work quickly and efficiently with it. I want to kill **** quick and keep pushing to the next step. Even if I get no information on guilds, any suggestions on what I can do to be more appealing in the meantime I would appreciate it. Thanks ahead of time.

  22. Bring 12x XP back as a subscriber perk or a legacy perk for 5 million or 1500CC and I will easily buy it. That or at least increase the current legacy buff to double or higher. Heck I would even spend 5 million on 6 times and it still would be worth it. Come on Bioware you know you want too.
  23. How much surge do people run? I am currently in a dilemma for my stat structure. Could someone list of their current stats ratio at least for surge, crit and accuracy (which I know should be 100/110%) so that I have a good idea of where I need to go? Preferably from someone who has a higher parse and good gear (so I know the max of where I can go). Or even better a link to Askmrrobot. Thanks!
  24. I totally agree with the increase especially in the Underworld sets (The knight and trooper ones are my favorite). I still think it would be best to bring them back especially so they set a precedent to keep the ones added from 2.0 onward. My gut says they are just going to throw them all away after 3.0 comes out or whenever the level cap is increased and I definitely don't want that.
  25. The problem is they aren't bringing it to the market. If it was literally on the market I would be fine with that since you could just buy the whole set, but you can't. It seems like all the sets are going to be based on whether you are lucky enough to get it in a cartel pack. What about a reputation vendor then. You can only get reputation tokens from old content like the level 50 ops, black hole dailies and visiting old planets. Like I said I would 've fine if they came to the market but it seems Bioware wants you to gamble and in hopes that you will get a full set which I am not okay with.
