  1. While I love some of the suggestions it seems everyone now accepts we should have to pay for any and all Legacy perks. Personally I'd like to see more fluff perks given for free to people who've actually spent time gaining high legacy levels, or played many characters. Also I'd like to see the social points be given a purpose rather than just allowing access to a handful of extra costumes. Example: Social Network Requires Legacy Lvl 25 Social points are now shared across all characters. Merge all social points together for a legacy then increase the cap to 20 or so. Then expand the social point system so it is all about customising appearance / fluff items. e.g. At each social Lvl (over 10) you could 'unlock' a colour which can then be used with the Unify appearance to make your chest armour have a base colour of Blue, Green, Black, etc. Expanded Legacy Gain 1 additional character slot for each lvl 50 character (Max +8). They've spoken about how they want to add this, above is a simple elegant solution. The more characters you play to 50, the more you can have. Legacy Cargo Hold Requires Legacy level 30 All characters gain 1 additional cargo bay which can be accessed across all characters. NOTE: This hold cannot contain bound items. Legacy of Co-dependence Crafted BOP items are now BTL (Bound to Legacy). All items crafted by your legacy characters can be freely sent to other legacy characters. NOTE: Biochem / etc lvl requirements still apply.
  2. Yes. My main had about 200 columi comms so I bought all the Bounty hunter gear, stripped the mods out put them in Rep Trooper legacy gear and mailed them over. I don't think you can RE these mods, but you can gear up alts this way. NOTE: You can only buy the legacy gear on the character that can use them (no idea why). But you can then mail them freely to any char you have.
  3. It's a bug. I reported it but the person who read the report ignored what I said and just checked to see if I had the title. You are awarded the title in a conversation and everyone refers to you as Captain from then on, however until you complete the next quest (think it's on Tatoonine) and return to Coruscant for debriefing afterwards you don't formally get awarded the title to use.
  4. This, and the fact that all HM+ Ops give out tokens for the gear but the game does not popup with a comparison of the gear you have in that slot. Meaning if you have a few characters (or just are not sure exactly which pieces you still need) you have to open char window to see if you already have that item or not. Nevermind the fact that main / offhand weapons don't even tell you if they are Rakata or Columi.
  5. I think they should just add a conversation when you first attack him: "Mortals, dare you face me in combat or would you like to see how lucky you'll be?" Option 1 - Fight him as normal Option 2 - He makes everyone in group /roll, if everyone rolls over 80 he dies. As that is generally how the fight goes. It's more like a game of chance than an actual fight as if you get the right amount of luck it's a dead easy fight. Rolled 100 - Both healers were not assigned lightning balls at same time Rolled 100 - Any character was not immediately picked up and thrown through the air to their death, the second after they popped their ball. Rolled 100 - Someone was not picked up into the air immediately after their ball spawned resulting in it running loose around the room. Rolled 100 - Battle Rez will work if you try to use it. Rolled 100 - Lightening balls will all have labels when they spawn so you can actually see which are live and which are the mass of dead ones. Rolled 100 - During any movement phase all platforms spawned correctly Rolled 100 - Soa will join you in phase 3 rather than not turning up at all (not happened for a while). Rolled 100 - Soa will not randomly despawn during the 3rd phase Rolled 100 - The game will actually register that he died (killed him 7 times and still have the 'Defeat Soa' quest).
  6. Not entirely true. Bioware have left this alone waiting to see if anyone is smart enough to roll a Republic and Empire player and then 'play the market' - moving things from one sides GTN to the other in order to make a profit. We already saw a lot of instances of this when the new crystals came out as Cyan were cheaper on Republic side and Purple were cheaper on Empire. So buying 10 on Empire and then selling them on Republic made a very nice profit. Supply and demand sets the price for these items, so watch the supply and meet the demand. You'll be raking the cash in.
  7. I married Kaliyo, then later got Temple's affection up and bedded her. She just asked me to tell Kaliyo it was over first. So..... spoilers:
  8. I picked one of those up from a chest in 'The Foundry'.
  9. Before she is at 2000 affection she doesn't 'love / like' anything. "That's nice" is about as good as you can get. Afterwards, and if you pick 'flirt' options in the convo at 2K, she will love the gifts like other companions (esp Courting / Rep Mem). I had loads in thebank and got about 160 for each one (blue lvl 2s Counting). Straight to 4K in few minutes.
  10. I admit my slicing alt has funded my main on a few occasions, but I don't think it's overpowered. The game has only been formally released for 4 days. As such the economy has just started. If you can get that 'killer epic' recipe for any other crew skill first you will make a fortune (I made over 100K on selling implants from biochem at level 29 - and still sell more each day). People need to take a hard look at what is lacking in the game and add them to the GTN. Hint: Synthweavers - If you have a Light Armour Custom (Orange) set of trousers (pants), make all you can and stick them up, you'll make a mint. Don't bother adding mods, just plain. On the same same theme look at all the items you have and use the dressing room, if you think it looks great someone else will (and will buy it). Currently on my server there are only 4 custom light armour pieces on the GTN.
  11. I've got a number of purple implant recipes, all of them from RE. They do come, it's just whether you are lucky and get them on the first RE or the 50th. Also some Green items have multiple blues. I got a Blue implant recipe from a green and was going to stop but had another one on me already, RE'd that and got a different one. i.e. Willpower / Endurance - One specced with more End (Assassin), one with more Willpower (Sorc)
  12. Agree entirely. My first ever Diplomacy mission I got 2 Alien Blood, and never saw any ever again. By contrast I have 30+ of the next three tier epics from Diplomacy missions. Reusable medpacks are amazing.
  13. Gathering missions are not worth it. You will find plenty of mats just wandering around for most professions (only one I found tricky was getting red crystals as artifice, blue / green are more common on dromund kas than red??). Don't go nuts on missions and you'll still have loads of cash. Slicing is the winner though (assuming you don't want a self sufficient crafting char, or are making an alt). You always make a profit (over 10-20 missions), although I guess that is true of all professions (you just see it immediately on slicing rather than others needing the GTN to take off).
  14. Yeah I was annoyed when I finally got a rare mission, set it going and Khem Val failed it. I can understand them being one time deals, but it should offer the chance to try it again if they fail.
