    Cheaper than hiring real engineers to build a proper engine, and allows them to spend more time on "story" than a playable game.

    Yeah, why would they release content to people who have been supporting their game since release when they can withhold it and not only make the subscription fee, but also the F2P cost of the content when they release it.

    True, so really the US server population is much worse because there are a lot of those subscribers that aren't even playing on US servers.

    Active accounts because of "free months" and people actually logging in and playing are very different. By the end of the year you will see.

    The only difference between the questing in ToR and TERA is that ToR has cut-scenes and voiceovers. Everything else is kill this, talk to him, deliver this.

    I said major content updates, not fluff and fixes that should have been in at launch. Even 1.2 could barely be considered "major". You seem to defend the game a lot, why aren't you playing it?

    Right. I am counted in their current subscribers only because I was dumb enough to purchase a 3 month sub. Do I play? No. The forums are more fun.
