  1. I don't really feel that i am doing that much more damage in 4.0 as concealment, it still decent but i felt more powerful in 3.0, I currently prefer deception once again it has silly burst I have yet to hit someone for more than 18k in concealment, where as i frequently maul folks for 20k +, and have had tracer mis hits for 30k-32k
  2. I sit at a desk all day I could look after a 4.0 leaderboard
  3. 1 dot should give full cull damage imo, they should also look at the widening the radius of CG, if its damage is based on the potential of hitting 5 targets, its broken, who has ever hit 5 targets in a warzone ? Also they nerfed the chance of dots ticking twice by 15% in 3.0 which was BS considering how low their base damage is, not sure if Leth currently under/over performs in PvE, the extra 15% might be a pve issue *shrug*
  4. Yeah, then Emuelia getting called a hacker for a week was pretty funny ;P
  5. Lots of imp guilds run groups, pubs not so much. Pub pvp is in a bad state on JC
  6. I used to prefer it to concealment for a bit but since 3.0 it doesn't hit as hard, the set up is just too long vs the output it has and god help you if you are in a group trying to focus fire, its terrible for switching targets, and I hate it vs any class that has a cleanse. We used to make 4 man groups of all leth operatives, and put up 1mil heals and 1 mil + damage it was pretty fun. I still would prefer to make folks dead in a couple of GCD's, you can't do this in lethality, I get 1-2 kills like this in almost every match I get 1-2 kills like this in almost every match, setting up your VS to hit when targets are about to be low on HP's catches most folks off guard and they don't even have the chance to use a CD/Medpack if you line it up well and have some nice RNG
  7. I think if you spent more time playing concealment you would find it puts out better and more meaningful dps and had better survivability than lethality. You have to factor in the type of damage you are putting out, the pressure your dots are putting on healers is minimal unfortunately and the 4s root concealment has allows you to control opponents better as well. I think you will find once you become proficient playing concealment you will prefer it over lethality, but if you find lethality more fun just play what you find more fun that's why we play these things right? We sometimes play 4 lethality ops or 4 lethality ops + a DPS geared PT tank in regs for fun the amount of pressure dps going out just overwhelms healers and tanks, its not uncommon for one or two people to pull 1mil dps 1 mil heals Give concealment a try, and just peel for healers/ranged at first until you feel more comfortable with it (its really good for that btw)
  8. That's by far the highest dps I've seen either dps spec pull since 3.0 nice job. My best dps (http://i.imgur.com/u0UfBtc.jpg) since 3.0 is still in concealment I only play lethality as a novelty some nights with my guildies 3 leth operatives + a tank or 4 leth operatives, its pretty fun if you play it for kicks
  9. I have a gaggle of credits doing nothing, I would buy a pair o wings, and a crest if you did that run in the near future
  10. I could live with that I used to prefer lethality in 2.X to concealment, it was a very underated spec. I am mostly buthurt because they admitted it was the least used spec in the game just before 3.0, and they were going to look at making it a more desireable spec, then managed to make it worse in 3.0 /boggle I think it boils down to the small population that plays ranked which looks to be about 7k toons this season (so most likely 4000 or less unique players) does so on optimal roles which makes compounds the problem further
  11. That really doesn't show how they are ranked viable, lethality simply do not do any of the things that makes a AC good for ranked in this game, its about as viable as engineering is Do they put out good pressure dps? No Are they good for hard switch's? No Do they have a good survivability? No Lethality used to have some decent burst and was a decent pressure spec before 3.0 and even then it was not really optimal for ranked PvP, it never has been really. A great player can make the best of it, the majority of AC"s out perform lethality
  12. I missed the skill part in "one of the guys in my guild made T1 with using ruffian, by focusing on healing and syncing ques while the good players were playing republic, a 1661 to... " Ive seen terrible players with T1 rewards, it doesn't change the fact that Lethality is not a optimal ranked AC. Hats off to Mosh getting to 2200 as dps that should have an achievement
  13. Post video's of lethality succeeding in ranked vs a optimal opponent, I must be playing the class entirely wrong /s With PT tanks pulling 3k dps with ebola cleave, and hatred doing what hatred does, Operative dps really isn't optimal for ranked they don't fit well, they are not good for pressure comps or hard switch comps. Concealment is totally viable for regs, and lethality is viable but still sub par as it fails as a pressure spec and as a dps spec and concealment roll is superior to the KI heal roll.
  14. We suffer more on the defense/Utility end of ranked as a DPS class, concealment puts out good dps, where as lethality really doesn't bring anything to the table when it comes to ranked and should be the next tree they look at, its pretty much the least played AC in the game. As fun as the knockdown was I don't miss the resolve it generates. Also as nice as it would be to have backstab reset on stealth it think it would unbalance our initial burst, its already very high
  15. Both operative dps spec's are not optimal for ranked unfortunately, its arguably one of the worst AC's for ranked. If you find it fun for regs go nuts, but concealment is the superior pvp spec. Lethality as a pressure spec should be able to pull 2kdps easily in regs, but it doesn't, currently concealment pulls better dps
  16. You basically have to outlast them which isn't hard for for most juggs, the main thing I do is either flash bang them or cloak+sap them when they pop enraged defense. I pretty much stare at the juggs buff bar when i fight them, they usually pop ED at 50% and reflect right away
  17. I was in that HB match, as much fun as it was beating LD at the time I am pretty sure they were screwing around the majority of the match because we were a kickball team How many Imp teams had a ranked victory vs LD before Uncensored came ? 1? US helped out in regs a bit, but don't act like they were some gigantic savior with a stable of top players, they had a few great players but the majority were average. I think their biggest impact was absorbing many of the fractal imp pvp guilds so there were more premades floating around, if you removed a few members they were no better than most the existing Imp PvP guilds at the time
  18. To be fair imp's suffered pub dominance for a good year and a bit, we had to face LD/Watchmen/Bloodline/PD/RG/QQ/ and I am sure there are a few I can't remember, loosing 4 strait to complete your daily was pretty common
  19. Here is what i take, i find its a good build for node stealing and running with the zerg Nano/Chem/hit and run - why waste a roll as a gap closer in some cases Sedatives/Pin Down Revitalizers/Evasive Imperative I don't take slip away, mainly for the fact that most warzones do not have continuous fighitng so debilitate is usually off CD when i need it, with so many AC's having talented stun resist/dmg reduction I find i use it less now anyways. Sedatives is prolly one of the most OP talents in the game so I always take it.
  20. @WickedImage i think we may just play the class differently and while i mainly healed from 1.2. through 2.X i would still frequently play concealment and currently its possibly in the best place its been while having a 30m range on ST would be nice but generally targets that you are not attacking are not running from you so personally I do not find the need to root them before i attack them and it most cases they would be free from the root by the time you reached them if you are using it from that far away HO can be easily countered with a well placed Debilitate, or a try hard grenade and there isn't much you can do for talented force speed which is fair Also, positioned correctly you can avoid most attacks while behind the target, I prefer CS/ST to a hard stun and save my hard stuns for the more pesky cooldowns
  21. wouldn't be surprised if CT has its ranged nerfed to something around 15m for hatred. They have to do something when 80% of the top ranked players are three AC's
