  1. I agree with all but the above. I only do partial key-binding for marking targets, dropping into cover, Diagnostic Scan, and the Ops cleanse. I click everything else and I do better than ok.
  2. I don't leave warzones anymore. When I am in a losing match I put in work to get up to 8 medals or as close as possible healing and dps'ing then I shut it down. I go stealth and afk for a few. I've found that watching failure is much more fun that quitting and sitting in the queue.
  3. Been a cybertech since I created my toon and am just now rollin a biochem. The grenades are great once every 3 min because they completely ignore resolve. But I absolutely love Exotech stims.
  4. Operative DPS is designed to move a person out of position. Hidden Strike is the perfect counter for a Sniper's strike style. Get in close with and hit with a heavy opener (if entrench is not up). Sever Tendon ignores Resolve, and when spec'd is a high damage root (1k+ w/ crit). Backstab applies poison that is very powerful since 1.3 and within the first 3-4 tics has taken upwards of 2.2k dmg on it's own. Operative DPS gets attention quickly. What happens when that attention shifts to you, that is when the fun actually starts.
  5. Not sure what the OP is looking for. This thread is filled with opinion, though "proof" is in the title. My main is an op. When I go concealment I focus healers and DPS classes first to either take them out of the fight or force the respawn. I have the skill set to allow me in closer to those specc'd for stealth detection and cc or run my opener-->rotation. (Generally top 3 in objective points and DPS when I am not lazy.) Btw i can still crit heal for over 5k with a decent proc. When I go heals I can crack between 3 and 5 (6k) heals back to back with crits and instant cast 2.9k Surgical Probe heals (3x) in succession. There is no other class that can heal someone to capacity from less than 10% faster. Unless the match just ends quickly I never fall below the 250k mark in WZ (that's winning or losing). Btw I can still backstab for over 3k with a decent crit if my hand is forced That's my experience, against good and bad. If I lose it's because I didn't support my team properly by recognizing what was needed and adjusting. The operative has more utility (albeit diminished) than any other class.
  6. So I call it and then run into it before the first strike hits and drop back into cover.....you can't stop it big guy. Artificial limitations don't necessarily work in a fictional setting.
  7. You don't notice a difference because you are probably good at at the game and gear is less important in the grand scheme of play. WH is worth it because it allows your awareness and focus to go to the next level. You can "feel" that small piece of extra power that isn't the edge you need, but the edge you can use to defeat your enemy or support your team. Get it at your own pace and discretion, just so long as you get it.
  8. If I'm pug'in I ask up front so I know what the group is doing. But I will also react off of what the opponent does. (Think of the option route in football). Plans should be flexible initially as well as further into the match. If I am in a pre-made with a mix of pugs, we normally will dictate what our plans are (usually holding mid) and we let the pugs loose to wreak havoc, score, and generally throw the other team off balance.
  9. Anyone giving Richardya 2 seconds of thought and replying to this thread in the hopes of a serious response has already been trolled. I'm not sure if he just snapped or if he's trying the political approach and speaking to the extreme circumstance. Do yourself a favor and look at this thread, but don't touch.
  10. You're being unrealistic with you expectations. I'm sorry but PTs are supposed to be vicious. I don't play one, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
  11. This overglosses what I've said in the past about Ops dps, but it is true. Ops needs a very high level of situational awareness to not get burned to the ground when they come out of stealth (or a pocket healer). That is not to disparage any other dps class. But truth is truth.
  12. You get good and bad when you pug; what's your point? What I'm saying is that no one (including you) can out DPS my heals on myself. If you don't get, I'm pretty sure I can heal myself and another person (Kolto Probes) ugly easy.
  13. I don't think there is any 1 player in this game that can out DPS my heals on myself. That's cycling Evasion and Shield Probe for defensive; Debilitate and Flashbang for cc; and Kolto Probe, Infusion, Surgical Probe, and Kolto Injection for healing.
  14. Don't touch my stealth. Ops have already been pillaged of talent to the point of generally lacking in all areas save for healing.
  15. Unless I am with a guildmate I abstain from voting. It's my way of being fair.
  16. I don't play well with others. It's why I made an Operative.
  17. 1. I (too often) will fight with my back to the doors in Voidstar. 2. I have snuck off from mid to try to cap snow/grass solo against team's wishes. 3. I have joined WZs with only the intent of testing out the functionality of certain builds and not winning. 4. I WILL stealth if I get passed the Hutball anywhere other than the final platform. 5. I have been know to completely dismiss Powertechs/Vanguards because I don't want to deal with their dps.
  18. That's not fair man. I have been fighting on my concealment op for long enough to know how what to look for in fighting every class. Sage/Sorc can be a bastard to kill when they react properly. They still die more times than not, but it ain't that easy to kill one.
  19. A simple tactic to help when you get targeted (as a healer) is to draw the fighters away from the node and the frey by healing from maximum range. When the attackers are forced into your front line they should now be taking heav(ier) fire forcing them to change targets. If you happen to die, then it is what it is, getting focus fired usually results in the target dieing. (as it should)
  20. Class imbalance is not relative to one faction or the other. If you are pug'ing versus even a 4 made premade that is coordinated, chances are you are going to get rolled hard. I'll tell you that I 4-man queue most nights with a few guildies. Here's what we do by WZ: Huttball - Focus down marked players and hold mid Voidstar - Focus down marked players and hold mid ACW - Focus down marked players and hold mid Novare - Starting to get the point? What we are doing is making life a living hell for whomever is targetted. I've seen Bubbled/Guarded/Heal spamming commandos explode in 2-3 seconds because they have no time to react. I've seen Sages unable to escape with force run and die just as fast. You know what else I've seen? (Republic players do the same thing with a lot of success). This is not a learn to play response; this is a "Learn what to expect" response.

    Super Premades....

If that's a serious question bro; you probably just shouldn't queue for pvp at all....

    Super Premades....

Well there are 4 warzones, not 3. And without objectives, every warzone would last indefinitely. What you're looking for is the ability to tuck-tale and run before the match starts; when you can do that after the match starts...

    Super Premades....

So you want to introduce individual prejudice into a random matching process?
