  1. A slightly lead on possible DPS on a dummy, is not worth it on bosses if the spec requires 100% uptime or it's toast, except on tank and spank fights. Even tho, i find it interesting people say IO is harder. It's a static rotation, arsenal is not. Yes, it is easier to do more dps with arsenal if you do not know IO's rotation, but once you do, well, you know about skill ceiling floor right ? Also, if you are not on the verge of overheating with a arsenal spec, you are playing it wrong and your APM is probably too low.

    Sage / Sorc

Yeah, much better to keep the 1/24 spec having fun while leaving the rest as glorified cheerleaders.
  3. If the "basic" set is purchaseable by credits, i don't see why not.
  4. Switch stances is now "cheese". What did i miss ?
  5. No, i couldn't give less snow about arenas and their completely boxed kind of play. Specially since DEVs tend to balance pvp towards it when it is only a very minor fraction of the pvp community who does arena, and not to speak newcomers. Pointless deathmatchs are so from the 90's.
  6. Plot twist. He was being sarcastic. Anyways, it's only natural to get a positive reinforcement from feeling appreciated.
  7. How big is that sample ? Are those averages ? Because if they are not, they can perfectly be just regular variance.
  8. It's actually very easy as you get the hang on, as basically the only thing that doesn't get dictated by your cooldowns is the regular dot, and that one has the same cooldown as merciless/annihilate. Then you just have to take into account your focus, which once you practice a bit you will know how to deal with it, and it's pretty much a static rotation. Carnage/Combat is easier to begin with, but harder to master, as it requires much more APM than watchman/annihilation. About being harder than other classes, i don't know. I had played merc, powertech, sorc, sin, sniper, and none of them are harder than a marauder.
  9. It's interesting how people say "if you nerf heal you have to nerf burst". Guess i my 4.03 patch notes are different from other people.
  10. On objective based gameplay ? Sure as hell they should. It's one of the problems with stalling matches, not to speak that you introduce a guard and a taunt, and voila, kill noone you can.
  11. The biggest differences between wow's pvp and swtor's are guard and taunts. There is where the real deal is.
  12. Totally untrue. At reléase they were the spec with more mobility out of the three. Increase on force cloak, predation movement speed and very low leap cd. It also had the best interrupt lock in the game. It was a pleasure to play back then as a spec for pvp, not it feels bland (not weak or op, just outright bland).
  13. So now people are ************ about not being able to leap + snare a PT ? The only way a PT can kite you is if you the next global cooldown after leap isn't snare. And i don't know why, but a lot of people seem to make that mistake in order to pew pew sooner.
  14. No i didn't. Maybe you are confusing "open world" with "instanced world".

    4 Man arenas

While i think they are an interesting format, why the **** am i forced to PuG arenas ? If i am pugging let me just do regular warzones, where, even if tactical and teamwork play is important, it isn't as extremely important. Not to speak of all those times the other team or you start a 2vs4.
  16. Huh, SWTOR isn't open world. Star wars galaxies was. The guy who writed that article should be fired just for that reason alone.
  17. The ********** in this thread to crap on Wildstar is amazing. Most of the people who left the game, are gone. Just accept it. If one thing has been proven, is that this game has horrible player retention, and the devs are not really addressing it via game features, but hats.
  18. It wasn't only having it every combat, but that with some heals, you could chain your defense buffs effectively.
  19. It's Red = KoS (kill on sight) Meh, i already gave up with MMORPGs as pvp games. They just plainly suck, most of them are warzone/battleground based, and they don't even work a little to make them really work (balancing classes/roles/matchmaking before the game even starts). Over the years, and playing other games which are not MMORPGs, you see how It's a watered down PvP experience to catter PvE'rs who enjoy carrots.
  20. I ussually vent off on ragers who are clearly average/bad players. It's like... you have so much to improve on, and you are just excusing yourself ************ on others.
  21. All of us understood you perfectly and what you are saying is nothing new to us. It's you who should re-read his own statements to understand the little thought you are putting into what you are writing. You will always see recruit warriors because most people who level their first toon don't think about maxing coms, and even if they do, many choose the approach to just farm the comms (because 4500 comms, is something easy to get in 1-2 days for a hardcore player, and less of a week for a more casual pvp'er, 13500, not so much ), save the rated for ehw and forget about it. If you think, on a dedicated forum, you will find the target audience you are aiming to with your posts, you are pretty much wrong, people who don't know to min/max, max coms, or whatever, are likely to never ever visit the forums. That's why in your attempt to sound like an elitist dude, you just sound like a tool.
