  2. Great work! I've followed all of his guides to get the vast majority of the Datacrons. I have yet to do Illum, but I plan on doing that in the next few days when I get time, and that last green matrix shard on Belsavis when I have the time to spend hours looking for the energy cubes. The only suggestion I would make would be to pause a second or two longer on the map and to slow down some of the platforming sequences that get somewhat complicated. You guys should do one of the +10 stats run. I know someone else has done it already, but it definitely could use a bit of refinement.
  3. Dunno what you're talking about, I just sold over 120ish of them I had left over after moving on the the next crafting level. But then again anytime there was a companion gathering mission for artifact fragments, I sent them on it. I will agree that they are somewhat rare if you rely on world gathering only though. Send your companions out to gather stuff while you quest otherwise you'll never get any crafting done. I just wish they had more abundant gem missions for treasure hunting, I seem not to get those often.
  4. Nah, I don't use STR, but I care because it's about completion. So far 2 of the ones on Illum and the matrix shard from Belsavis are the only ones I haven't gotten yet. Illum I'll get to tonight when I log on. Belsavis... gods only know when I'll be able to get those stupid energy cubes for it.
  5. It clutters up the screen needlessly. I don't want or need a huge picture of character or my target next to my action bars. For that matter why the hell did they go with the ridiculous oversized 2 on the bottom and 1 to each side bar style? Why put my pet bar right at the bottom corner of the screen, and again, with the oversized picture. Let me resize that garbage, get rid of portraits, alter how buffs/debuffs are presented to me. Then there's Ops frames. Can't tell what debuff is what, or if it's a buff or debuff the player has unless I'm playing on a jumbotron. Not to mention the not always updating properly part. How am I supposed to do my job as a healer this way? I mean yeah, I can do it, but I'm not fighting the boss, I'm fighting the UI. GTN UI... dear god what inbred crack baby that's been dropped on the head came up with that ****** UI? No search by name function until after you've selected everything else? Can't search armor by slot. Doesn't remember the price you just used on the same size stack of the same item not 5 seconds ago. No option to see what the price of each individual unit in a stack costs. Oh and that filter where you select "Usable by"? Yeah, doesn't work. Don't get me wrong, I'm having fun playing the game, maybe because it's still somewhat new and fresh and I like the story, I can overlook the bad UI and lack of customization. Now if those and a few other issues aren't taken care of or addressed in the next month or two, it'll be time for me to move on to a different game.
  6. The +10 stats one isn't bugged. I did it with a group of guild mates last night. Also, WTB more energy cube spawns on Belsavis.
  7. Personally, I like the Datacron hunting. I like the challenge, and it brought back a feeling of nostalgia from both my platform gaming days, and the days when I'd try to get to unreachable areas in WoW using crazy jumps in the pre-flying mount days. The only one that really pisses me off is the one on Belsavis with the random spawn locations for the Rakata energy cubes in several different sections of the map. I still haven't completed that one or the ones on Illum yet, but I've gotten all the others up to Illum. And the +10 stats datacron run was amazingly challenging, but still doable. That said, I'm not so sure BW should have gone with stat bonuses as rewards for them. It does make it a bit difficult for the min/maxers to do their thing, and it does give an edge stat wise to the tenacious few who can stick out the crazy jumping and dropping.
  8. Bugs like being unable to loot chests, bosses that bug out and randomly reset in the middle of the encounter, or that can't be killed, (Revan and Mentor spring to mind), gathering nodes that can't be harvested, game crashes due to killing a bonus mission in space missions, instadeath when getting out of a taxi ride, party members being unable to enter FP's. And those are just ones that I've encountered. If you've read much in the forums you'll know there's loads of them out there. Just because you don't notice them doesn't mean they don't exist. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the game immensely, but if certain issues aren't taken care of within the next few months this game will be in a heap of trouble.
  9. "Also, some bad players are unable to use the wrong rotations, cause the add-ons do it for him some of the time." Yeah, about that. The few mods out there that did do this for a short amount of time, don't anymore. Even when mods like that did work, they didn't last long. Honestly, where do you people get your info from?
  10. What about the other 8 people in a 16 man Ops? Really, the healing issues could be solved if they made the Ops frames better. Larger debuffs, showed if they were already getting a heal cast on them, and had some way for you to place a marker on the tanks. With that I could deal with clicking on them and using the hotkeys to heal instead of mouse over functionality, although I'd prefer mouse over. Give us our meters, just make them non linkable. For the love of god let us customize our bars better and get rid of those huge portraits. Give us more keybind options, like shift+mouse keys, or different keyboard keys+mouse keys. Options, Options options! Oh yeah, and a proper target of target function Really that's all we need for raiding. I'd also love a better GTN UI or the ability to customize it.
  11. You forgot a few of the changes that should be made to chat such as being able to shift click a player name in chat to figure out what class/level/guild they belong to as well as being able to simply right click a name in chat and have several options like ignore/add as friend/invite to group/clan invite. Also add a feature to chat that lets you post a crafting recipe for when people are asking what mats you need for an item. Other than those you are spot on. Meters, I just want to improve my performance, and be able to know when I'm wasting my time or having my time wasted. I have no need to link it or have it linked. The GTN function is horrible, when I select "Light Armor, Prototype or Custom, Usable by Me" for my SI it turns up nothing. WTH kinda set up is that? And yes, please get rid of that big *** picture of me and my target on the UI, or just give me a boatload of options to customize it.
  12. But don't you know? Theorycrafting and min/maxers and hardcore raiders with their addons ruined WoW! It meant you could no longer get away with some crazy spec where you randomly pick and choose talents from all the trees. You would no longer be accepted into a decent group for dungeons and raids when they looked at your gear and found a mish mash of stats with no enchants and crappy itemization after noticing that your numbers were piss poor. THIS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN SWTOR!
  13. To be fair, meter whores tend to be bad players, unless it's a Patchwerk style fight where they can't screw it up no matter how hard they try.
  14. For the moment I mostly enjoy the space combat, even with the bugs where if I destroy certain targets the game quits on me. I just wish the made the Proton torpedo usage a bit more clear. I can however see the missions growing stale after a while. Hopefully BW updates them to keep them fresh. As others have mentioned, I would love pvp dogfights with space combat.
